AMERICAN EAGLE PAINTING

Rui is a conscientious, hard-working, absolutely meticulous house painter. A few years earlier we had Rui paint our deck and we were so impressed that we asked him to come back. He power washed our home, deck and shed. After a few days to allow for drying he came back painted and then did the trim. This time we changed from burgundy to a dark grey. what a transformation!!! I wish all home improvement businesses had his work ethic. We are already planning on asking him to come and paint a few interior spaces in the future. We really appreciate the wonderful work he does.

Rui and his team are always reliable, honest, and can be counted on for high quality work. American Eagle painting our house a few years ago and we had such a good experience we didn't hesitate for a second to hire them when we needed to re-stain our deck. After the stain had dried we noticed a few areas where the wood absorbed the stain more significantly which led to inconsistencies in color. Rui came back right away and fixed it, no questions asked. Go ahead and hire American Eagle for your project. You won't be disappointed.

Repainting of my cape cod style house was an excellent, by-the-book experience as I was hoping it would be. From the estimate and contract to the prep work and final coat Rui (along with his assistant) was professional, industrious and skillful. He even managed to locate and plug up a small hole in a dormer roof area that a bird occasionally would get into -- much appreciated! They worked full days, weekdays and Saturday, and were done in 5 days not counting the earlier power washing and one rain day. The finished job looks great and will hopefully be long-lasting. I can recommend the company without hesitation.

Applied 2 coats by brush to all, 2nd coat after 1st coat dried. Also repaired rotted wood trim on chimney (modest extra cost) and broken area of deck rail (no charge). Exceeded expectations. Cleaned gutters at no charge which needed it despite we had paid to have them done a couple of months before. Price for upgrade paint was less than others who quoted the lower grade or would use spray/roller application. Very responsive to any minor thing that needed attention. House looks beautiful! He also provides gutter cleaning service.

Amazing job! Rui painted my home, he first power washed it then had the wood shingles repaired. he then primed and painted the entire house. I have already referred him to friends. He by far was the best person i have ever hired for anything! he was here when he said he would be, did exactly what he told me he would do, and in the time frame he said he would finish!! other contractors could learn from his impeccable work ethic. I wish he did other types of work other than painting because I would hire him for everything and anything. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!! Thank You Rui my home looks amazing!!!!!

If I could give Rui a million stars I would! I highly recommend Rui for all your pairing needs! My house needed paint, Rui power washed it first (it looked great after that) he painted my house doors, foundation and trim. My home is 98 years old and He appreciates the look and age of older homes while others i contacted tried to get me to vinyl side my house! I like my wood and Rui did what I wanted from start to finish! He was here every day by 730 am, he was polite, professional and such a nice man! he works hard and does the most amazing job! And my dogs loved him too! I did research many people so I did all the leg work for you just call him and get the job done right with perfection and exactly what you want!! Rui was excellent. He is a hardworking, trustworthy, reliable, punctual, clean, all the things you want in someone you contract to work on your home. Price was very reasonable too. I had flooring delivered and he helped me carry it into the house, a true gentleman.

Rui started the project when promised and completed it ahead of schedule. He communicated well throughout the entire process. Once the job was done, he did a thorough cleaning.

Rui came on a Saturday and completed the work. He was polite and professional. The landing looks great.

EXCELLENT!!!!! I can't begin to explain how satisfied I am with Rui and his team. He is professional, responsive, knowledgeable and dedicated. The quality of the work he performed on my two, one hundred year old 3-story homes could not be surpassed. They look absolutely fabulous. Much better than I could have imagined. Excellent work at a very fair price. I will always hire Rui for all my painting needs. Awesome guy too!

He was pleasant, patient (I changed my first choice for door color) and professional. He was responsive and punctual. His price was fair. I referred him to 2 friends who also hired him.

Rui is an excellent choice for a painter, I contacted him and he returned my call the same day, I explained what I would like to do and he said he would go see the house to give me an estimate. He gave me a call that night with the estimate. I asked him when he could do it and he said he could schedule me in for late July or August. I explained that I needed to list my mom's house by first week in July and he said give me a day to see what I can do to fit you in - this was a Friday afternoon, He called me on the Monday morning and said he could schedule me as the next job. I hired him and we then met to sign the contract. He listed everything he was going to do and I gave him the deposit. Rui is an excellent communicator and told me when he would be there to start the job. He was there promptly at 7:30AM each day. One day he had an issue with one of his vehicles and called me prior to 7:30 to explain the situation and told me he was making other arrangements to get there. He said he would call when he had a better idea. He called later that morning and said he would be there by a certain time and he was right on time. Rui power washed the house and even went the extra mile to power wash the walkway which had some moss growing on it and also power washed a vinyl sided shed in the yard. I never asked for him to do it - he just volunteered it. He then thoroughly scraped down the peeling paint and caulked any necessary areas. While scraping the garage window sills, he found quite a bit of rot. He let me know about it right away and proposed replacing both sills and trim around the house. He said he would get me a quote for the material and the labor and called me that evening with the price and I gave him the go-ahead. He repaired both sills and then proceeded to prime and paint the house. He even fixed other smaller areas where he found rot and did not charge me for the work. Rui and his employee give you a full day's work. I never saw them eat lunch or a take break. They are quiet and cleanup thoroughly before they leave for the day. I occasionally inspected the work after they left and was extremely satisfied with the quality of work and the attention to detail. I would HIGHLY recommend Rui for any paint job you may have. I would definitely hire him in the future without any qualms.

Great. Rui's price was reasonable, he was very punctual and he did a great job. I am very happy with the results.

Rui powerwashed and painted our 2000 square foot cape. The shingles were very dry - we needed a coat of primer and 2 coats of paint. He was very helpful in determining the best way to handle the dry wood - we had originally thought we'd use a solid stain, but Rui recommended moving away from that one he got into the powerwashing and saw the condition of the wood. We can't say enough about what a hard worker Rui was and how professional he was. He was at the house every day, never any subs. Often times it was just him. Even our neighbors commented about how hard he was working. It took a week plus, and he even worked over July 4th weekend to get it done. In addition to the house painting, he also replaced some rotted trim, missing shingles, and damaged downspouts. He also repaired/replaced a section of our picket fence, and painted the whole fence. He stuck to the costs on the estimate - we didn't pay a penny more than he estimated. We would highly recommend American Eagle.

Great. Received a professional written estimate the same day I called (March). Showed up to paint the house the week he cited on the contract. Performed all work to written specifications on the contract in a timely fashion. Didn't leave the job until it was completed. Courteous, neat/clean and required no 'supervision'. A well experienced painter.

Fabulous! Rui and his crew were professional from beginning to end, offering us an immediate estimate, beginning and ending on the exact dates promised, and giving us a meticulous end product. I would absolutely recommend Rui over any others you might be considering--- he far exceeded our expectations due to his politeness, expertise, and attention to detail.

This company is one of RI's best kept secrets. The promptness, professionalism and quality of work are reflected in the results of the service provided. Rui makes the time for his customers and always exceeds any of our expectations. Our vinyl sided home had not been washed for several years and had quite a buildup of mold. Not only did Rui remove all of this, he cleaned the foundation, walkways and porches, and fixed hanging vinyl siding. Our home is so much brighter (white) than before. This past fall we had asked Rui to caulk the exterior second story windows and all the gutters. Again, the job was done quickly and efficiently. We have already discussed having future interior painting projects with him and cannot wait to see the results.

I can't say enough good things about the work and the owner. We had three bids, all about the same at 10K. We chose American Eagle for the great reviews they had received on Angie's List and the contents of their proposal. We were not disappointed. Details: 3,000 sq. ft. house; at one place about 50 feet high; powerwashed; TWO coats; matched existing paint: mainly one color and white trim; painted over previous painters' overspray; used brush application, not spray; sealed wood walkway. The work was excellent, the job came in on time and on budget. Rui, the owner, was always professional and communicated well. [Now, I would have said all of the above anyway, but as a 'fringe' benefit, he might have saved my life. At one point during the job I thought I was having a stroke. We live in a slightly remote area, not visible from the street. Rui and his guys calmly directed the ambulance to the house, and kept the cats inside.] .....and a great paint job!!

Rui was very prompt in replying to my request for a quote to have our house painted. He stopped by the next day, and I was very pleased with the price he quoted for the job. The price he quoted was for pressure washing the entire house followed by two coats of stain on the siding, and two coats of paint for the trim and brick foundation. It had been several years since the house was last painted so the wood siding was quite dry. The siding was just soaking up the stain. For a couple hundred dollars, Rui added a third coat to the entire house. He also replaced a piece of trim that was deteriorated. Rui was very punctual, arriving around 8:00 AM each morning, not so early as to disturb your sleep. We were very pleased with the quality of his work and his professional manner. I would highly recommend American Eagle Painting to anyone looking for quality work at a very reasonable price.

Rui from American Eagle Painting did a fantastic job! I feel so fortunate I was able to hire him. He was very professional and prompt from my initial request for quote to completing the job. The exterior of my Mom's house was is such rough shape. Several area's were pealing, had mold from dampness and old window pane glazing completely dried up, cracked or missing. I thought I'd never find a quality painter willing to tackle this job at a reasonable price until I found American Eagle on Angies List. Quote was very reasonable for the amount of work needed. This 1954 house now looks brand new! We've received so many compliments on Rui's work! Rui even discovered rotted wood trim in area's and replaced them while sticking to his original quoted price. The cleanup he did was impressive also. I highly recommend American Eagle if you want high quality work at a reasonable price. Another very important point was my Mom loved Rui's work and he was such a gentleman with her. It's so refreshing to hire someone who's highly rated on Angies List and exceeds your expectations by doing A+ work.

Rui got in touch with me right away when I contacted him in June and came out to quote the job. He showed up on time and was friendly and professional. Since I was not in any hurry, he set an approximate time of July/August, depending on his other scheduled work. He called me again in late July to say he could come over to do the power washing. He arrived when he said, then came back a few days later and took two days, with a small crew, to paint the garage. He called me at work when they were part of the way through the job to let me know that he'd have to charge $200 more to cover additional lumber required to replace more rotted woodwork than he initially thought existed. They cleaned up afterward, picking up the chipped paint and shreds of woodwork that were chipped off. The one window pane had paint on it around the edges--a natural by-product of painting. Rui said he would return when he was back in the area in two weeks for another job and scrape the glass at that time, as he had no razors with him at that moment. I have no doubt he will follow through.

Rui did an excellent job. Our deck looks fantastic. His work was impeccable. There was no mess left behind as we had with other painters. We could not have ask for more. I highly recommend hiring American Eagle Painting for any of your painting needs. Thank you Rui for doing such great job.
