+ -1 moreThey are punctual, responsive, fast, and do an OK job mowing and trimming. A couple of times the mower deck apparently was not perfectly leveled, but that is not very important for me. For a perfectionist that might have been a problem. The only thing I do not like about them is the high price (compared to other companies): a whopping $55 for 0.5 acres.
Description of Work: Sykes mows 0.5 acres and trims borders along fence.

+ -1 moreI am not very happy with his work. First, he quoted us one price, then after three visits he increased the price because he said our lawn takes longer than he expected. Then the following week he showed up with all new equipment and a fancy trailer. He must have increased the fee on everyone to pay for his new toys! Also, they do a very poor job of trimming. I've got grass and weeds over a foot tall near the deck, swing set, etc. And they don't mow all the way to the edge of the yard. The whole perimeter appears as though I'm trying to start a wheat field. I used them last year and tried to replace them but couldn't find anyone to come out to my remote location. I hoped they would be better this year but it seems they get worse each week. They are a nice couple (husband and wife team) but I definitely don't get my money's worth.
Description of Work: I use Sykes to do weekly mowing and trimming of my lawn. He charges $55 for 1 acre.
