So happy with Mallozzi Electric. Gary responded right away, stayed in contact with updates and showed up when he said (actually early!) He went above and beyond for me, and helped out tremendously. The work was fantastic, he is now my go to electrician for all my projects.

Time will tell if the lighting arrester works, but Gary appeared knowledgeable and he was prompt.

I needed someone to install my microwave above my stove. None of the other electricians I spoke with were willing to give me a price range and I understand why, however I needed to know how I should budget and move my money. When I contacted Mallozzi Electric, I was able to get a range of prices and an appointment right away. Gary came to the house a little early and completed the work ahead of his original estimate. I'm impressed with how quick and professional he was. I will definitely contact him again should I need any additional work done in my home.

Excellent service! Gary Mallozzi provided advice over the phone for items the Electric Company should update/fix. When that didn't resolve issue, Gary did thorough review of our system identified issue and provided cost estimate. Once we scheduled work, showed up on time, explained work done and finished ahead of schedule. Can't say enough good things about Mallozzi Electric. They are the first call I make for all electrical needs!

We were lucky to find this company and to call on a day that he had some time available. Gary provides great service. He was on time and careful with his work. He made sure that we liked the height of the fixture and that we were happy. He left the room clean and even vacuumed. He is bright, knowledgeable, and personable. It was a pleasure having him in our home and we will be glad to call him again.

After my deck was built, I needed an outdoor outlet installed; I had one originally, but it needed to be removed during construction. I contacted Gary for this work and mentioned it was not urgent. Gary responded to my request within a week's time. We discussed the outlet and a couple of other projects I wanted done: fixing a porch light and adding outdoor security lighting. I asked Gary for a "worst-case scenario" quote so I could financially and mentally prepare, which he was able to roughly provide. We scheduled the work for when he was next available, which was about 2 weeks later. The morning of the job, he called saying he was going to be a bit late because he needed to stop by the East side to help someone who woke up with no power. I mention this because many of the reviews I read commented on how prompt and responsive Gary was when they had an emergency, and though I did not have an emergency, I can confirm what the reviews say. I was working from home, so the delay was not a problem. Gary showed up about an hour later; we quickly toured my property, and reviewed the projects I wanted done. He went right to work and he completed everything in about 5 hours. Considering all the work he did, I was expecting more than the "worst-case scenario" quote. I was pleasantly surprised when it came well-below. I was able to pay by credit card, and Gary went on his way. Because Gary is reliable, professional, organized, and efficient, I would absolutely hire him again for future projects, and I would recommend him to anyone in the area who needed an electrician, whether it is for an emergency, or a routine project.

Good job! It was a frustrating job with some faulty parts, but he kept his cool and finished the job.

I needed outdoor electrical work done ASAP, and Gary responded quickly and fit me into his busy schedule. The work was done efficiently, and they even fixed a broken switch in my bathroom that I didn’t know was broken! Highly recommend!

The power went out in a few plugs and a few lights in a tenant's unit. I checked the circuit breaker and nothing had tripped. I called a few places around during that Saturday. Mallozzi Electric returned my phone call the same day and came by that night to check out the problem. There were two circuits with crossed negatives. You had to turn off two circuit breakers to get the power to turn off properly. He was able to diagnose the issue and fix it. He also ran a new circuit for us to avoid a possible fire in the future

If I could give a higher grade than A, I would! Gary has done several jobs for me over the years, and when I had a few items come up that needed to be addressed, I reached out. He responded to my inquiry immediately, even though it was a weekend, spoke to me several times as we worked through the repairs, and was at my house able to assist before I knew it. I can't recommend him highly enough for responsiveness, customer service, and workmanship.

I would definitely recommend! I sent an inquiry through their website, received a response within a day and had an appointment for two days later. They are very responsive and took the time to explain everything. I will certainly use them again.

Gary was on time and got right to work. He pulled the old box and I stepped in to add insulation and a pre-cut mounting board. I had marked all the wires and asked Gary to group the kitchen related electric together. Finished job looks great. I would recommend Gary anytime.

Called Gary and described the problem. He said he could come out and look at the panel, but suggested having the power company check the service drop from the pole first. He explained that was quite possibly the problem, and that would be no charge by the power company, while if he came out there would be a charge, and the service drop might be the problem anyway. Took his advice, and that resolved the problem. Thanks for the help, Gary!

He called back the same day and was able to get me next day. Was a pleasure to work with, and I would defantly hire him again for any elertical needs. I defantly liked the face that he is the owner/operator of the company, I liked the persoanl touch rather than some of the bigger companies out there. Job Well done

Gary was very professional and punctual. He was very easy to get in touch with and was able to work around our busy schedule to find a time that was convenient for both of us. The work he did was great - he added electrical to a space that did not previously have anything. He gave us an abundance of outlets throughout the space and added dimmable recessed lighting. Not only did the electrical work look great, there was no mess left over from all of the work he did. Overall, I would highly recommend Mallozzi Electric to others. I already have another project in mind that will require adding lighting to another room in our house and I will definitely use Gary again.

Gary from Mallory electric did is great job. He picked up his phone when I called and was able to give me a clear date for when the work can be done and how long it would take. Gary arrived on time the day of the job. Gary is a very neat and clean electrician. He cleaned up after himself while and was working and if I wasn’t home I would have even know he was there. Mallozi electric was great and I will be hiring them for more jobs in the future.

Mallozzi Electric did quite a bit of work on my home. I hired them based on Angie's List recommendations. Over 60% of my house had knob and tube which I had replaced. This was a tedious, time consuming job, no matter how it is done. Gary tackled one room at time. I would clear the room, cover items that could not be easily moved, and then Gary would cut small notches in the wall and ceiling where necessary. Where possible he accessed items through the attic or basement to minimize disruption. The notches are about half the size of a deck of cards. The goal was to run new wiring where needed and then rough patch the notches. As Gary would work through a room he would ask if I wanted anything changed, especially if the current setup no longer made sense. My house was built in 1940, and the NEC today is vastly different, so I had him make changes as he went along. Depending upon the amount changes and the difficulty of a given room it took about 2 days per room on average. Additionally, I had my service upgraded from 100 to 200 AMPs and had my circuits split-up to better meet the current NEC. Since he was upgrading the service I had add a Sense energy monitor installed which is very interesting if you would like to know more about your energy consumption. All in all the job took about 2 months keeping in mind some weeks he worked other jobs. Gary was upfront about cost and there were no monetary surprises. Gary was on time on provide me with a reasonable schedule about the weeks he was able to work on my home. If he was running a bit late he would let me know and was responsive with regards to communication. His quote was detailed and he stuck to it.

Gary Mallozzi is experienced, friendly, amenable and very informative. He has been here a few times in the past and the work holds. My new laundry electrical installation of 2017 is still working well, totally satisfied, In 2018, he recently helped me contact National Grid to come and perform work.

Gary said the recessed lighting cans in the kitchen were too small for the space. He removed 6 of them and replaced them with larger fixtures. He also cleaned up and hauled away the old lighting. The new lighting has made a huge difference and we are very happy with the outcome. This is the second time we have used this company and wouldn’t hesitate to use the, again.

Gary installed 2 outlets and upgraded an outdoor switch. He explained everything in detail. We have already booked him for another job
