Joshua did great work. He responded promptly to our inquiry about the the job, offered several possibilities and answered all our questions. He is a skilled carpenter and the deck and landing look beautiful and are much more functional. We would definitely hire him him again.

Everything went as planned and was very easy. Josh sent me a quote quickly, at a fair price, and when I said we’d move forward he gave me a date when he would be here that was firm, unlike some contractors who can give you an approximate date at best. He showed up at the time planned and competed all work as was planned. It looks great! I hope to have him come back to do more work for us in the future!

We couldn't be happier with the work Josh did. We had an old, run down mud room attached to the back of our house. Josh took down the old structure and replaced it with something that blends seamlessly with the rest of the house. We would highly recommend Josh and look forward to hiring him in the future.

Joshua is a complete professional, from the contract for services, to showing up on time everyday, to the quality of the work that was performed, I couldn't have been more satisfied. I have worked with numerous contractors on the several houses I have owned, and I can say that my experience with Joshua was one of the best. I highly recommend him for any contracting job.

It went great. Josh replaced three rotted-out porch columns with new pressure-treated columns and replaced the front porch roof gutter. Everything looked great until two days later when another company ignored my instructions and dented the new gutter on me with a ladder. Not happy with them, but my experience with Josh was great, and hopefully he'll be available to come back and fix what they damaged.

It took almost a week and a half because Josh did this project alone (with addition of plumber and electrician when necessary). Time was not of the essence for us, however, and we were very pleased with the results.

The work went well, i called him about 3 weeks in advance to take the measurement of my door. He came to my house the day after to measure the door and storm door and basement staircases. I went to lowes and special order the door. Once the door and storm door came in; i call Josh and he was able to fit me in his schedule 3 to 4 days after. He came in at 830 am over that day with another person helping, got the job done( new door, new storm door, fix door framing, new staircases support and railing in the basement which was recommended when we first bought the house. He was very professional and clean after himself. He told me to call him if there are any issues.

The deck and shed were rebuilt in a timely manner and it was built very well. Deck was built with composite boards and new footings. The quality of the materials and the work was exceptional. Josh knew that I was not at the property so he sent me pictures of the work progress often. He used email, text messages and the phone to communicate with me. When he ran into issues, he would notify me right away and tell me what he was going to do to fix the issues. He cleaned up the work area very well and repaired damages to the lawn from the concrete truck without me pointing it out and asking about it. I think it is great to be able to trust someone to do the work well and not have to go back and check on the quality or to see if anything was damaged. The work was great and well worth the cost paid. He is a bit more expensive than some other companies, but it is because of the work quality and the quality of materials. I will use this company again for any other work I have come up.

Very well, about as smooth as you can hope for. Josh is very upfront and professional. He is dependable and takes pride in his work. He ensures that the work is done right and he does not cut corners. I went over my planned budget, but the room is much better than I expected, so I am pleased.

We had multiple contractors come in to view the bathroom and share thoughts on how to approach the project, which entailed demo all the way down to studs and floorboards. Josh was, by far, the contractor with the most confidence and creativity in taking on the project, and was better than even we were with keeping in touch with updates and questions on how to proceed. The final product was high-quality, and we are extremely pleased with Josh's work ethic and communication.

Josh and his team were exceptional. We had two decks and Josh came by looked everything over made some recommendations on ways to save some money and then a provided a no hassle quote. We decided to go with him and we are extremely pleased with the results. His attention to detail was excellent, he took his time to do things right and went out of his way to correct some errors in the structure that they previous builders did incorrectly when it was first built. Josh takes great pride in the work he does and it shows in the finished product. I will definitely be using Josh again in the future.

Perfect. Josh completed a complete home renovation two months ahead of schedule, with great attention to detail to make our home beautiful. I am very busy, he made it easy to pick finished when I wanted or defer to him just the same and we were happy with everything! He advised us on best products and projects while keeping in mind our budget. Above and beyond service and craftsmanship! Highly recommend. We plan to hire him back to build a deck.

Joshua Olean runs an extremely professional business. He listened to my concerns, he assured me that he would take care of all my problems; and he did just that! The job took approximately two weeks to complete (some down time due to weather) however, the job was completed on time and as scheduled. I am very pleased with the outcome of the vinyl siding and the wood work and I would recommend Joshua to my friends and family.

The project worked like clockwork. From the initial quote to the clean-up, everything was totally professional and exceptional. The job was quickly completed. Joshua used quality materials and exceeded our expectations in his craftsmanship. He suggested using composite, more durable materials in certain areas of the repair that would help with durability and prevent rot in the future. He installed these at no extra cost. As far as aesthetics go, the result was superb! The house never looked so good and his carpentry abilities and attention to detail are very apparent. The new vertical cedar siding he installed was stained to match the rest of the house and the door trim was carefully painted. Beautiful result! You have a winner here in Joshua Olean Carpentry. Josh came over and gave me a fair price for the work that needed to be done. He did the job in 2 days. He came with another colleague and was very professional. He gave me a detailed contract and provided me with an electrician option if I choose to. I did choose to go with the electrician he provided me with and he was very professional also. I am very satisfied of the job he did, he cleaned up after he was done and I will definitely hire him again.

Josh and crew showed up when they said they would. Work was done quickly and well. Very satisfied.

Every morning they were here on time ready to work. The finished right with the expected timeline and the estimate was right on. The work looks wonderful and we are so happy with our new space. We were very happy to have been referred to Josh and will definitely be calling him in the future.

Josh was prompt and professional throughout the project. He was very helpful with the design and areas that required solutioning. There were several things wrong with the old deck and the finished product exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Josh to others and hire him again for other projects.

Did not use his service quote was way too high. Maybe he does do good work but cost too much.
