Services we offer

After your complimentary in-home consultation, we will work in 3-hour organizing sessions to tackle your organizing projects. I can help you tidy, organize, and streamline just about any space: closets, kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, offices, attics, basements, garages, craft rooms, toy rooms, and more. I can also help you establish new routines, set up efficient workspaces, process paperwork, organize photographs, and catalog collections.

Kate was a pleasure to work with. After a short introductory interview, she developed plans for decluttering and organizing various rooms in my home that were easy to for me to complete. The plans broke the overall projects into tasks that could be taken care in a short period of time. That helped to move forward despite the large size of the overall endeavor. I also appreciated the ‘external accountability.’ Knowing that Kate was monitoring my progress provided extra motivation to get things done. She also had recommendations for where to donate or recycle items and tips about how to decide whether to toss, donate or keep. I made a lot of progress and plan to continue working with her. I recommend Kate highly and without reservation.

Kate was just fantastic! She was professional and responsive and we are thankful to have found her on Angie's List. During the in-home consultation we shared plans to sell our home and the urgency to put it on the market. Kate referenced the to-do list and made sure we complied with the recommendations of our realtor/stagger. Unnecessary furniture/art/decor were moved to the basement and cabinets in our kitchen and bathrooms were all organized. We were impressed with all she accomplished in three hours, She took the stress out of an overwhelming process and without hesitation, we would hire her again!

We worked with Kate in order to get ready for our move to Canada. Our situation may have been unique compared to her other clients, but she adapted perfectly. She is easily reachable by email and phone and was on time for every session. It is obvious that she loves what she does. She approaches every challenge with a positive attitude. A three hour session with Kate was much more efficient that any amount of time on our own. After working with Kate, we felt significantly more prepared for our move, physically and mentally.

Kate is incredibly professional and skillful at her job. Coming into someone's home and helping them to organize can be difficult as sometimes it can be hard to let go of certain things or to do things differently. She was helped me to figure out my goals and how to reach them. I especially appreciated how she would get my belongings I no longer wanted to a new "home."

It went great! I think that Kate brings a great balance of gentle and firm to help get the job done. I am not completely disorganized but I am sentimental and held onto more than I needed to. She helped me to consider, "do you really need that?" She also was open to donating items I didn't need to causes I believe in and also to getting things recycled.
Description of Work: I am a working mom and felt frustrated by my lack of organization that led to feeling stressed and inefficient. I have 3 sons and a husband that don't care much about order! While we started with one space in the house- getting an uncluttered workspace in my kitchen- she has helped me with other areas now (organizing kids school papers I have collected since kindergarten, mud room, and closets).

Welp - Howd it go?? If I could yell to the entire world how well it went, I'd refer her to every home in the world that needs help like mine did. I can't even begin to express how wonderful Kate is and how she changed my entire life around for the good. From Day 1 she knew how to get me motivated & join in & make smart decisions quick & easily. She explained the plan each day she came, we'd tackle it & many times got one big job done in a short time leaving time to start another project. She would leave my house everyday with the back of her SUV full of the items that I had no use for (there was lots) she'd bring them to a donation center. This was such a huge asset to the work being done because before I knew it, I was starting to see my furniture/floors/kitchen table/countertops, even my bed again which had been covered with clean clothes that I no longer was even putting away cause there was no place to put them. She had great ideas and methods on ways to organize my closets, draws, she was so creative with ways to keep it the way it was in the future for me. When I decided to hire someone to come into my home and help me, Kate Bosch was my first call and I felt like the search was over right away, but I did get two more quotes. One of the organizers required a $300 deposit just to come out and give a quote, and "IF" I went with them it'd go towards the job and if not I'd be out $300. The last was a woman and her daughter who worked as a team, they came to my house and gave me a quote of $375 and said they could get my house in order in 4-5 hours. I knew that was not physically possible. So I called Kate and booked her right away. I was fortunate to have some time out of work so we had lots of time for her to fit me into her schedule. She came over 2-4 days a week for 2-3 hours each time and for approx 4 - 5 weeks. My life is now getting back to normal and I am actually happy with myself and my house & continue to strive to make it nicer while maintaining everything we did. My family & friends cannot believe the transformation that has taken place in my house. I've never had such a nice house. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Kate ~ you've made me so happy and I honestly am engaging in my life again, I had become a hermit and wouldn't have people over to visit, now I have friends & family over all the time. She saved my life. As for the cost that is mentioned as an optional question, I can't imagine any two jobs are alike as well as the clients etc. So I'm going to skip that, but please know that I feel that I got every penny of what I spent & so much more. Once my taxes come in I'm having her come back and we will tackle my very crowded &'hideous basement, she's got a customer for life with me. I may not need her all the time but I feel that maybe having her come for a few hours every couple of months would keep me on track, she's always learning new tricks of the trade by doing lots of research, so I'm open to hearing & seeing them first hand. Thanks again Kate & to anyone who is going through what I was, I truly believe she's the woman for the job. She's so courteous, professional, and she made the work fun by suggesting we put music on and she is just very pleasant to be with. Okay I'm done ranting, but she # 1 in my book. Thanks so much again, Sincerely, (finally happy in my home) ❤️
Description of Work: I needed LOTS of help getting my home organized & back in order after approx 2.5 yrs. that I had let it go & it had become completely out of control and close to "being a hoarders house." I was living in misery. I had tried so many times to clean/organize & I'd basically just move stuff from one room to another or I'd start 10 different projects and get none done in the end.

It went fantastically! Kate is amazing! Let me begin with the fact that we are not remotely organized people. We are , in fact, such disastrously disorganized slobs that the thought of hiring a professional organizer filled our souls with dread and literally filled us with terror. But necessity breeds invention and in this case we desperately needed help. Kate was not remotely intimidated by the horrible mess of the living room in house. She patiently and without any judgement sat with us side by side, helping to sort through the tons of sentimental and non-sentimental junk and other clutter. She then organized the most important stuff and helped us safely pack it until it was ready for the new furniture. This generated a significant amount of old clutter we did not need but was too nice to throw away. Kate purchased all the boxes we needed then brought all of the clutter herself to the appropriate charities to make sure it was properly donated! This required significant time and effort on her part which she did enthusiastically. She helped us with the major design decisions on the room and even in picking the furniture, paint colors and accessories once even meeting us with the salesman to make sure the room coordinated well. When the day of the delivery finally came she assisted in making sure all the furniture was placed correctly and all the stored items were perfectly displayed in the now glorious new room. By this point, you may guess, we were hooked! Kate continued to help us systematically organize and prepare each of the rooms on that level, leading to getting everything prepared for our dream project, re-doing the storage and furniture in our largest room, the family room. She must have spent hours on her own finding the best and cheapest ikea storage system for the room and them preparing all of our goods to be ready for that. Ultimately she guided us into the perfect storage system for our needs and by then we had de-cluttered so much it was nearly effortless to reload the new system. After the hours she spent patiently putting up with us and all of our stuff and our silly sentimentality about a million small items, loading trash bags, doing charity runs, scouring the internet for us to find the best ideas and to make it simple so we didn't have to, we ended up with something amazing. For the first time in 12 years, we can have friends and guests come over spontaneously and not be embarrassed.. We have a perfect clean and neat and immaculately decorated room for adults to chat and another room with an easy and obvious storage system so the kids have a place to store their toys. We also know Kate is only a phone call away if we get in trouble again. Kate has literally given us an entire new downstairs. More importantly, the systems she has created has allowed us to stay organized so we can rather effortlessly keep the house looking as good as when she was last here. We look forward to working with her again and am already thinking of new projects we can do together
Description of Work: We had a living room which was never fully used and instead become a repository for all of our old stuff and unused clutter which we wanted to turn into a fully functional and furnished room. In order to ready the room for the new furniture (and to pick it in the first place) we desperately needed help figuring out what to do with the stuff and where to put it. This was a very big project involving the need to move and organize literally tons of material in a relatively short time frame before the furniture was ready.
