 + -1 moreWe had a sudden leak in our water pipe. I received a call back immediately after leaving the message and scheduled an appointment for later that day. Jason called prior to our appointment to let me know that he was running a little bit late and was on his way. He really was only a few minutes behind schedule. Jason assessed the problem and gave me options, then fixed the leak right then by replacing a section. He offered he thoughts on another issue he discovered, but no pressure. I will definitely be hiring again for other plumbing projects that I know will need done.

Richard and his son have assisted me with various plumbing problems, large and small, and I have always been pleased with their professionalism, friendliness and fair prices. Most recently, I called Pickles Plumbing to report a leaking kitchen faucet. Richard came the next day and replaced the old faucet with a new, more modern fixture. I was very pleased with the service, as always.

After explaining the issues I was having, he offered to come by on Saturday even though their normal business hours are Monday-Friday. He showed up on time and got right to work. He was so quiet that I almost forgot he was in the house. He also didn't even mind the multiple visits from my very cuious Husky. He cleaned up after himself and did it all in a very short period of time. All in all, the job was done right and done well. If I have any future plumbing issues, I will definitely use this company again.
Description of Work: Replaced the drain in my kitchen sink, and replaced some piping in two areas of my basement.

 + -1 moreExtremely pleased with the work done on the plumbing. Rick even exceeded my expectations by finding some trouble spots and fixing them without a major change in the estimated price. The work was of high quality and done quickly. He was done by noon with a number of repairs. Rick arrived on time and got right to work after I chatted with him a bit about his recommendation for a good electrician. He was friendly to deal with, came on short notice for an estimate right before heading out on his vacation, and was easy to schedule when we decided to move forward with the repairs. I have a few more projects n mind for Rick, so will surely be calling him again in the future.
Description of Work: A number of odd jobs performed from resealing the toilet to replacing a number of rusted or frozen valves. Also repaired the shower faucet. But most importantly he fixed a number of lengths of pipe that were on the verge of springing a leak and extremely corroded.

Description of Work: I just purchased a house after my work had me relocate. It was an older house and the previous owner was evidently a do it yourselfer. I had 5 different plumbing issues. I had a washer tube that was unusable because it was not sealed properly and leaking on the floor. I had a shower in the main bathroom that didnt transfer to the shower part very well so you never got a full shower the water would come out but very weak. I had a septic tank the didnt work properly and was incorrectly installed. I had a main valve that was leaking because previous owner had a PCV pipe going directly into a cast iron pipe.and I had Richard run a outside faucet to the backyard because there wasnt one. He ended up putting in new piping on the washer tube and routing it in a more professional manner he replace the septic pump and installed it properly rerouting the piping and installing some valves. He ran the line and installed a outside faucet. and relined and installed a boot to the main line that was leaking and changed the diverter in the shower the one that was in there was the wrong type for that type of shower. I was expecting a good job but he gave me a great job. Actually his son is the one would did the job. I would recomend Richard Pickles Plumbing. In fact I called him to quote me on another job that says it all.

Description of Work: My garbage disposal needed replacement. Mr Pickles arrived on time, was friendly, and did an excellent job replacing the bad disposal at a very fair price after being unable to repair the old one. I have used Pickles Plumbing in Burrillville approximately 10 times over the past 15 years. They have always been quick to respond and are very professional.  + -1 morePickles Plumbing was prompt in responding to my initial call and they arrived on schedule to do the initial inspection that would allow them to provide a quote. They provided the quote when they said they would and the price was pretty good, given the scope of work and the fact that the job would take several visits as the reconstruction of the house proceeded. All the work was done professionally, using good quality materials and the job site was left clean and tidy. We are very happy with the job that Richard and Jason Pickles did and would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced all the plumbing in an existing house from the water main to all hot/cold piping, waste pipes and fixtures.

Description of Work: We've used Mr. Pickles for all our plumbing needs for a number of years now. He's always been very responsive, courteous and professional. Today I called just because we were having some issues with our water tasting odd and I wanted to make sure it wasn't a plumbing issue before we called the well company--Mr. Pickles was here in about twenty minutes, checked everything over and didn't charge us a thing. We have had him do signicant plumbing work in the past (putting in the plumbing for a basement washing machine) and again he was wonderful and his prices are very reasonable.

 + -1 moreDue to extreme flooding in the area during the week of 3/28/10, well water was coming into the basement and started flowing through a rubber sleeve that contains the wiring for the well pump. Richard returned my phone call almost immediately and gave me an appointment for that afternoon. Fortunately, he was able to diagnose the problem right away and made some minor modifications to the rubber sleeve, which allowed the excess water to flow out and not into the well pump housing, thereby avoiding a major problem.
Description of Work: Checked problem with water coming into the basement due to heavy flooding and flowing into well pump housing.
