We have had a positive experience. His work was professional, reasonably priced and competitively done. We got good quality for what we paid. The price was reasonable.

My experience with them has always been great. They are so good that they had painted my house and two years went by and they guaranteed it. It was chipping so they came, sanded and painted the whole thing. They may be a little expensive to start out but they really stand behind their work and they do a good job. I called Tim, he arranged and sent somebody to put new gutters on the back of the house. I'm just very pleased with him. He's a very reputable man and I would not hesitate to use him what so ever. He's a little higher but he is well worth it because he really stands behind and if anything is wrong he is back. He actually painted my house three times. I couldn't say enough good about him.

They were absolutely professional and were very nice people. It took them three weeks to get a proposal in. It was way too expensive but I'm sure that he is worth it. The gentleman was very pleasant, right on time, very punctual. There really wasn't anything I didn't like about him except that it was way above our head. You can tell by the contract how professional he was.

Estimator was unable to schedule an appointment for over 10 days because he "was busy". No big deal, and when finally onsite he seemed very professional and did a thorough job speaking with us about the project, taking measurements, and giving information. We stressed to him the timely need for the estimate and he agreed to email a preliminary "total cost" within a few days and the formal written proposal within a week. We were satisfied with that, however when day 8 passed with no contact we called twice (no return of our voicemails) and emailed, finally getting a brief call that he had sent it but "to the wrong email address". We corrected the address, however what came was just the preliminary "total cost" - not broken down in any way and $10k more than another estimate we got. When we then asked about the specifics of paint removal - something he specifically said could be done prior to prep/paint during the estimate - he said "no" it couldn't be done, with no further explanation of his own contradiction. We subsequently purchased the house and again reached out for the detailed job bid (based on Angie's List reviews we felt LOPCO would be a quality company to work with, even if they did charge significantly more...'you get what you pay for'?) but have never heard anything back. Shame on you LOPCO. Stop relying on quality reviews only to subsequently provide sub-par service to potential new customers. This was the worst "estimate" process I've ever been a part of and would not recommend your company to neighbors/friends/enemies looking for opinions/bids on a potential job. At least return phone calls and when YOU say you'll do something (like email a detailed job bid) by a particular day, you should really make sure you do it. It's been over 6 weeks since that "we'll get that to you within a week"...

I contacted Lopco Contracting because they had a lot of good reviews on Angie's list and I needed some exterior painting done quickly (it's a long story). They were very responsive from the first - worked with me on getting what I needed done within a reasonable cost, kept contact throughout so I knew what was going on, and did a professional and flawless job. Their crew was polite, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. They also followed up with requests I made for additional paperwork to satisfy my lender (a condition of the loan was that peeling paint be repaired within 30 days). I graded them 'B' for the price because I believe I could have had it done cheaper - but certainly not better, and certainly not within the time constraints I gave them. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in getting this painting done.

If you call them, they get back with you soon, sometimes within an hour.

Final product excellent albeit with an overall schedule much longer than expected. This was not a problem for me but could be for a customer with a limited time window for the work.

They came out when they said they would. They came right when they were scheduled to, they gave me a prompt estimate, and if I remember they were a little high. I liked them. As I said, their estimate was a little high, but it was very complete. It listed everything that they said they were going to do, they laid out the cost schedule, a payment schedule, it was very well done. Prompt, and I was pleased with it.

As stated, due to rainy weather issues, there were problems with the job that were not the fault of Lopco.

They responded to my request quickly and arrived on schedule. The estimator was friendly and knowledgeable. The quote was reasonable. I just happened to choose another company with an equally good quote.

Their pricing were really high. They were very nice and very professional. I've had no problems with them, it's just the pricing.

The cost estimator was very professional and listened to what I wanted. This is what won them the work even though they were MUCH MORE expensive than any other vendor. The crew was great. I had a large team at my house they were all very professional, very polite, answered my questions and responded when I had concerns. The work took a week. They cleaned up after themselves. No complaints. If you can afford them, then they are a great company to work with.

The quote was really high, $15,000. That was about $5000 higher than anyone else. They were prompt and professional. They included carpentry repair in the quote but I wasn't very interested in having that done.

They had done work for us on several occasions. Their price was competitive. Frankly, I liked just everything about them. I hold the proprietor in the highest regard. I have always felt that he gives us fair estimates and does a good job on the work.

Overall, the service was very good. We had several estimates from other painters to prep and paint our 90-year old stucco home that was likely not painted for 50+ years (if ever!). Needless to say, there was a fair amount of work that needed to be done. While the LOPCO estimate was slightly more expensive than another reputable contractor, Tom's professionalism throughout the process was a plus and he was true to his estimate. LOPCO took the time to do the prep work right, used quality primer, and tolerated our initial indecision about color selection. We are very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to call them again.

They were quick, efficient and reasonable in terms of the price. They were on time when they said they were going to come out for the estimate.

This was my second time to use Lopco. I received an estimate in August and accepted it. Both times I've used them, I have found that what the estimator said is not necessarily what ended up on the agreement, so be sure to take your own notes and read the agreement carefully. to be sure it is what you expected. It was November before anything transpired (power washing) and almost Thanksgiving before the work commenced. They do excellent work and I am satisfied with the finished job.

We originally contacted several painters, and got several estimates. LOPCO's was among the lowest, and we were impressed with the references and the portfolio book and his attitude. Once we decided upon using them, we were put in contact with a color coordinator/designer, who walked us through some ideas and was very helpful about helping us decide on a color scheme (which, a year or so later, we still very much like). He also made available some contractors that he uses to repair all of the trim and soffetts that had rotted. This work was done very quickly. Once the colors were decided, they went out, and purchased the paint. Before the painting began, since we have aluminum siding, particular care was taken in prepping and cleaning the siding. Once the house was dry, and the weather good, the house was painted. At every turn, the workers showed up when he said they would, and were finished when they estimated they would be finished. All communication was very prompt and positive, and the results make it look like a different house (a much nicer house). I would and actually have recommended them to local family members.

It turned out good. They were very responsive and got back to us immediatly unlike other contractors. You usually have to call other companies several times.

I have never worked with a company that has done such a great job. They are a fantastic company and I cannot say enough good things about them. He really keeps on top of things and he does very good work. He is very ethical as well and he goes beyond what he has to do just to provide great customer service.

Provided a very expensive quote when they finally responded to a request. Work was done by another painter for approximately 1/2 the cost at a very high quality.
