Description of Work: Years ago Kevin helped me out last minute when I was selling my home. I hired him over the phone and my girlfriend met him at the house. He had great communication, sent me picture updates while he was working, and did great work. This was the first time in my life I needed any Masonry work. He was so great that I kept his number in my phone. So many times you hire someone to do some work and you never bother to save their contact information since they were so forgettable. I made sure to save his number and I’m glad I did! We are thinking about selling the house and my concrete steps were in bad shape. Kevin responded immediately and came by and gave me a reasonable quote. He explained exactly what he was going to do and how. They came this morning and did an amazing job. He also made a lot of repairs that we did not discuss that were above and beyond. He really cares about the quality of his work and making sure you are happy. I cannot express enough how happy I am that I know a quality craftsman like this is out there.

Description of Work: My cement steps were crumbling. Kevin suggested pre-made steps as a replacement. He could have tried to convince me to order something more expensive since I had never heard of pre-made steps, but he suggested what was most affordable while still being excellent quality. A subcontractor removed the old steps under Kevin's direct supervision. Kevin prepared the area for the new steps which were delivered within a week of the consultation. Kevin was here before 8:00 AM on the day of delivery and stayed until the steps were delivered over 2 hours late. He helped with the installation, ensuring perfection, and repaired a section of the sidewalk at the bottom of the stairs. He took the time to shape the sidewalk to the width of the stairs which were wider than the old ones. The clean up was meticulous. Kevin gave me his best professional advice on the stairs and some other jobs I was considering. I was impressed that he actually advised me against something I was considering which would have been fairly lucrative for him. The subcontractor who demolished the old stairs and the company that made the new stairs were paid separately but their cost was included in the original estimate. Working with Kevin was a totally positive experience. Other professionals could learn a lot from Kevin about demanding excellence even on a rather small job. He made sure that I was 100% satisfied and told me how to care for the stairs...telling me not to use salt on them. This was not an expense I had budgeted for, and being on a fixed income, not easy to figure out the finances. But everyday, I am glad that I made the choice to have Kevin replace the steps. I'm no longer concerned about safety and they are a great addition to the house.

Description of Work: I hired Mr. Gonsalves to repair major cracks in my home's foundation.

Description of Work: We had our front and back stairs, which were falling apart, demolished and replaced. Kevin does fantastic work, especially on the finish side. My neighbors have remarked on how good the front stairs look.

Description of Work: We originally wanted stamped concrete walkways from the street to the front and side doors. Kevin recommended that we also replace the side stairs as they were worn and not large enough. We ended up having him replace the steps too, and the results of his work were all beyond our expectations.

Description of Work: The existing raised multi level sidewalk and steps were nearly 40 years old and cracked and broken. Kevin demolished the old concrete, rebuilt the supporting decorative stone wall and step risers and poured new steps and a new sidewalk. Between 4 and 5 cubic yards of concrete were used in this job.
