Description of Work: Mike Renzi came to our 10acre property to do an evaluation of what needed to be done and to price what we wanted to get done. We were given a report that was prepared by him and an assistant. In the report it detailed what needed to be pruned, removed, fertilized, adjusted, and restructured. We were given a ballpark price of around 8,000.00. For example, I had a rose garden in front of my house that I waned to expand. It was in the shape of a teardrop with several rose bushes in the middle, then lined with low boxwood, then about 1 1/2 feet of sod around that and framed in with cobblestones. I wanted to remove the sod and move the boxwood out to the edge of the cobblestones. Mike indicated that this could be done so I said let's do it. He had himself, a women, another guy and a large machine with an operator. He dug up all the sod, disturbed all of my existing roses , mixed up all my identfiying tags and proceeded to dig the boxwood when he realized that the cobblestones were incased with concrete and the concrete would heat up in the sun and be too much for the roots of the boxwood and kill them. So after about 1/2 days work, four workers and a machine wasted everything had to be put back the way it was. He bragged about his experience with doing these sorts of jobs and we believed him. It took the rest of the day to put everything back. He also added some loom that we agreed on earlier to raise the rose bed up. About two weeks after this was done I noticed that a lot of weeds were coming up in the rose garden despite the fact that we had covered the dirt with mulch. There where so many weeds I couldn't keep up with the weeding. One day I was so upset I began to cry, then I got mad and decided to call Mike Renzi and tell him to come back and remove the loom he used. I found his bill, and his estimate but realized his phone number was not on either paper. Then I tried to look it up in the phone book and couldn't find a valid number. Everything he did on our property was wrong accept for when he adjusted our fruit trees because they were planted too deep. Each one had to be dug up and replanted. He probably billed us for some that didn't need for this to be done. But how would we know, "he was the expert". He planted some new holly trees for us but he planted them too close together and they got a fungus because there was no air circulation. One day he came to do the pruning and I almost died. Our trees looked like a nuclear bomb went off in our yard. I called my husband and told him to call Mike and tell him to stop. I didn't want him on our property anymore. My husband fired him and soon came the BILL, $10,000.00. I nearly died. I didn't want to pay him but my husband didn't want any trouble so he got paid in full. That Christmas the doorbell rang on a cold wet day and it was Mike Renzi with a poinsettia plant for us. I gave him the cold shoulder and took the plant. I immediately deposited it in the trash can in the garage.

i had some perennials that died last summer and i was concerned that they had a disease. Dave came out to inspect them. He called me before our agreed upon meeting time saying that he was there early. This was disappointing as I wanted to be there, but we were able to make it work out over the phone. He inspected the bushes and some trees and gave me some advice and recommendations. He suggested coming back after everything has flowered to do some pruning to improve the health of the plants. I was very happy with what we talked about and will have him back to do the pruning later in the summer.
