+ -1 moreHAABCO Construction Inc replaced kitchen counters. Everything was fine. They did just what they said they would do. They did a really good job. I would give them 'A's on everything. They were very good on everything.

+ 3 moreVery wellSean Joubert, HAABCO owner and the primary person on the job, provided the estimate. We got this estimate, which was much lower than what our interior designer had obtained from her contractor. Also, Sean had several ideas that were a much better fit for us than the other contractor's ideas. Except for the demolition and plastering, Sean performed all the work himself. He set expectations in the beginning and then every day that he was here. He cleaned up every day.He is an excellent craftsman and a pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: Removed old kitchen exhaust fanRemoved cabinetRemoved short wall, opened doorway and matched opening to existing from kitchen to dinette; removed molding at other entrance oto dinette to match new opening, plasteredInstalled new Microwave/Convection Oven/Fan where old exhaust fan was located over stoveBuilt and installed new smaller cabinet to match existing cabinet units and fit new openingRemoved window casing for granite countertop install (performed by other contractor); cut the casing to match the contour of the backsplash and match the original window casing

+ 7 moreSean Joubert, the principle/owner, of the company performed most of the above work himself, although he did have help for demo and part of the installations. From the first day, he was on time, did the work steadily and completely, cleaned up every day, and completed the work on time. Our new built in cabinet and the doors match the factory installed cabinets that had been in the house for 20+ years. He added little touches with woodwork accents. He always had ideas about how to do something better and the quality of the work is excellent. And he's a great, professional, low key guy that anyone can get along with and will be very happy with his work.
Description of Work: Removed walls and prepared for painters, removed counter tops, built and installed cabinets, managed plasterer, electrician, counter top install, installed microwave above stove including fan, installed kitchen sink and garbage disposal, completed various other small jobs as needed and requested.
