A WOMAN WITH TOOLS

When I originally called Pia last fall, it was too late to paint a newly installed fascia, and although she offered to paint the boards indoors before she installed them, I opted to paint them myself. This meant that the job had to be put off until spring. Pia kept in contact throughout the winter, and when warm weather returned, she gave me a ring to set up a time to install the new boards. Pia is very accommodating, extremely easy to work with and willing to explain every step of the job. She even took the time to teach me how to caulk, and I really, really needed the lesson. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

We bought a house that needed some work before we moved in, and we are very fortunate to have connected with Pia. She has done beautiful work for us--her drywall patching is invisible, and her painting is gorgeous. She also installed banisters for the safety of our elderly aunt who lives with us. She efficiently did a lot of small jobs--installing shelves, removing miscellaneous built-in things we didn't want, pulling up old carpeting, etc. Pia cheerfully dealt with any number of delays, unpleasant surprises, and unexpected deliveries. Her masterpiece is the built-in bookshelves in the office, spanning two corners. We'll enjoy them for years!
