Excellent! All the movers were professional as well as pleasant and helpful. I was stressed out and they were prepared and so careful with my difficult pieces. They had to move everything through a small alley and try o a second floor. Professionals all the way. Thank you!!!

They were okay. The movers got the job done and did not damage anything in the process. I was able to get them last minute as I had called on a Friday and they were able to come out Saturday.

I developed pneumonia and my children were the persons planning to direct the move. and took time off from their jobs in Massachusetts The mover did not arrive until 4p.m. and when called to find out why a a nameless person in the office said" Well somedays things don't go well!" I have never had an apology They sent 6 men instead of the usual 3 to expedite the move and they were here until 8:30 I had 6 to tip instead of the usual 3! I was presented with a final bill for $1200 or so dollars and refused to pay the entire amount until someone in charge came to my apt and discussed the various problems I had. While moving a large sofa into a room the men, instead of removing thedoor from its hinges forced the sofa through the door and badly gouged the woodwork. Despite calls about this no one has ever come to look at the damage . I had two large plastic hampers brand new, that had their tops broken, an antique chair with its back chipped, a Victorian plant stand with a broken plant holder, a torn garment bag and considerable evidence that storage of boxes was done carelessly.I was very disappointed in the general attitude of the company. No one seemed to take control and try to communicate their concern and to apologize. Apologies and concern for the customer go a long way in soothing bad feelings Meanwhile my bill has been reduced by $200 and I am yet to have bill or letter sent to me. Shame Jones Moving and Storage!!!!!

My movers were great - Manny, Joelle, and Calvin. They worked quickly and were nice guys. All of my items made it safely to my new home. We moved during a snowstorm and the guys were great under crappy conditions. I had first called another mover I had used previously for a quote which was very high. I'm so glad I chose Jones Moving. They were about 1/4 less the cost than the other guys! Would definitely recommended this company!

The 3 movers, Manny, Pauly and Jo-ell were polite, professional and wonderful to work with. At the complex, they were asked to remove the contents of the truck from a location that was difficult for them. Although this made their work more difficult, they never complained. They apologized about the additional time needed, although it was not because of them. This is an organization that does more than advertised and with very good employees. I would recommend everyone to use their services.

Perfect. The movers were on time and very knowledgable. We had some pieces which were challenging to move out. They handled it perfectly. We were very pleased with the job. I highly recommend Jones. Thank you, Angie!

They did a great walk through with us. If there was anything whining around that may put in the box, they gave us anti boxer to put everything in. They were very careful with all of our furniture, stuff that was extra sentimental and make sure they wrap even better. They were efficient and work very tough.

They were on time and handled the items that needed to be moved very carefully. They were very professional and we would definitely recommend them to a friend and hire in future.

They're very prompt and very easy to schedule with, it was a really last minute our request and they were accommodating in every aspect. It was a little last minute to vary our options. I did not like it because they said it would going to be $75 but they got it in and when they were about to write it down and it's per person, and they sent 2 people so I have to give them $150, I'm trying to give them like $80 and I ended up paying that. If I have to recommend them to someone else I'll have to say make sure to confirm the final price and they just need to be more precise. I don't know if that was on purpose or it was just that way. All I wanted to move was just a couch.

I called Jones Moving & Storage first thing on Saturday morning after realizing my husband and I would need help to load the storage container we are using for our move. Jones was able to give us an appointment for Tuesday (3 days later). The young men who came today did an excellent job moving our big, bulky, awkward furniture. They were punctual and super polite and really nice about moving this difficult stuff, in spite of the fact that it was about 95 degrees out! The price was very competitive to the others I saw on-line and the value was amazing. I highly recommend this company (and Devin, Kyle, and Franklin, our movers).

They arrived 9am on the dot which was the scheduled time. All four men were polite and respectful to me, my family, and of my belongings. They were neat, no tracking dirt and they cleaned up any mess that was made.

On time. Super nice / helpful crew. Worked fast and were courteous. Spent only 600 bucks including tip to move across town - having 4 guys to help move an office of 800 sq/ft was perfect. Would recommend again no question about it

They were the best! They were the best I've ever had. They were amazing.

Had a horrible moving experience with another Providence company when we moved from Boston to Providence, so had used very expensive Boston-based moving company when we moved in Providence after that. A friend had recommended Jones, and we took a risk with this move - very glad we did. The movers were courteous and thorough; the estimate for time and costs right on; they provided boxes at their office on the west side, which was helpful. A couple of small dings in the wall from moving a sofa up very narrow stairway, but no harm to the furniture and the dings were easily repaired when we found them.

It was a good experience, even though in the end I did not end up using them (reason in following write up) . I called up Jones moving and they were available on the date that I needed them. In discussion regarding what I needed done, however, I brought up the fact that hoisting might be involved (a big couch from the third floor); the representative taking the call summoned the owner, who told me that they did not handle hoisting, but gave me a reference to another company who did hoist. This was a very professional gesture and very much appreciated - he could have simply told me they did not hoist and leave it at that. Even though I did not end up using Jones Moving, their professionalism was much appreciated and I would not have an issue recommending them.

Badly. I reserved the truck MONTHs in advance - I am a planner - and on the day of the move - they sent the wrong size truck with not enough help. The movers were really good but they were also stressed because they knew their truck was not big enough and they knew we were going to have a bad ending w/ too many things left behind. I did not pay the full bill at the end of the day. I tipped the movers and paid less than what the moving company billed me. I never heard back from the company with an apology - nothing. There are many other better movers from whom to choose!

This move was a disaster on a number of levels but with the exception of the problems listed above, the moving company did well. I would hesitate to recommend them without reservation because of the loss of several boxes. However, I have no idea whose to blame for that. It wasn't cheap but short of doing it yourself it never is.

They were WONDERFUL!..Came on time. Although there were several "glitches'....(Like my daughter's poor packing and the fact that when we arrived at new residence:..Old furniture had been left in her room that had to be moved to basement before her things could be moved in)......Movers were cheerful, co operative, really could not do enough for us. We were so pleased!

This was a horrible experience. They argued with eachother constantly and damaged some of my items. I would not recomend using them. I ended up hiring another company becasue I was so disapointed in their service.

They did an incredible job! Those guys took everything...furniture, boxes and misc. items. They even managed to box up and take a very delicate cactus, which arrived to the new house in perfect condition. We had a bit of a problem with one of the sofas, but the guys put their heads together and made it happen. Each mover was polite, professional and friendly. They moved us out lightning fast, and got our things placed exactly where we wanted in the new house. I would choose Jones Moving and Storage again for my next move.

As far as moving goes, Jones made it as easy as possible

They arrived right on schedule. They were exceptionally careful about backing down my very long and twisting walkway to avoid damage to the yard. They were busy the entire time they were with me and since I had hired them for move only, I was still packing some stuff that was being moved in a POD I had rented plus in my little car. When I was getting to the end of my packing I was running out of everything, packing paper, boxes, etc. They had already loaded my furniture and offered me the extra boxes and a packet of paper that they kept in the truck. My furniture and refrigerator all arrived in perfect condition and were put where I wanted them. The were again careful at my new home putting down pads, covering the new floors with paper and being very careful of the muddy work site.I would hire them again anytime.

I would highly recommend Jones Moving. The crew was very professional and accommodating. They called before they arrived to let us know they were on their way. They showed up on time and never stopped working. They took a quick lunch break during the their drive to our new home and started unloading as soon as they arrived. All of the moving boxes were labeled and they were nice enough to place them in the rooms that were designated on the boxes. Everything from our home fit perfectly in the truck and nothing was damaged. The entire move took roughly 8 hours, well worth every dime!

Three man crew polite new what they were doing never stopped working not even for a quick break except for lunch and they were even fast about that. professional friendly crew and even helped my nerves with jokes to help make the move less stressful. Can highly recommend this moving company again. If I have to move again and I hope not for a long time they would who I would call.

Hired Jones Moving twice in the last several years. Movers were punctual, professional- excellent overall job. Would definitely recommend.
