Above All Roofing

I called Above All Roofing for an estimate on 6/19/14. My call was returned on 6/21/14 by someone who claimed to be a "principal" of the business. He told me that he really couldn't speak with me at the moment to discuss all of the details, but he would call me on Monday 6/23/14. I did not hear back from this guy on 6/23/14, as promised, so I called him on 6/24/14, at which time he told me that he was on an emergency job in Jamestown, RI and didn't get back into the office until 9:00 pm that evening. By then it was too late to return any calls. Fair enough. He told me to give him my street and email address and that he would come by within a day or two, at which time he would email me an estimate. Well, here it is 6/29/14 and I still have not heard anything from this company. If they don't want the work, then just be upfront and say so! Doing business this way is extremely discourteous and very unprofessional. I am moving on and suggest that everyone else do the same when it comes to dealing with Bozos like this!

We have a combination pitched and flat roof which can be a challenge to an inexperienced roofer. Above All Roofing did the job right the first time. They have the knowledge and experience to handle even the tough roofing jobs. They arrived on time, got the job done promptly and for the price they quoted. They are an established business that came highly recommended.

The whole experience was Grade A from beginning to end. The owner, Shaun Reilley and the six members of his highly professional crew arrived right at the estimated time and proceeded to cover the entire house with a protective tarp and for the next 8 eight hours, removed all of the old roof and and replaced it with a new roof. The work was completed with great skill and attention to detail. They clearly explained what they were doing and pointed out what had been done incorrectly in the past. They finished the day with the most thorough clean up and a final inspection and walk around with both my wife and myself. We strongly recommend Above All Roofing. You can't go wrong!

Provider was very responsive to inquiries, provided complimentary quote, followed up to check on questions regarding quote and scheduled job effeciently. I was very pleased with this company and would recommend them to anyone in need of a new roof. The job was completed on time which was very important to me. The company provided accurate pricing and the workers were polite and accommodating. And once again a good company to work with.

above all roofing had to eliminate ice damming on our roof. work in very dangerous conditions. they had to clear up snow and ice from roof, repair roof and correct the bad situation. all with snow and ice on ground making ladder work an extreme hazard. they worked both exterior and interior replacing materials and correcting issues. they were nice to deal with and encourage you to use them too.

Trust Shaun's expertise and read his reviews to see for yourself. Note: I originally spoke to another roofing contractor, but was not confident they would do the work to our satisfaction. I then contacted Above All Roofing, and immediately noticed a huge difference in the level of professionalism. This company was fantastic. I called them because I needed a new roof. They provided me with a written estimate in less than a week. The job was done in one day. Above All also installed soffit vents and a ridge vent while they were there. The owner of the company stopped by twice to make sure I was satisfied with the crew. They were very polite and courteous. The clean up was outstanding. My yard looked better when they left than it did before they even got there, I would absolutely recommend this company to anybody who needs a new roof.

I contacted this vendor to provide and an estimate for fixing the roof on my building. After two calls to them I was able to speak to the person who is listed as the primary contact. At the time he was traveling and stated he would contact me back later that evening so we could finalize a date and time for us to connect. He never returned my phone call so I have decided to move on. There are several other companies out here that have been extremely responsive so I have decided to go with one of them instead... estistate

Above All Roofing was very good in providing an estimate of the cost and in bringing shingles to my house for my selection. The contract and all of its terms were explained fully, which I appreciated. The start date was postponed several times and I became concerned. The solution was for them to send part of a crew to do the work so it took four days rather than the one or two originally described. The work, however, was of very high quality and I am very pleased with the result. In addition, the roofers were careful to protect flowers and shubbery and their clean up was fantastic - nails and pieces of old shingles all picked up and carted away. I would definitely recommend them. And after you read a couple of Angie's List comments that they never called back, you will appreciate when their truck pulls up and on the side, in big red letters, it says, "We do call you back."

II have called GAF and placed a claim on my damaged roof. I was told the they would need some samples of the shingles on my roof , by getting onto the roof and cuttin some of the shingles and sending them to GAF. I tried several, several, several, several times again to reach ABOVE ALL ROOFING, MR SHAWN REILLY, but again failed, does not return calls!!!!!!! Finally after some help, I met Mr. Drew Paetow, a Representative from GAF. He came to my home for a few minutes and told me to call him when I was ready for him to deliver some roofing shingles because he was not from R.I. and he would set-up a appointment for the delivery and I of course would have to find someone to get on the roof to do this job......... I would think that after all I have been through that one of ABove All Roofers could do this for me without a problem.....Mr. Shawn Reilly was standing right next to Mr. Paetow when this was told to me. I guess he thought I should do it at 70 years of age...........This has been going on for several, several months. I would hope that people who own a large business would respect there customers a little more than this company did with me. At the cost of $8600.00 and ending up with a big mess, there is a lesson to be learned......do your homework very well-----when choosing a company to do work for you......... **(UPDATE)** This has be a complete financial disaster to my home and my family. I have had thire another company to correct all theto errors that Above All Roofing neglected to complete on my home, such as no FLASHING INSTALLED AND ALL THE sHINGLES WERE COMING OFF THE HOUSE BECAUSE THE WERE NOT APPLIED CORRECTLY. i HAD WATER IN BOTH DORMERS OF MY SECOND FLOOR AND IWATER DAMAGE IN 5 ROOMS OF MY HOME!!!!!!!!!! A ABSOLUTE MESS!!!!!!!! THAT I PAID TO ABOVE ALL ROOFING IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,000.00.THE OWNER,MR. SHAWN RILEY, WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS AT ALL. HE WOULD NOT ADDRESS THE PROBLEM AT ALL.I HAVE PICTURES OF ALL THE WORK THAT WAS DONE TO MY ROOF AND THIS IS BEING TRANSFERRED TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AS HE HAS ALSO COME TO MY HOME.I HAD TO PAY OUT OF MY POCKET FOR THE DAMAGE THAT ABOVE ALL ROOFING DID TO MY ROOF. The job was started in the morning after I left for work, and I had a new roof when I came home. Two large panes got broken but I haven't spoken to Shawn about it yet since it was nothing major and I can deal with it. I wasn't able to see what went on since I wasn't there. Everything is good so far. I had never spoken to them before I looked them up on Angie's List.

I sent a detailed email asking for information, quotes or simply to be contacted to discuss several roof jobs I have coming up, I was never contacted. Maybe it was lost in the spam filter but I wasn't impressed.

I chose Above All Roofing for this work because they had impressed me with their professionalism on a previous job. On this current job, Chris and Ray and their crew stripped the roof and replaced the shingles in less than a day. Work on the windows, gutters, and columns was completed by the end of the second day. The few times a problem came up that would add to the cost of the job, the project managers consulted me and presented options for addressing the issues. During the installation of the weight-bearing columns, Mike and Jim found creative solutions to address each of my concerns and asked for my 'executive decision' as needed; and as a result the columns look like they've always been there. The project managers and workers were courteous, respectful, professional and responsive. No one likes to spend over $13,000 when they're living on a very tight budget, but I believe I got my money's worth. The house looks great. I would recommend Above All Roofing to anyone looking for quality workmanship.

Due to high demand for snow removal this winter, the owner, Shaun Reilly, was not able to send a crew that same day. However, he was able to get a crew to my house a day sooner than promised. The snow was cleared quickly, and the crew was able to remove one of the ice dams. During our initial phone conversation, Mr. Reilly also explained some measures I could take to add support under a large flat roof until the snow could be removed. Mr. Reilly later sent someone to make a minor repair after an ice dam melted enough to reveal a damaged shingle at the edge of the sloped roof. I found Mr. Reilly and his associates to be professional, courteous, and enthusiastic about their work.
