To say my experience with Kevin was great would be an understatement. From my initial call to Kevin to get an estimate for the job to the completion of the work, Kevin was attentive. I first called Kevin on a Friday to get an estimate, he returned the call before the end of the day and requested a picture of what I was looking for and said he'd get back to me as soon as he could. Well on Saturday he called me from the building with a price and a few suggestions on what we could do. On Tuesday the job was started and by Friday the job was done. Kevin was on site each day, from demo, to prep, to finish. Kevin takes pride in his work and it shows. I have a nice new cement walkway with the proper pitch that will help eliminate the winter ice problem that I had.

We were very pleased with Kevin and his work. He answered our phone inquiry promptly and came right by to offer an estimate. We did not have a written contract, making our arrangements verbally and securing with a handshake. He kept his word and we had no qualms about the arrangement. He was paid by check upon completion of the job. He was able to schedule the work soon after the estimate was accepted. He arrived promptly, worked efficiently and was a pleasure to have at our home. He was very careful with the pitch of the steps to provide correct water run-off and replaced a wrought iron hand railing securely. We are very pleased with the results and recommend him without reservation.

Kevin responded to me quickly and was able to give me pricing for the work. He gave me a schedule for the work and then was able to move up the date because of a change in a different project. Kevin arrived on time each day and communicated what would be done each day. He stayed on schedule and when complete, he went above my expectations by bringing top soil and filling in the grass edges where the concrete forms had been. I did not expect that. The job was completed for the agreed costs. I will be using Kevin for any additional concrete needs. I would highly recommend him.

We are very grateful for Kevin's honesty, kindness and professionalism! Kevin saved us a lot of money by explaining how we could avoid a pricy staircase repair with some simple DIY repair. He went out of his way to help us save money when he could have easily taken the job (we are pretty clueless about concrete and assumed we had to replace our steps). We are so impressed and thankful and will without a doubt be contacting him for any future work we need done! We called Kevin to get an estimate for the repair of our concrete front steps as recommended by our inspector. Kevin assured us that we in fact did not need to repair the steps and just needed some minor sealing that we could do ourselves. He went above and beyond to tell us the name of the products we needed and gave us the name of a specific store that sold a special silicone filler we would need to repair the step. He even gave us the phone numbers of the stores we could buy the items with. It's so refreshing to work with someone who is so helpful and honest, at no benefit to himself.

The steps to our front door were deteriorating due to the harsh winter weather conditions and our use of salt as a de-icer. Kevin suggested that we trying repairing them rather than replacing them. I am so glad that we took his advice. Not only was this approach much more economical, Kevin did a beautiful job with the repairs. He is a true artisan. He patiently and carefully re-mortered the stones. His work was meticulous. The steps look brand new! Kevin was professional, prompt and a pleasure to deal with. He left the work area spotless. Without question, he is the person we will have do any future masonry work at our home.

Kevin is hands down the best communicator you'll find on Angie's list. He's just there (and he actually uses mobile technology--imagine that--speeds up everything). He knows his stuff and does what nobody else does (read on). Kevin talked to me on the phone (actually picked up the first time I called?imagine that), looked at images I texted him of my issue, came to my house [within 2 days], determined that the best solution was for me to use someone else [that happened to be cheaper and now that?s it?s installed look great], went to the trouble to call that person and tell them all the details to make it work and didn?t charge me anything. D***. Makes me proud to live in America. Other contractors out there: this is how you do it. He knows his business so well that he?s not afraid to recommend someone else if that?s the best solution. What if politics worked like this? A movie should be made of this guy.

Looked at area to be serviced. Misinterpreted needs. Never heard from them again. I felt he was too busy for what I was asking. Blew me off.

The front steps were totally ruined by the severe winter. They were cracked, split and pieces missing. The half railing came off the brick facing and fell off. Kevin came in and gave a quote to replace the steps and and two railings. The demolition was a little more than expected which added a little to the cost. This company did every thing that was promised and then some. Always on time and always kept us informed as to what was going on. When the project was done, WOW. It was better than we expected. They added another step, replaced the half railings with full railings coming down both sides of the steps. Replaced a big section of my walkway. What a great job. We can't stop starring at it. well worth the price for the great workmanship. Would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work.

It didn't take long, Kevin was personable, arrived on time and repointd a few bricks that came loose then repaired the corner of the cementl top step that had a crack in it, they were done in about 2 1/2 hpurs....I was pleased with job,

Everything went excellent. He is a very nice person who did a great job.

The 4 steps to our front porch were broken and crumbling, including a huge crack in the landing that meets the wooden porch stairs. We had gotten a much higher estimate from another contractor who said we needed the entire thing replaced. Kevin gave us the option of replacing some of the broken concrete but patching other areas for about $600. During the work, however, something broke and he said he needed to replace everything, and it would be more (but still less than the other estimate). In the end, her rebuilt the steps and the landing, so that it fits with the wooden landing and stairs, and it looks great. The only issue that we weren't able to replace the hand rail.

It was excellent. No complaints. The work was neat, complete and correct. Kevin was truly professional from start to finish.

This winter took its toll on my already aging concrete front steps: one day my mail deliverer stepped onto the bottom step and the whole thing fell off! Fortunately he was not hurt, but the step was in bad shape. I called Kevin who asked me to send him a photo of the damage, and then he came the next day to give an estimate. We talked about repairing the single step VS replacing the whole set of stairs with new prefab concrete - I liked that Kevin wasn't pressuring me to go with the bigger + more expensive job of replacing the whole stairs - he assured me that he could repair the step to match the others, and emailed me photos of similar jobs that he had completed. Kevin repaired the single step - it rained so he had to break up the job into a couple of days, but the step looks great! He was friendly, on-time, responsive via texting and phone calls, and very professional; he also gave me an Angie's List discount. I would recommend him for any masonry repair. Thank you, Kevin!

The top landing of my concrete and brick stairs cracked and was receding. Kevin was very responsive in providing an estimate. He was upfront with all of the required work, showed up on time and completed the job within two days. I've received a lot of compliments on how nice it looks. Most of all, I feel safe using those stairs again.

We called Kevin to give us an estimate on tearing down and rebuilding concrete stairs in front of our house. We had recently had another contractor to do the job; however, this contractor just poured new steps over existing foundation, and sprayed sides w/some type of concrete material. The finish work done by previous contractor was horrible, and when called back to fix the problem, only did minimal patch job. We called Kevin, and he came the same day to look at the project. Kevin was genuinely concerned about helping remedy the problem with out having us have to pay for demolition and reconstruction of new stairs, since we had already spent so much on previous contractor. He explained what he could do with existing steps to improve overall appearance, and gave us a fair estimate. Kevin returned w/in the week, and completed the job. He actually charged less than what he originally quoted. The finish work was beautiful! Kevin has an eye for detail and genuine concern for customer satisfaction. I only wish that we had called him in the beginning. I would highly recommend him, and will call on him again if we should need any more concrete work done.

Kevin was very responsive and discussed details of the project each day to keep my wife and I updated. Kevin delivered me a quote that was on par with all other quotes. Like any job of this magnitude, it is expected that issues would arise. After tearing down the landing of the steps Kevin found major sill rot behind the stairs. Kevin was honest enough to tell me about it and stopped work until I could remediate the issue. It took me several days to fix this... this was a hold-up for Kevin, but Kevin did not complain or make issue of the hold-up. Through the entire process, Kevin found ways to save my wife and I a few dollars... in the end I paid less than the original quote and the stairs came out better than I anticipated!!!! Kevin is a perfectionist and puts a lot of pride into his work. I can honestly say, this guy will get the job done and deliver a superior product. Kevin, keep up the good work!!!!

Kevin stopped by the house to give us estimate within hours of calling him. He not only came across as being very knowledgeable of the work, but he was respectable and made us feel like he was glad to do the job (something that I sometimes wonder about when I get estimates from people these days). He got us a quote quickly, and did the job soon thereafter. The job was done well. Kevin and his crew were respectable and nice while at our place. We were happy with the work.

Excellent job, throughout. Kevin came the same day I contacted him to inspect the job, and provided a quote that afternoon. He started the job within two days, and was finished two days later. He is meticulous; someone else might have seen some small imperfection and let it go, but not Kevin because he wanted the work to be perfect. He kept me informed throughout the project, let me know what he was doing, and why. My wife thinks he was the best contractor we ever had do work on the house.

Prompt, cleaned up when finished, gave instructions when to walk on steps. Thorough--job took most of the day but they did not waste time working. All said, I am satisfied.

Job went well. Was timely in his inspection and estimate. Very good workmanship. Kept us appraised of what was happening.

The estimate was prompt and just under his competitor. Once approved, Kevin and a coworker came the next day to demolish the area. To our surprise, Kevin came on a Saturday morning, the next day, to pour the concrete, thus cutting the time we had to wait to use our driveway by two days. Looks good.

Extremely professional, exceptionally responsive and on time. I first called him at 4 PM, by 5 PM he came to the house to do an estimate, and by 6 PM had called back with a quote. On every occasion he let us know when he was coming, and came on time, starting and finishing the project well before orginally planned. It looks terrific and would wholeheartedly recommend him. Unfortunately cannot compare prices as 2 of the other 3 companies called on Angie's List did not call back, and 1 came to look but never called with a quote, nor returned my call. Thus the "B" for Price.
