Excellent. In August our condo association had the exterior of the building painted and in this process the painters loosened all of the light fixtures but did not reattach them after they were done. I waited for our property management company to hire someone to remedy this problem but after 3 months of not getting a response I contacted Lou at Handyman Matters and explained what I needed done. We were able to schedule someone to come out that Friday and now my light fixtures are securely attached to the building. I will certainly be considering Handyman Matters for upcoming projects such as having some dry wall repaired as well as putting in wood floors.

I have retired so I left the decision on who to use in somebody else's hand but as far as their responsiveness in doing the estimate they were A plus. I will use them again in the future.

Handyman Matters of Rhode Island were the second contractors I hired as the first one couldn’t do it. They got it done and it was just fine. They were excellent. I would use them again in the future.

I got immediate response when first inquired about service. Both the office manager and the owner were eager to answer my questions and review the work in question. The finished cost was within dollars of the original qoute with no surprise. The workers called when they were travelling to the site and always arrived on time. The paint prep and all the work on the roof was very good. I am slightly dissappointed with the application and final results of the finish coat of the paint on the porch. I would call this company for future work with the possible exception of painting. I will repeat that unlike many contractors this company was above most for meeting projected timelines and accurately pricing work.

The Handyman arrived, discussed the job with me, took time to make sure that the position of the grab bars would suit my 92 year old mother (had her sit on her shower chair in the tub and demonstrate where she would want a grab bar). He then went to the nearest home improvement store to buy the grab bars and shower rod, called from the store to inform me that one of my finish choices was available only as a custom order and to discuss options with me, returned back to the house and promptly went to work. Removed the shower doors and informed me that there would be an additional charge to take them away, Installed two grab bars in the tub enclosure, curtain rod and cleaned up afterward. Installed the grab bar in the den. He was professional, courteous, and more than patient with my ten year old miniature schnauzer!

I am thrilled with the results. The craftsman stayed late so that he could finish the job in a single day, which was a big bonus for me. He was a professional and a very nice guy who did the job as if it were his house. The floor is beautiful and everything was left very neat. I will definitely use this service again.

I spent about $350 on that service. The individual that did the work was very thorough, professional, and conscientious. He did what a good carpenter should do in terms of measuring twice and cutting and I was very pleased with the overall result. The price might have been a little bit high.

We haven't decided who we are going to go with yet but he was very nice. He was very professional. He came right out when he said he was going to come. I asked him to email me a written estimate which he did. He explained everything well. We will consider using him very soon if the other estimates are not good.

I needed some odd jobs done around the house and called Handyman Matters. From my initial phone call until the job was done I was quite pleased with every aspect of this company. They installed a new mailbox, replaced a shower head and troubleshooted an issue with an outdoor light. I absolutely will call them again when I have more work for them to do. Our service man was prompt, personal and professional.

from start to finish went smoothly Estimate was provided for the services we were requesting, no upsell Price was lower than all other competitors that bid ( there were a total of 3 bids) On the day of the work 2 company pros showed up on time and went right to work. The fence went up quickly and perfectly with no hassle and before leaving these guys cleaned up the job site like it never even happened great work , done quickly on time and at a great price what more could you ask for....we will use them again

Paul the craftsman that did the work primarily on the deck was prompt, knowledgeable and very good at what he does. He listened and communicated well as to issues relative to construction or supplies. He and his team made multiple trips to Lowe's and the lumber yard to ensure the right materials were received. The project finished in about 7 days (there were a few rainy periods which slowed the progress. The deck is beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned.

They were very reliable. They let me know what they were talking about. They were here on time. My overall experience with Handyman matters was top quality. Lou was great and very accommodating and helped me through a new process with a bathroom addition to my first home. I was very pleased with the service and work preformed. The staff was exceptional and finished all the work within the time schedule given. I have no complaints. My new bathroom looks fantastic, as well as my new floors. Lou was always available when I called or had a question and was more than willing to explain the process and help me out with any questions that arose. Most importantly, I felt I was treated fairly and not taken advantage of as a single women going through this process. I am very pleased and feel blessed and recommend Handyman Matters to anyone looking for a general contractor. Thank you Lou and staff!!!! Enjoy your summer.

The gentleman that came out was really nice and very knowledgeable. My husband met with him and he had a really positive impression of them. We didn't end up using them for the work because we have a real handyman, who is a one-man kind of shop, and he could do the work for a little less. The price wasn't a huge difference but it was enough for us to go in that direction. He conducted himself in a very professional way and we had confidence that if we had selected him the job would have been done right. He was early for the appointment.

The only word I can use is fantastic, I did not have a worry in the world. I will refer them to all of my friends.

They gave me an estimate and the price I paid was within that estimate. They showed up to do the work. I am using them again.

Timely, efficient and professional ! That's how we describe the work performed by Handyman Matters. The licensed, master electrician was especially detailed as he centered our billiard light over the pool table taking into consideration the measurements of the table but the room as well. It came out perfect. The ceilings look brand new! A wonderful experience. We will call them again, soon.

these guys were quick, neat, quick responding, always on time, and just did what they told us they were going to do. there was never a delay or excuses. why I didn't use them the first time is beyond me.

The work was started on time and completed on time. It was completed to our exact specifications. Crew was polite, worked hard, and was very responsive to any requests we made. The finished product was high quality. All the details were taken care of.

It was a great experience. They identified what needed to be done, obtained the necessary material from the local lumber yard and installed and primed the new trim pieces. Look as good as new. Cannot tell that the work had been done. Very satisfied.

Handyman Matters was absolutely wonderful. On a Friday afternoon before a holiday, they responded to our last minute call. Ray took the time to come out right away and make sure that our first floor door could close. This was certainly a small project for his business, but from a security point of view, it was of extremely high value to us. We have used Handyman Matters in the past and are continually impressed by the quality and timeliness of the work done, the professionalism of the staff (including Cheryl, the master scheduler and point of contact), and the company's willingness to handle jobs of varying size and complexity. Handyman Matters' response in this instance sealed our already positive opinion of the company and its commitment to its customers.

He did an outstanding job. He put up the sheet rock, tile and flooring and we bought all of the materials. I thought the price was reasonable for what he did. We have another bathroom we'd like to redo so we are planning on having him come back, plus I have referred him to others.
