Sam arrived on time, and was very polite, and professional. The color way a light grey in an area with poor lighting so there were a few touch ups needed. Sam even came back to touch up after he was already paid in full. I am very happy with the service, and will definitely call him again.

Sam returned my inquiry the same day, and was on the job a few days later. He was punctual, polite, personable, and did really fantastic work. My husband and I are very impressed and would recommend Sam to anyone needing painting services. Excellent. Very neat job, on time, and Sam helped me with the color choice. I had chosen a color that Sam thought was too intense for the adjacent rooms of my beach cottage. We diluted the color and now it looks fine as a mint tint. The price was within my budget which is very important.

Although house was in good shape (one bad wall/sun), Sam and his co-worker were meticulous, feather sanding all peeling areas, priming, and sometimes double coating. Sam showed up on time, every day, and reviewed with me what he was going to do the next day. Since I have always painted my house, I have to admit Sam beat me in fussiness! And he educated me on certain surface issues the house had. On schedule, great work, and will certainly hire again. I will share this experience with my neighbors; they are always looking for a responsible business man.

Mr. Messina was terrific! He looked at the problem, with my permission he cut into two of the bubbles to see what the problem and determine whether or not moisture was a problem. He immediately saw that a very high gloss material was several layers down, and recommended that we strip the paint to the bare wood next spring and try painting again. He did not charge us a penny!

Called for a exterior paint quote within their working area. They would not come out to look at it. Instead, I was asked to send a picture of the house which I did. The response I received was that the house was too tall. Really? Two stories is too tall?

I am extremely pleased with the job performed by Sam Messina. Our house and deck look fantastic, and the price was more than fair. After deciding to have the house painted this year, I took bids from several contractors. Sam's was among the most competitive, and I decided to go with him after a lengthy discussion about his process and the condition of my home. I try to make well informed decisions and ask a lot of questions, so I was particularly impressed with the level of clarity and mutual understanding throughout the entire project. Sam carefully assessed, and ultimately reassessed, the problem areas of the house that receive the most sun exposure. And when I asked, he gave me a detailed explanation for his recommended course of action, and then he kept me informed on his progress once the job commenced. And as he states in his company bio, Sam doesn't subcontract: he shows up and paints your house with his son, and they take great care to ensure that the job is "done right." They are meticulous and quiet while at work, and they did a great job. The house looks incredible-- the color is rich and vibrant. Excellent job! Sam and his son were very thorough, from the beginning coming out the price the job twice to the many windows and over hangs giving them special attention to assure they had been properly prepared and painted. The house looks wonderful.

We contacted Sam after buying our new home a little over two years ago, he came over and gave us an estimate on the interior painting that needed to be done in our living room, dining room, and kitchen. We have an open floor plan and the previous owners had chosen purple and green as the colors, it was a bit loud for our taste! Sam was very professional upon arrival to our home and he was honest and forthcoming when discussing what would need to be done to cover over the dark paint colors. He recommended a paint brand and estimated the number of gallons we would need, I'm not a paint pro so it's nice to just take a suggestion from someone who is and go with it. Sams attention to detail showed when the job was done and we have been pleased with our new living space ever since. Last fall we put a deck on our house and as we were building it we already had discussed our plan to contact Sam to stain it! This spring Sam came and did two coats of stain using a combination of spray stain and hand painted techniques the two coats looked great but after a week of letting it set we decided to have Sam come back and take a look because something was off with the way it was setting. I contacted Sam on a Saturday morning around nine and he was at our house by noon with supplies in hand to inspect the deck. After consultation with us he decided to do a third coat and it couldn't look better! Last week we had a fence company come to give us a quote and in the back of my mind I was already thinking how we could call Sam for the staining. I would recommend Messina Painting without any reservations.

We contacted Sam on a Saturday morning and he called within an hour to view our project. Before Sam left, we had a written estimate and a start date the following Wednesday. Sam was scheduled to show up at 8:00 AM and he was here at 7:45. Prompt and professional service, quality workmanship, and reliable. Sam and his son (assistant), Justin, made minor repairs as needed and finished before the estimated time. We would use them again without hesitation. A truly pleasant experience.

inspected deck, provided estimate which was accecped and arrivred on time to begin work. Sanded entired deck and applied first coat. Came back later in week and applied second coat of stqin. Deck looks great. Very easy to work with and even checked out lower portion of deck and discussed how to proceed to refinished that portion of deck. Would highly recommend this company for any painting project and would use him in the future. Prompt, courteous, pleasant and does great work.

We solicited bids on our painting job throughout the summer and chose to go with Messina Painting with a start in the early fall. Sam Messina and his son showed up promptly on the promised start date and continued to work on the house over the following few weeks. It became apparent very quickly that Sam was a real professional and took pride in doing a good job. They were neat, unobtrusive, and left the house in a presentable state each night. Sam Messina (the owner) was present at all stages of the job. As someone who often seeks out owner/operators I was very pleased with the quality of the work and responsiveness to any issues that arose. Whenever there were any issues or something wash't as expected Sam was quick to remedy the issue quickly and without complaint. I would be happy to use this company for future painting jobs.

We hired Sam to paint/stain our log home and two car garage. The job included a pressured wash and application of two coats of solid color stain. Sam did a fabulous and meticulous job. We are extremely happy with the results the house looks beautiful. Sam was prompt, always polite, extremely tidy, and he even went above to to a little extra painting for us that we didn't expect, but were grateful for. The job was done a few days ahead of schedule too. We would definitely hire Sam again and would highly recommend him.

Sam, the owner, was very professional and responsive to my needs. Prior to contacting Messina Painting I had called at least four other contractors, most of whom never called me back and another that could not be available until October. However, Sam was able to work me into his busy schedule by the following week. He and his son completed the job with great attention to detail and my decks look fantastic! Sam was very thorough in maintaining communication from start to finish and adhered to the estimated budget. I would highly recommend his services.

Sam 's level of communication is excellent. He said he would be at the property at a certain time, and he was there. He examined the deck, checked out the paint I had ordered, and gave me a time-line when he could do the job. The deck looks great! Given his professional approach, I would recommend him and will seek him out again when I next need painting inside or outside.

A friend had been living in one of my apartments and, silly me, I had told her she could paint the walls (in the house she owned she'd used all neutral colors). What a mistake! The colors she thought I would "love" were an almost fluorescent high gloss yellow and green. Sam was great. He was prompt, had some excellent suggestions / recommendations for covering the neon colors and had no problem using the brand of paint from which my new tenants had already selected colors (pre-approved this time!). He also was very accommodating and worked within the tight schedule I had to complete the project. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company and will definitely use him the next time I need some painting done.
