My husband and I would whole heartedly recommend KCCNE to friends and family for a kitchen and bathroom renovation. KCCNE recently completed a very large job in our home. We purchased a home built in the 70?s and it was in dire need of a new kitchen and two full bathrooms upstairs. Before deciding to go with KCCNE we met with two other design companies but no one gave us the same feeling as KCCNE. A few things we liked from the beginning: all staff are very friendly and approachable, the majority of work is done by employees ? not subcontractors, they treat their employees very well and their job satisfaction is obvious, and are willing to make your budget work. Doing a renovation of any kind, especially 3 rooms at once, is very time consuming but anytime we had a meeting to go over design templates, picking out cabinets, granite etc. all staff were very punctual, had great ideas, and were wonderful to work with. In addition, all staff could easily be reached by email and they usually responded in a very timely manner which was very convenient. Probably the greatest aspect of working with KCCNE is that they truly stand behind their work 110%. They do not cut any corners when it comes to quality and getting the job done right the first time. It may affect the timeline of the project, but it?s worth it in the long run. Even after the final payment is made they still come back and fix any issue no matter the size. We did not live in the house during the renovation due to the size of the job but the workers always kept a clean job site and progress was made daily. The renovation was 99% completed in 12 weeks, which is amazing considering the huge amount of work we had done. We are totally in love with our kitchen and bathrooms. The workmanship is top notch and the cabinets, backsplash, granite, floors etc. that their designer helped us put together look straight out of a magazine. We could not be happier with the work from KCCNE.

first off quote was almost double the other contractors we called. things we were not happy with: they wanted to replace all theexisting subfloor without even checking to see if was damaged. wanted to rewire entire kitchen even though it is newer and only needed new outlets. not sure if they do good work or not, but hard to choose them when other contractors with equally positive reviews were 40-50% less.

We decided to go with another fabricator on our project, but I was impressed when I got a call from the owner after I expressed my unhappiness with the price. He seemed very honest and I would not shy away from using them in the future.

Throughout the entire process everyone was extremely helpful and professional. Dealing with an older home and leaving the custom made cabinets in place, we encountered some unexpected challenges which involved having to have a carpenter and electrician perform work. KCCofNE had their carpenter and electrician come out and do the work and did not charge any extra! The work looks great and everyone was a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend them to all my friend and use them again in the future.

There were some problems along the away, but they did a nice job. I was very satisfied with the ending project. It was very expensive.

They did an excellent job. They worked with us on the design and gave us input throughout the project. They do not subcontract so everyone involved is their employee. The carpenter, Doug, was dedicated to our project and was awesome. Their teams work together to minimze the project time and ensure an excellent finished product. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen and with KCCNE.

It was sort of a complete package. It included the design and consult with interior decorators. It was kind of a one-stop shop. The biggest thing was that they do all the work. They don't subcontract out to other people. They did have to postpone it a couple of times and come back, but in general it has been fine.

Excellent. They took the time to do it right. Excellent craftsmanship. A number of issues came up and they dealt with them promptly and professionally.

I can't recommend this company enough. They told us it would take 17-20 days to complete the project and aside from a very SMALL punch list, they met that goal. Each team of electricians,c plumbers, master carpenter all walked into our home as scheduled and WOW, what a team of professionals. They keep you informed of what and when each team will be there and you are never disappointed. If you want a stress free kitchen renovation, use KCCNE!

It was an absolute pleasure doing business with KCCNE. Sandy ,one of their many talented kitchen designers, was beyond awesome. She is very talented and creative. She has a good eye for color and design. She understood what I wanted and she delivered. Sometimes what you have for a design in your mind gets lost in translation,not the case with Sandy.We worked together and I have an amazing kitchen that is very unusual.We are building our dream home on the ocean so I wanted to bring the feeling and colors of my surroundings into my home. I used Decora cabinets and mixed a bead board style cabinet in a walnut color with an arts and craft shaker style cabinet in soft warm creamy beige color.My counter top is silestone in a grey color.It can be difficult to tie in warm and cool colors together but in my opinion my kitchen looks gorgeous. As for the install KCCNE sent a gentleman named Joe who was also fabulous to work with. He is extremely talented and was willing to go above and beyond to make me happy.He is a perfectionist and does beautiful work.I also had KCCNE install the vanities in the Master, and 3 other baths. They too came out beautiful and are all different.My master vanity top is made out of walnut. Sandy shopped high and low to find that for me as well.I could go on and on about my experience with KCCNE . I would highly recommend you check them out,their pricing is great too!

I cannot say enough about John, who was the carpenter who mostly worked on the project and rebuilt my island. He is an artist!Polite, courteous and respectful of my home. I admit that during the course of the job I asked them to add on a few things which really ended up looking nice. I wanted lighting installed over my new cabinet trim. Spoke with John about it 3 times. Spoke with Joe, the electrician who said no problem, easy one day job. I heard nothing back from KCCNE about the lighting so I called Kate the designer who may or may not have relayed my request, but no one came to do the install or gave me a price. Fast forward to the job is done and they want payment. Joe, the co-owner told me at outset and quot;if you are not happy with the job, you do not payand quot;. I called and said I still want the lighting which I asked for at least 5 times and everyone dropped the ball. He calls me back and says and quot;oh thats a huge 2 day job and we have too many BIG jobs going on right now and you have to pay for what we agreed on at the startand quot;. Mind you I already paid over $11,000 to them at this point, and it does not look like I will be getting my lights, at least not from KCCNE. So, while the quality of the work is great and I love my granite, they did not work to fully satisfy me. I was also told they would send in a cleaning team to clean up all the dust after the granite was installed....never happened. Bottom line, they are no different than most other contractors; promise everything and deliver on 75% or less.

They were not interested in our business that day. . Their prices were much higher than everybody else.

Charlie came out and provided us with a written estimate. Charlie is a very professional person. He called us several times after we received the estimate. Ultimately we decided to go in another direction. We would have no problem calling him in for any other projects we may have in the future, you should too.

The staff at the showroom/workshop were helpful, knowledgable, and great to work with. They guided us in selecting the best granite to meet our needs. After we finally settled on our patterns (Honed Black for the counters and Minsk Green for the island) they coordinated the creation of a template, cut the stone and arranged for its installation. The crew who installed the countertops were topnotch. They worked as a team in a well orchestrated, meticulous manner to get the job done. While installing the backsplash a section snapped. Rather than installing it as it was they insisted on replacing it with a new section which they did the following week. A recent follow-up visit by a service man addressed some scratches that we were responsible for and KCCNE did not charge us for the service. The selection of granite at the showroom is amazing. The new countertops are beautiful and draws raves from everyone who sees them. The staff has been a pleasure to deal with. We could not be more pleased with the job.

The individual that worked with us was very nice, answered all our questions, and gave us get information. However, we found another company that price was much cheaper for the same granite counter. So we went with another company.

Very professional, fantastic tradesmen, superb design skills. They took care of everything and the results were amazing. The finishes are stunning and no detail was overlooked. I couldn't be more pleased..

They are very accommodating, nice it was just a matter of dollars. I was very pleased overall.

We met with Joe to take pictures of our existing kitchen. Next we met with Mary Jane who already had done a detailed plan for the kitchen remodel. Mary Jane helped pick out our cabinets, granite, and hardware. They started on the exact date that they said they would (which was scheduled almost 2 mos in advance). The KCCNE team removed our old kitchen. They were very neat about all demo and install work. The electricians were outstanding! The tile work came out great. The plumber had some trouble reconnecting our reverse osmosis filtration system. However, KCCNE reimbursed us the cost of having the original RO installer come in to reattach the filtration system. They coordinated and completed the project quickly. Whenever small issues arose, Joe was accessible and responsive. We would absolutely recommend KCCNE. We are not great with design issues and could not have done this project without Mary Jane and Joe helping us every step of the way!

The total experience was great! We couldn't be happier with the result. Our kitchen was substantially finished in 16 working days, and the result is an absolutely gorgeous kitchen area that transforms our home. From day one when the demolition crew arrived until the end, we found everyone from KCCNE to be professional, skillful, personable, and accommodating. They tried to disrupt our lives as little as possible and cleaned everything up at the end of the day. Because all the carpenters, electricians, hardwood floor installers, plumbers, etc., connected with the project are employed by KCCNE and are not subcontracted, the project was choreographed to run smoothly and efficiently, with each component being scheduled so that we didn't sit around for days waiting for somebody to show up. The tradesmen were all skilled craftsmen, and their attention to small details added stylish features we would not have thought of and was beyond our expectations. We are would definitely recommend KCCNE without hesitation.

There were a couple of snags, but they fixed everything and the end result is fabulous. They are very professional, on time, and responsive. The quality of the work is unbelievable. It is wonderful.

The overall experience was great. From the first meeting with Joe Pakuris, we were very impressed with both his business philosophy and his ability to connect with the customer. Following an office consultation was a home visit to discuss design options. Next came several meetings to go over the final design and to select cabinetry and granite for the countertops. Prior to the work being started Joe directed us to other business providers where we picked out appliances, plumbing fixtures, and lighting. These other businees coordinate with KCCNE so that installaton of these other aspects of the revnovation go smoothly. Becasue KCCNE has their own plumbing, electrical and installation crews, the work is able to be done in a very reasonable amount of time. Considering that your home is in complete upheaval, the fact that the time is only a few weeks, makes the experience much more bearable. Joe and his staff, both office and onsite, were very responsive to all our questions and concerns, both before and during the renovation process. All members of the work crews were professional and pleasant and able to establish a positive relationship with the customer. They were mindful of how disruptive this process can be to the owner and everyone cleaned up at the end of each day. As with any major undertaking sometimes unexpected developments arise, these were taken in stride and considered as challenges, not problems. Because of this "can-do" spirit, any anxiety on our part was alleviated. We did make the suggestion to Joe and his office staff that the customer be alerted to any changes to the work schedule a day or so in advance, if at all possible.We have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone considering a kitchen and/or bathroom renovation regardless of the size of your project.

The estimate/contract was clear and complete. They started and finished as scheduled. They were clean and professional. They did everything as stated and corrected it as scheduled standing by all work even after a year.

I didn't use this company. It felt like they were in a rush to get the job and get it done. I just felt like I was another sale. There was no connection there.

They hire their own people and manage the coordination of a kitchen redo which is convenient, but we had difficulty with them in terms of some of the quality of the material and some of the understanding of what was going into the kitchen and the quality of the flooring. It wasn't the very best type of work. They got the job done, but there was also a lot of supervision in having them redo things to fix different problems. I truly don't know the worth of the work done. After pressing them, they did pull up and redid the floor. They exceeded to pulling up the sub floor at our request, otherwise, the kitchen floor would have been above the floors of the other rooms. We had splinter poured all over the basement. There were hundreds of little holes in the planks. After complaining, they got the wood from another company. The people who installed were sloppy with their hammer banging. They actually damaged some of the sides of the plank. They put a plank edging that went over the basement stairs. It had jetted out so far that we had about 5 inches to put our foot down on the first step. They did redo that. The tile was put in by someone had no finished edge. I didn't know that until one of the workmen came and said that to me. They sent somebody back to put a finished edge on it. Under the lips of the edges that go down one step, we had to fill it with clacking. I do not know why they did that. It was not a very good experience. We saw it all way. I even had to go into a corner and take the paint myself because they neglected a 2-inch segment that was between door frames. They had just skipped it. There is a pantry that was inserted into the wall. They inserted while the painters still had the blue tape on the wall. We had to work to pullout the edges of the blue tape. They were pretty punctual. No, I would not use this company in the future.
