Mallozzi Electric

It went well. As I said, the problem had been accurately diagnosed. We got a reasonable quote for the extent and difficulty of the work at hand. Scheduling the work to be done was no problem. They showed up on time and the work went without a hitch. Everyone was courteous and friendly and very communicative about the work being done, how it was being done, future issues that might arise (we live in an old house... there are always problems on the horizon). During the walk-through after the work was finished, an issue was discovered and it was quickly fixed.

We will have the panel and all else l replaced in the Spring. And I have no qualms about Mallozzi Electric doing the job, and doing it the right way. For customer service you cannot beat these Gentlemen! Amazing that they actually came out on such short notice, and even more amazing that they fixed the issue, and at a reasonable cost. With customer service being what it is nowadays, I am thrilled that these guys are in business! Thank you!!!! Mallozzi was the only electrician who was even willing to consider doing work in the attic during the summer - everyone else just said they weren't interested in the job. We had our roof replaced and during the process, some old wiring in the attic was destroyed, and the fuse had to be turned off until it was repaired. He came, did the job quickly and well. We were very pleased.

I could not have asked for more outstanding service!! A+++ Mallozzi Electric returned my phone call within 10 min after I left the message, and came to do the service a few hours later! Gary Mallozzi was efficient, thorough, and friendly. He quickly identified the problem, fixed it, double checked the outlet to make sure it was fixed, and explained to me why the problem occurred so I could prevent it from happening again. Now I can hang my holiday lights! I am especially grateful for Gary Mallozzi's responsiveness. Over the past few weeks I contacted 3 different electricians (not including Mallozzi) who were given A ratings on Angie's List, but none of them returned my calls (so frustrating). I recently bought my home, and this the first time I have needed electrical work. I am so excited to have found a dependable electrician, and I will certainly call Mallozzi for any future issues that arise.

Everything went well and work was performed in a timely, professional manner.

They responded quickly and got me into their schedule quickly. Showed up promptly, explained the cause of the problem, and replaced the faulty switch. Also explained how the switch might have become faulty and possible prevention. The $200 charge for a service visit seemed a bit steep to me, but on the other hand it's been several years since I've had to call in an electrician so I can't be sure. Very pleased with the prompt, courteous, professional service.

It was hard getting them to come after they quoted the job. They finally came after several calls. The two technicians that came out were professional, and did excellent work. I would hire them again if they would meet their own schedule

There was a huge flood in my basement after the sewer pipe broke. Walls and a built in bar had to be removed. After all the clean up was done, I went down to start organizing what was left, I noticed a wire hanging to the floor where the bar had been. I was afraid it might be live. Electricity is not something I mess with. I read the reviews for several electricians who received "A" ratings on Angie's list. (I never hire someone without checking Angie's List.) When I read the reviews for Mallozzi I was impressed to see that people not only were satisfied with their work, but also felt their cost to be reasonable. While other companies were given great reviews for their work, they rarely received an "A" for cost. I also believe firmly in supporting locally owned businesses. I contacted Mallozzi on Friday and left a message. Gary returned my call in short order and I explained the problem. I didn't feel that the problem was an emergency since I did not plan to go near the wire until it had been taken care of. He said he had a cancellation for first thing Monday morning which worked fine for me. Gary called about 20 minutes before they arrived and he and his brother arrived on time. I explained that my insurance company wanted to know the scope and cost of what they were going to do. Gary said he'd only charge me for the service call which was yet another thing that impressed me. Where insurance is concerned, I know prices are sometimes inflated. Gary said that he was going to cut the wire but leave it in a box in the ceiling in case it was needed again. He reminded me to take pictures for the insurance and said he would be glad to talk to them if they wanted. While Gary was taking care of the wire, his brother was checking the circuit breaker box over and the light sockets. He discovered a "warped" piece in the circuit box and fixed that. The only additional charge was $5 for the part. I was so impressed with Mallozzi Electric, I spoke with Gary after he finished about several other electrical tasks I was thinking of doing. Again, I was impressed that Gary actually talked me out of hard wiring the smoke detectors and putting an electric outlet in the garage because of the high cost. I do plan to have them take care of putting in outside outlets, rewiring my security lights, and moving the electrical outlet in the laundry area and bringing it up to code. I would not hesitate to call Mallozzi Electric for any future electrical needs. Both Gary and his brother were friendly and professional. It is obvious they take their work seriously and treat customers fairly.

A landscaper accidentally cut the grounding wire to my electrical meter box outside, and Gary came and reground it and piped it into the ground so that this would not happen again. He was prompt and professional. While he was here, he also installed a motion detector light which was not part of the initial call, but an afterthought, and I appreciate he did the extra work. I would definitely recommend Mallozzi Electric to my friends, and would use them again in the future.

The experience was first class from start to finish. A conflict arose with the date of service originally scheduled, but it was worked out once we explained we had to have the work done on Friday 8/7 because Cox was coming on Saturday 8/8 to set up our cable. The work was done very professionally, and neatly. By that I mean they cleaned up the work area completely and he plastered over the holes necessary to snake the wire through so well you can barely tell anything was done there. The lines they laid work perfectly, and because of that we have a nice, clean signal coming into our home office. I would definitely, without hesitation, hire this company again.

Gary and his team were professional, courteous and competent. They did a great job and were very neat (considering all the drilling and snaking of wires). I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks guys for a great job.

I was very pleased with the work Gary and his brother did. The work itself was excellent and they were polite and conscientious. After a misunderstanding regarding the day of their arrival, Gary was very apologetic and offered a discount to make up for the error. I definitely recommend them and will certainly look to them again for future electrical work.

Gary answered the phone right away which was great, nowadays all you get is a message machine! I told him we were without power in our bedroom and living room. He came in between jobs ( I didn't expect that) on the same day I called. He even came even earlier than he said he could. Gary was very polite ,very knowledgeable, and totally professional!!! One day before we were supposed to leave for vacation, we woke to find the entire front wall of our home had no power. We attempted to fix it ourselves (trust me, I now understand what they mean when they say "don't try this at home." We made it worse! In a panic, we searched Angie's list for an electrician. We lucked out in a big way. Off of the list, we chose MALLOZZI ELECTRIC. What a fantastic experience! I cannot say enough good things about the gentlemen from Mallozzi's. They responded to my telephone call immediately and, they were at my home in no time. They quickly diagnosed the problem. They fixed what we had messed up without so much as a look of exasperation! (Thanks for that guys!) They then fixed the original cause of the problem quickly and efficiently. Considering the circumstances, another company might have taken advantage and overcharged us. Mallozzi's price was fair to the point of being inexpensive. They were completely trustworthy. They actually left the areas that they worked in cleaner than they found them! (Sorry about the dust behind the TV guys! My bad!) We never could have left for vacation knowing there was an electrical problem in our home. Thanks to Mallozzi Electric, we were able to leave with complete peace of mind. Mallozzi Electric gets an A+++++ from our family!

I contact the provider, outlined the problem and asked for a house call to check out the problem with my kitchen lights. He indicated a willingness to help me and said he would try to work my job in at the end of his day and if necessary would come on a Saturday. By the next week he was calling to set up a time, faster than I thought possible. He arrived and got to work checking out the problem and soon had a solution. He had said the minimum charge of a call was $200 but he only charged $150 given the fact that he quickly got the lights working. In reading about Mallozzi Electric I was impressed that it ws a family run business with superior ratings. I couldn't be happier with every aspect of the experience.

It was a relief to have a contractor who understands the importance of customer service, communication, and responsiveness. Too many contractors fail, miserably, in this respect. Gary & his brother did quick, efficient, and effective work on this project. They kept in good communication with me during the scheduling process, they showed up on time, and followed up w/ me, afterward to ensure I was happy with everything. Exceptional!

We lost power in several rooms due on Sunday afternoon (Father's Day). We looked up Mallozzi Electric on Angie's List and called them and were very appreciative to be able to speak with Gary directly instead of having to leave a message or talk to an answering service. Gary and his brother Americo came first thing the next morning. They kept us updated on what needed to be done to correct the problem and had the job done within a few hours. They were professional and courteous. We will definitely use Mallozzi Electric again and will recommend them to family and friends.

I took out a home repair loan through Rhode Island Housing and they require tons of paperwork. I'm doing a bunch of work at my house so responsiveness has been of great importance when working with 7 different contractors. I reached out to Gary for a quote and he was able to come out to the house to checkout what needed to be done. He provided a quote in a few days and was always available via text to answer any questions. He provided all the necessary paperwork pretty quickly to do the work before 6/6 as I was having a ductless system installed and needed the upgraded panel before that was done. The day of the job, Gary was able to provide an extension cord to provide power to keep the internet on as I was working from home that day. They completed the work efficiently and were very professional. They showed me the old meter which was pretty rusted and fried and could of caused a fire. I'm happy the job was completed right. I would definitely use them again for electrical needs.

Even though we were a first time customer, the owner Gary, came by right away, on a Saturday morning. He was extremely polite, professional, and quickly diagnosed the problem. We were preparing ourselves for a major re-wiring of our house. Gary was honest and fixed the problem right away and saved us thousands of dollars that another contractor easily could have gotten by us without us knowing. We have found our new Electricians!
