From the initial call to Westview Plumbing and Heating Inc. through the completion of the work done, my experience with this company was excellent. The response time to my call was quick. I called in the evening and was told that I would be receiving a call in the morning, which I did. Steve, who called back, said someone would be coming that day about 8:00 A.M. Matt, the plumber, arrived on time. He was friendly and professional and got to work right away. 2.5 hours later the work was completed to my great satisfaction. The fee charged for that work was most fair, considering what had to be done and how well it was done. I highly recommend Westview Plumbing and will not hesitate to call this company again for future plumbing jobs.
Description of Work: Replaced a section of leaking copper water line and installed a shutoff valve.

Labor intensive repair so parts cost were negligible so job cost reflected it. Westview didn't inflate the cost of parts to increase their profit. Cost of the repair was about what was expected with almost all the cost being for labor.

We have been calling to get help for two days, going on three. Our boiler is out. Westview Plumbing and Heating of Middletown, RI, who installed the unit, won't answer our repeated calls--seven in two days. We get an answering service: pleasant women tell us that the company will call us back. No one has, and we are beginning to get angry and desperate. I repeat: we have no heat or hot water, and we are old people. I am almost 79; my wife is 67. I have the impression that it is illegal to disregard people our age. If we don't get some satisfaction quickly, we shall complain to a friend who is Speaker of the State Senate, Teresa Piva Weed. I don't think Westview wants that sort of black mark, especially a black mark with Angie's List. Please help. As I say, we are cold and desperate. Thank You, Robert W. The work was solid. The plumber was professional. The quote was accurate for the time required. I believe it couldn't have been done better by anyone. Our neighbor, who is a contractor was impressed. Thank you to Steve, the owner and to Matt, as well. Job well done!
Description of Work: Over the past 10 years we have used numerous plumbers. None of them compare to the outstanding work done by Westview Plumbing. We had a complex job which required re-routing old plumbing in our renovated 1928 cottage. Matt arrived on time and set to reworking a tangle of pipes and drains - a mixture of plastic, steel and copper materials. He was focused, meticulously clean and efficient.
