We have a large yard with many trees. During storms and winter we lose some limbs and sometimes trees have split. Weve had SJS remove many of these limbs and damaged trees that would otherwise be unsightly or dangerous in the yard. The service was quick, efficient and at a fair price. They did exactly what was asked in a reasonable amount of time. We would use the service in the future and recommend it to others.
Description of Work: Varied tree removal, downed branches and limbs. Clean up from overall storm or winter damage.

I felt that he was a bit impatient. He just didn't want to do anymore than we had talked about. He said he would come back to trim a tree in the front and he hasn't come back. I've called him twice to get two small trees trimmed in front but no response. I paid a large sum of money on the first job and him not calling me back shows a bit of his character.
Description of Work: They trimmed a spruce tree in the corner. They lowered a canopy top by 6-8 ft. Repruned tree as well as removed the fencing behind home to gain access to a dead tree that needed to be taken out behind house.

The member was correct in the impatient part. My wife and I had medical problems with our smallest child and tension was 10 of 10. Where the story differs is that the member had us do several things that she did not ask for in her initial estimate(which I still have) and it took meeting three times prior to being able to do the job(she refused to give me her email) so I had to hand deliver formal proposal. Also she has a very "stressed" relationship with her neighbor that put undo stress on our ability to do her work effeciently. With regards to the tree she is speaking of...I did agree to hand prune the tree when the timing was right based on the species of tree(i believe it was a bloodgood laceleaf maple) at NO CHARGE!!!!! I did forget which I take full responsibility for.But htis task was 1 of several she kept adding to my workload. In closing the member wasnt a bad client to work for maybe just needy and unrealistic.Does the member remember all the broken lumber and debris she repeatedly requested I take at no charge?? There are three sides to a story...hers mine and the truth. I believe my reputation speaks for tself and would be happy to fulfill the agreement I made with her to hand prune her tree. I merely forgot. I hope this sheds light on small misconceptions people have during a business transaction. On the lighter side an older gentleman once told me upon hearing I would trim the extra branches for free while I was next to his tree. he asked "how much for the extra branches?" I said "no charge today.." he replied "at the supermarket when you have them put three pounds of pork chops wrap it and tag it...it comes with a price..so when I ask for more pork chops I expect a bill!" Gotta love em
