Sterling Lawn & Landscape

Sterling Landscaping did an outstanding job on my yard. It had been neglected for awhile and they offered to stay extra at a reasonable price to get everything it needed done. I was shocked when I saw how fantastic it looked and all that was accomplished. My brick patio was buried under weeds and now it looks like new. I was so impressed I signed up for their regular maintenance plan and was extremely relieved when they were able to shovel me out of the last snow storm despite having worked 20 hours straight. Christian and his crew are amazing.

We called for an appointment and he promptly came the next day and spent almost an hour with me. Hew was to emial or call me back with his proposal and cost structure and I have not heard from nor seen him since. I did leave an email message on his website asking him where he was and I still haven't heard.

I found them on Angie's List and I liked them so far. So far, so good. I picked them because they responded right away. They have an email and a phone. They're more professional. It's worth paying a little more to get somebody who's responsive. They come in their uniforms and they're professional in dealing with clients.

They went very well. He was very good. We're not currently using them because of the distance where they have to travel. We just went with somebody local this year but they were very good. They were very professional, they were young. They did a nice job. We were very satisfied with what they did. I found their price a little high but not bad.

It went just fair with Sterling Lawn & Landscape. They are extremely difficult to get a hold of. They are poor in terms of timeliness in terms of getting back to me, it's just bad communication. The work that they did was fine but it was very difficult to get them to actually come and do the work.

This was a "big deal" which advertised $149 for 4 Hours of Landscaping/Yard Clean-up. When I contacted the provider about the job, I informed him I just needed them to pick up branches and twigs throughout the yard and cart them away. He explained that carting away was not part of the service and that, apparently, that was in the fine print of the "big deal." It may have been, I never checked. He wanted several hundred more dollars to cart the waste away. I do think it is misleading to advertise as "clean up" if removing the waste is not included. I ended up just telling him to stack the waste in a pile and we would take care of getting it hauled. Then, it took a very long time to get him to schedule the job. Perhaps without the extra fees, it was no longer an economically attractive prospect. Who knows? We were waiting on him to finish this job so someone else could do grass seeding on the property and it was an inconvenience to us to have to put off the other job until he finally got around to this one. We ended up having to threaten to ask Angie's list for a refund in order to get him to do the job. (Incidentally, if he had done a good job on the clean up, the seeding job would have gone to him as well.) I will say that once he did the job (without the carting away), it was thoroughly done.

They are excellent!! I needed landscaping done on a completely neglected property. They were busy, but were wonderful at squeezing me in when they had a few spare hours so that when they could commit full days, they finished the job really quickly. They did an outstanding job making the property look cared for and maintained. They were very reasonably priced and were very clear about their estimate and stuck to it. They were great to work with.

I asked Sterling to clean the dog yard, trim all the shrubbery, and remove the debris. He cleaned the dog yard thoroughly; neatly trimmed the shrubbery there and all around the house; and carefully collected and hauled away the cut branches. All told, I was extremely pleased with the outcome: Christian is honest, likeable, does a good job, and charges a fair price. I recommend him highly for quality yard care.

I had arranged for two hours, of landscaping work through an Angie's List special, but the gentleman from Sterling finished the needed service with time to spare, and did a thorough job of removing debris and cleaning up. I was very pleased with the results.

This person was very good and the only reason I did not use him was that the quote from another company was lower. He was very professional and came right away. I think his price was good but I had gotten a better one. He is a nice young man.

Christian called me and told me what he could do for the $149 special and told me he would be there next week. He showed up next week just as promised and delivered more than promised. I was so impressed that I hired him as my landscaper

We use them at our home and our rental home. They are reasonably priced.

This is a small firm run by a young smart guy- URI grad who knows his stuff and is very professional and courteous. I prefer him to the collection of overpriced and careless companies that seem to dominate the landscaping industry on Aquidneck Island.

Christian Sullivan is the owner of the company and he does snow removal and landscaping. I spent $150 on that service. It has been very good so far. He is very conscientious and he is young and it is like a start up business. He always comes through with everything. I continue to use him because he is reliable, cares and has a lot of knowledge about landscaping.
