Description of Work: We had an excavation done for a sewer pipe. The hole was in the middle of a walkway used by tenants. The hole was filled in, but resurfacing was required. Greater than 90 days elapsed before I could get the contractors back to replace asphalt walkway. I had to deal with many tenant complaints.

Description of Work: Sewer pipe repair in the street. It was an emergency as we had no use of sewer/water at the house. We were quoted a price on Thurs. and told they would be there on Friday. They did not appear and responded that they told me they would "try to be there" on Friday. We had the weekend with no water. They came and completed the job on Monday. We received a bill for twice the amount quoted. When asked about this, I was told that they price for only to bring the equipment to the site but did not include labor. Is that absurd? Lesson learned!
