uThe scheduled delivery and installation date was only a few days after purchase. The price was higher than discount stores, but the service was outstanding. The installation of the wall mount bracket was extremely difficult (lathe-and-horsehair-plaster on wallpaper) but they did a great job in a tight space and cleaned up the mess afterward. I went back by the store a couple of hours after installation with a question about the mount, and noticed that the TV I'd bought was on sale for $100 less that day -- when I pointed it out, I was immediately given a $100 credit on my bill. There is no question I would use Flint again when making a purchase that requires installation. We are very satisfied and use the equipment daily.

They certainly did a good job and they were very good. The salesman was very knowledgeable, he offered suggestions, it wasn't just go to the high end price range. He offered some suggestions, he asked questions and so from the sales side, that was very positive experience. From the installation side, the tech that they sent over were very good, very professional, very polite, were able to get the job done the first time, didn't have to come back 16 times to adjust things so they were both very good. From the audio side, the sound system, the fellow they sent over the first time really wasn't that good, actually he basically said this is more complicated that he's capable of handling which I thought was great but he didn't just leave the drop and he had one of the senior tech come over and I trust the senior technician they sent the second time. It was actually a pleasure to talk to him, he's very knowledgeable, very new computers, and he knows how to hook it up to the systems in the house. One example is he came in the house, took his shoes off because he didn't want to get the rug dirty, I mean that's the level of politeness that he really done off and see and he's actually had great conversations about different things that could be part of the music system, he showed me some shortcuts, did tune-up on the computer and it was really great. It's one winded explanation but they did a great job. I bought the stuff on sale so I wouldn't say it was the cheapest one.

I paid $50 for pick up, and the return of TV when repairs where made. TV was shipped to a Panasonic shop in Conn. They contacted me and informed me it would cost about $500 to repair. I informed them to send the TV back to Flint. After serveral months I did not hear from them and called them. They indicated they tried to call me several times and got no answer They then informed me theunit was in their warehouse and since they did not hear from me they destroyed the TV. I told them I had an answering system and there is always the mail to inform me of the status. They never returned my E mail. I can not understand how they can destroy some one property. I feel I should be compensated in some way for my loss of the TV and the $50. I paid $4500 for the TV 5 years ago.

Unfortunately I am just noticing this 2 years after your post. I can assure you that after being in business for over 26 years we do not just "throw away" customers televisions. We receive 2-3 televisions in for repair a day and do not receive complaints about our service department. Could it be that after you received an estimate that was too high you let the set sit in our warehouse for months without communication? You waited several months to call? How long is a company responsible for storing your broken TV that the estimate was declined? I think an "F" grade is a little extreme.
