Description of Work: Tiled basement floor had to be broken into for plumbing problems and John was able to re-tile the affected areas such that you could never tell there was a problem....looks brand new. He also redid a drop ceiling for me that looks fantastic. Would never hesitate to call John again for any job....

+ 4 moreThe project went exceptionally. Not only did JV remodel the home, but they worked with us to try to keep some of the original style, such as locating molding that was appropriate for the age of the home. We also found interior doors from the 1920's that they were able to make fit, so that the doors were closer to the original style as well. Despite multiple work order changes, they rolled with the changes, and kept things on track. They provided layout recommendations that made the flow of the home better.
Description of Work: We purchased a 100 year old victorian home, and JV Home Improvements took the whole house down to the studs, and remodeled every room. This included drywall work, woodwork, moving a room, removing a wall, and replacing it with a structurally sound beam, painting, window and door installation, and finish work.

+ 0 moreThe cold weather made the joint compound dry slow, but he was smart and brought a heater to allow the area to dry while he worked on others. Very efficient and reasonably priced.
Description of Work: John prepared the walls and painted a kitchen, bath, and hallway. He also repaired drawers and did several small odd jobs. He was very detailed and professional. The job was done on time and under cost estimates. He was always on time and a pleasure to work with.
