Correira Brothers’ Moving & Storage

This was thrid time I needed help moving. This firm provides top notich help and even though the crew members were different each time the work was 5 for 5 stars. They train their employees in the right way to wrap, lift and move furniture. A great experience each time.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The first thing that occurred with this moving company is that they cancelled my move the morning of the day it was supposed to happen. They wouldn't make a commitment to move me the next day...until I posted a negative review on Google and then all of a sudden I got a call telling me they would arrive in the morning. Stupidly, I kept my move with this company and thought all had gone well. Fast forward to the next day when my partner discovered that A FULL BOOK OF BLANK CHECKS was missing from an office that had the door closed, nothing to be moved out of, and the movers were told not to enter. I called the company and they told me it was absolutely not their guys...and then someone tried to cash a check for $5K that afternoon. The police have been called and the bank has voided the checks, but the company still denies it was their mover despite the fact that I have an alarm system and know that myself and the movers were the only ones in that house that could have taken those checks. Save yourself a nightmare move and call Sparks Moving and Storage - the company I should have used.

Two movers arrived promptly to the moving site on time and were very courteous and professional. They completed the difficult furniture moving job to the third floor apartment in a efficient, safe and professional manner.

It was excellent. Everyone was very professional, and they were very quick to respond.

DO NOT HIRE!! they sent me three guys. Two where professionals and the other was a bumbling idiot who did thousands of dollars worth of damage due to pure stupidity and not giving a ****. The company told me it was his first day abs theirs a learning curve to this job and they would not take liability for anything. No! My stuff is not a practice ground for your unqualified employees! I’m out thousands of dollars for a terrible job done. Just yo top it off my Apple Watch was stollen from my bathroom by one of them. I’ve never dealt with such an professional company. You have been warned!

The movers themselves were great. Quick and efficient. This review is for the poor management practices and damage claims. They broke our vanity desk during the move and when I submitted a claim it took them 4 months to get back to me. Only to find out that they didnt cover it. The agent Candace was so condescending and told me "that type of cheap furniture from Walmart or Ikea doesn't hold up" and it's written in the terms and conditions and that I should have read it better before signing it. I would have been fine if they were cordial about their response but this complete lack of accountability and throwing shade is unacceptable. Not even an apology. Please beware of such damages if you use them and you are on your own as they don't seem to care.

Very disappointed. They moved half the stuff they were suppose to. When you make an appointment they ask for every little thing you are moving to size the truck. I told them what needed to be moved, they show up with a small truck for a 2 bedroom home and storage unit. Not even close to the proper size. I put everything in 2 rooms that needed to be on the truck, told them that specifically, numerous times they asked if that was it, while there were plenty of large things that still needed to be put on the truck. Felt as if the movers needed to be elsewhere. The truck was about full and still needed to go to the storage unit. I told the person when I called what I needed moved, only half was moved. I had to rent a truck the next day and move the rest myself! Very disappointing, especially when you pay $980 for half of your stuff to be moved. Also, they charge $25 just to move any appliance, on top of the fees they charge for everything else. When I called to voice my concern and situation, I was told it would be looked into and he would get back with me, here we are a week and a half later and not one response. It is one thing if a job was cheap and this happened, paying almost $1000 for a job half done, damaged furniture and time wasted is very disappointing and frustrating.

Newly renovated apartment! Refinished floors scraped up, paint chipped and gouges in woodwork

We used Correira Brothers to move us .7 miles away from our current home on 7/16/19. We confirmed our move with Diana and was told they charge a 3 hour minimum and 1 hour is their drive time. We had a small move and expected and understood the 3 hour charge. Our moving window came and went with no communication from the company. I called & was told they were running late and I would get an ETA soon. I eventually got a call and a text with more inaccurate info and false promises on time and then the movers finally showed up 1 HOUR AND A HALF LATE. TWO AND A HALF HOURS TOTAL WE WAITED fo the movers from the start of our delivery window. They showed up, took inventory and moved all of our stuff to our new home within 45 mins. One of their movers dropped a piece of furniture onto the concrete and they didn't acknowledge at all besides looking at each other. No apology, no "I'm sorry, did we damage it?" nothing. We spent the next hour and 15 minutes having them help us assemble our furniture. At 1:00 (2 hours after the start of the move) we said IN FRONT OF THE MOVERS "ok, our 3 hours is up since the drive time is an hour so we don't want to be charged more". We heard them call the supervisor who also didn't inform them that we still had an hour more that they WOULD BE CHARGING US FOR REGARDLESS IF WE USED IT. If I had been informed, I would have used the movers to help us organize things at the home for another hour since I am not about paying for a service I do not receive. After I saw the $712 charge from this company for 2 HOURS of moving I called and explained all the miscommunication and problems and the tardiness etc. and Diana was sweet but her supervisor, A CORREIRA BROTHER HIMSELF, spoke to me as if I was stupid and couldn't understand why I thought I deserved a refund for 1 hour. I did not ask for a refund for 2 hours, only 1, when I was charged for 4 hours of moving and only used 2. He belittled me and offered me a credit toward a future move. HA OK BUDDY. This company is run by some some dishonest, sneaky people. They know what they are doing when they say 3 hour minimum, confusing you when they charge for 4 HOUR MINIMUM because their drive time is NOT included in their 3 hour minimum. The owner said I am at fault because I didn't read the fine print in their contract and his employee ON A RECORDED CALL is not responsible for confusing me. NOR are his movers responsible for not knowing that I was under contract for a 3 hour move, not 2 hours which is what I believed (plus the 1 hour drive time). HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, DO NOT TRUST THEM. I'm sure he will respond on here and point the finger at me again. He must have missed "the customer is always right" lesson in doing good business. $712 for a 2 HOUR MOVE .7 miles total distance after waiting 2 1/2 hours for them to arrive with no communication about their tardiness. wl the overall move was ok the movers damage some things in my old address. my wife even told the movers to be careful a few Times. after the movers pick up all our furniture and boxes .that's when I seen damage .the guy who gave us the quote said everything will be protected not to worry .me not looking at the whole contract was not told about any policys we needed to protect our furniture and glass boxes .then when we first told the movers about damage to antiques and other box items they were very apologetic about out losses .took pictures and sent them to there Forman. He did call us to make sure the bill was paid first then he explained the process of our claim .that when he told us about the policy we had old paid us for damages by the pound.....we were so upset about our damages we just hung up with raymond. he assured us he would talk to his boss and see what he could do .Raymond called back and said because we did not look over our contact it was my fault. I did not realize there was different policys , non did raymond tell me about it at my home in Richmond. Ge then asked my wife for recipes for damage items .my wife told raymond they were packed in boxes .some we did not have .raymond then said he would offer us 100.00 back for the damages. wow we lost over 650 worth of items and what he did was a slap in the face. we never seen the 100.for the damage antique chair or other things ether .this should have been explained more to us at the time of the 2 hour visit for raymond.

I was very impressed with the service from Correira Brothers. They were extremely accommodating and the price was very cheap compared to other movers. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family. The movers themselves were very nice and careful with my items.

Great company and crew. They moved our 2br apartment larger items in a short amount of time with extreme care. Very reasonable rates. They were also very friendly and seemed like cool guys. Everything came the same as we left it. Do yourself a favor and just call these guys. Thank you Correira Brothers’ Moving & Storage!!!

Realluy polite guys, on time, efficient, don't take a lot of breaks, they were just terrific in every way. I would highly recommend them. They were knowledgeable about everything and I had nothing damaged in either move. They carefully wrapped everything and didn't just throw everything in a truck. They packed the truck in a way that everything was padded correctly and didn't shift around. They knew what they were doing.

The movers were a little late but called me beforehand to let me know they were running behind. They also included 2 extra guys at no extra cost. We were trying to stay in the minimum 3 hour window so that was a big plus. The guys (Jason, Mike, Roc, an RJ) who showed up were very friendly, fast, and efficient. They were very careful not to scratch anything and very organized! Finished in less time then estimate. We were very happy with the overall experience and will consider using them again if needed! Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It went terrific. The team sent (Archie, Mike and Jay) were very courteous, professional, careful of every piece of furniture moved, and worked hard for 12.5 hours straight to get the move accomplished. They disassembled heavy furniture, beds and tables and reassembled them perfectly in our new home and placed every one in the location we requested. I could not be happier with the move. I would definitely recommend Correira Bros. to anyone and recommend you ask for the 'Archie, Mike and Jay' team.

They were done before the 3 hour limit! I am going to try to get them again when I need to have them unload and I would recommend this company to my friends and family!

Professionals all the way! Went above and beyond what we asked for!!!! Very hot day-no complaints!!!! Very reasonable price!!!

They were careful and courteous. They were prompt and did a good job.

Scheduling took a little time but Ray was prompt and called back and stayed in touch via his cell phone to make sure things were going well. It has been hard to find someone willing to do residential snow clearing, so I'm glad we went through Angie's list!

Following a recent divorce, I needed to go thru the remaining contents of a storage unit my wife and I had. Working long hours, being disabled, and not having any lighting in the storage unit, I realized that bringing the items from the storage unit to my apartment was the best solution for sorting out what I wanted to keep. I was reffered to Correira Bros Professional Moving and called them to arrange the job. I spoke with Ray, and was very impressed with his professionalism. He called me twice after making the initial arrangements to insure that nothing had changed. This impressed me. We were to meet at the storage facility at 9:30. Ray and his man were there on time and were very polite. My ex-wife had left a number of empty boxes and some trash in the unit as well. Ray and his helper quickly sorted the empty boxes and trash from what I wanted to make the trip to my apartment. They quickly loaded the truck with no fuss. Then they surprised me and swept the floor of the storage unit and took the trash to the dumpster. They did this without my asking them to. When we got to my apartment, I showed them where I wanted the items to be placed. I opened the patio door for them to have easy access to the apartment. This is when they surprised me again. Without being told or asked, On each trip from the truck, they each paused before entering the apartment to wipe their feet on a mat. While Ray and his crew are young, they are very professional. I have another move coming up and I will certainly be calling them again.
