Description of Work: D&D Metal was hired to design and install a heat and humidification system in our yoga studio. The humidification came no where near what it was promised to do. Giving credit where due, the heat unit itself was good and the diffuser was constructed well. Unfortunately for us, the other duct work by D&D caused an imbalance in pressure and caused the a/c to be ineffective. We had to replace the humidification system at our own expense because D&D would not stand behind their work. They were unresponsive in addressing our complaints. We still have not resolved the a/c problem. Hiring D&D was a mistake that has cost us thousands of dollars and endless grief. Stay away!!

yes i was hired to install a heating unit with humitiy, as to there specs they were installing 2 hotdog hanging units with a humidifier, I told customer that it would be better to install a 90% gas furnace so that way fuel cost would be better , in no way shape or form did I say I was a hot yoga specialist I just gave them a better system some business owners should check into the type of busines before starting a business that they know nothing about. then they said I broke there 25 year old a/c system that has not been serviced since it was installed. We had factory reps out to the site a number of times only to tel them it would not work the way thay wanted it to, in closing a hot yoga studio should cost about $25,000- $30,000 dollars installed not $7,500.00 I do not feel that I robbed anyone. Read up on it on line google it.

I had them come out and turn on our central air. When he had turned it on it started leaking. I asked him to fix it, he came back and said I just needed some more R22, so he added more R22. After he left, it started to leak again a second time, and he came out the third time and told me to call the company who had installed the unit who had done it four years early. I called the company who installed it and they said that the problem wasn't what he told me, it wasn't even the R22 and said that he could have easily fixed it. I called him back and he said he would refund my check to him because he didn't fix it. He never did refund it. I just want people to be aware of their services. I don't think that he should be able to service air conditioning units if he is not capable of finding out the problem after 3 times of looking at the unit.

WE DID NOT INSTALL HER SYSTEM. SHE HAS NO SERVICE CONTRACT, WE GOT A CALL THAT WATER WAS LEAKING THROUGH HER CEILING. WE WENT OUT & 2 WEEKS LATER AGAIN. THERE WAS WATER LINE RUNNING ACROSS HER CEILING. THE LEAK WAS TRACED TO HER ATTIC TO A RUSTY DUCT LINE WET WHERE THE CEILING WAS WET. THE DRAIN EXITS IN THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE HOUSE AND NOT NEAR THE WET SPOTS AT ALL. WE TOOK A PICTURE AND SHOWED HER AND TOLD HER TO CALL THE INSTALLERS. SHE SAID THEY DID THE JOB MOONLIGHTING WITHOUT A LICENSE OR PERMIT. I FEEL SHE WAS LOOKING FOR A SCAPEGOAT TO GET HER CEILING PAINTED. I AM CONFIDENT IN MY TROUBLESHOOTING ABILITIES AND STAND BY THE WAY WE HANDLED HER CALL. SHE REPORTED ME TO BBB AND I WAS ABSOLVED OF ANY WRONG DOING. SHE MADE A MISTAKE HIRING UNLICENSED INSTALLERS WITH NO PERMIT AND THEN TRIED TO SHIFT THE BLAME ON ME. DUANE, D & D METAL WORKS, INC.
