Locally, Joe has been elected twice as President of the Narragansett Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Lion’s Club for more than 30 years, serving as its chairman for the Blessing of the Fleet for six consecutive years and chairing campaigns for the Heart Fund, Cancer Fund, United Way and Meeting Street School charities, together with numerous other philanthropic causes. Joe is a graduate of the School of Business at the University of Rhode Island and maintains a degree in Management and a minor in Marketing and Industrial Engineering. Involvement in his alma mater allowed Joe to serve for more than 20 years to present on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the URI Foundation and a member of the Investment and Chairman of its Real Estate Committee. My interactions with them were great! I actually developed a kinship with the realtor through the process of finding the right house. We had specific perimeters for our new house and our realtor just nailed it!
