The owner himself sold me my replacement windows. I remember him making a big deal that all windows come with a LIFETIME Warranty. We joked about having small children and the unexpected things that can happen. He reassured me Lifetime means Lifetime. He also hand wrote it on my invoice. That coming from the owner was a large part of why I paid Venture more than their competitors. A few years passed and one of my windows started getting cloudy. I went to Venture and in a week or so I picked up my replacement. Now again I have another cloudy piece of glass. Only this time Venture forwarded me to their vendor who told us we would need to fill out an online form. After approx 4 weeks with no update we contacted them again. They said since its been 20yrs we would need to pay $70 for the replacement. I left a message for Bruce only to be called back by his staff to let me know $70 was more important than honoring their agreement. This is something to consider before hiring.

I am an avowed DIY-er, but I know my limitations ! In our version of "This Old House", our recent purchase of a 1910 home was in desperate need of new windows. The quotation appointment was prompt, on-time, with options offered for different grade of replacements and features. The price seemed fair (not a bargain basement offer, and VERY far from the 'ridiculous' numbers always put out by an un-named famous national chain). The expectations for installation date range were clearly set (as we all know some of the supply chain challenges we are all currently living with). Installation date was arranged, once they had the units from their supplier. Friendly reminder call the day before, crew of 2 showed up exactly on time, and the work was efficiently and professionally executed. 15 replacements completed on 1st day, and 2 more days (per plan) to complete to work for installing 2 brand new openings for 2 additional windows. Only a few days in, so far - but we could NOT be happier. The work was completed with craftsmanship (see below, as a portion of the work was more than just installing replacements).

Have hired and paid a down payment but work is scheduled for early December.

I highly recommend this business if you live in the Providence area. They are straightforward, professional, and very responsive. The team that came to replace the windows are professional carpenters and they work for Venture and are not outsourced contractors, so if a problem arises, you can just contact Venture. I am very pleased with their efficiency, customer service and the quality of work they performed.

I had Venture window done front balcony work. That was well done years ago. So when I had some problem with backside balcony I immediately called them. John came and everything went as scheduled. The whole job was well by Bob and Dave. I now won't need worry about leak and break down. With window closure the room could reach 75 degree while outside is below 32! Very happy! Highly recommended.

Venture Windows was recommended as my residence is an historic home and follows certain structural guidelines for improvements. I see i offer a somewhat different review than others however, I am writing to express my sincere disappointment with this company and asking that others seriously consider using them for installation. Very long story quite abbreviated - after waiting over three months for the order to arrive which was three storm doors (arrived on time), 6 sashes and 8 storm windows (I was informed that two months was waiting period), two sashes and two storms were incorrectly measured. The owner took responsibility for inaccurately measuring them. As I waited an additional five weeks for this order to be completed, two of three of my replacement storm doors would not operate. Two company installers appeared to have one of them in full working order. A day later it was not working again and I fixed it myself rather than experience any more frustration with a simple issue that could have been rectified. Finally, to my surprise, an ordered opaque bathroom window (ordered on June 12) was no longer offered and I was told by the owner could not be an option. I was told this on October 30. Importantly, it was listed on the invoice and no one communicated this to me. I now have a window not at all meeting my satisfaction. Needless to say, I was insulted by the compensation (or discount) that was offered by the owner in light of these inconveniences. Even more insulting was the offer he made to pay for the mini-blinds that I will now need to cover the bathroom window that they cannot replace ($37.00). I need to be clear - I do not write reviews. I only do so in order that others are aware as you consider this company for future window replacement/construction work. It is appalling that this is the customer service received – I say this regardless of the tremendous financial cost and inconvenience that their errors have caused.

John Mills, the owner, was prompt in his response to my inquiry. He visited my house and provided me with options and suggestion. He quoted the job promptly as well. The Venture crew showed up as expected. Bob's crew was very professional and organized. They were respectful of my property and protected the work area as much as possible. The sliding door and windows quality and installation workmanship are exceptional. After the job was completed, they cleaned the work areas of any debris and extra material. The addition of these Venture products makes my home as beautiful and livable as I had envisioned it would be. Thanks, Venture.

They did a great job communicating with us during the process. The install was quick, no issues and they left no mess. I recommend them and planning on using them again at our new house.

I have tried going to get basement windows done for months, started in late summer and was hoping to get it done before the winter comes. I went to the big stores like Lowe's, and they never responded to my inquiries, said they would get the job done however months passed and not even a response back. Anyways with venture window I contacted them because I got a promotional email, i mentioned my issues and project needs. From there on it was quick and responsive! They got the measurements asap, worked with my busy schedule, ordered the parts, and got the job done very quick, clean and efficient! George was the man who fixed all my windows, and he did a really great job! A+++++ My next project is replacing my house windows, and I will definitely be using Venture window again! Thank you guys so much!

As I said, this was a difficult job. Everything had to look level. When it didn't satisfy me, they went all out to make me happy. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I didn't make it easy for them. Still a little slanted, but I'm the only one that notices. I can't say enough about how nice they were to me. Workmanship and attitude was fantastic.

This experience did not go so well. Why I don?t recommend this provider: 1. Purchased deal on 05/28/1515. I have a disability - explained that I needed a week in advance of any appointment made. I receiv a call at 8PM one night to have the installation done the next day. Was unable to make that appointment and was promised callback next day to reschedule. I had to call back more than a week later for appointment. Appointment made for the following week; 2. Two workers arrive and removed 7 windows before starting any installation. When they attempt to install 2 windows in den they realize the windows are wrong size?never checked measurements despite the fact that I was told later that this has happened before. Luckily, they carefully removed the original windows because I said I wanted to give them away and reinstalled them. The windows did not, function because they were nailed into the frames. I had to stuff the air gaps with newspaper to keep insects out and keep A/C in. I could not open the windows and they did not reinstall my blinds. I have a muscle disease and lived like this for 3 weeks before the new windows arrived. I had to climb up and down on a couch every day to staple a piece of fabric for privacy and remove it during the day; 3. After the installers left, I inspected the 3 basement windows and couldn?t believe the mess they left?glass on the floor because they destroyed the windows they removed (lucky the new ones were the right size) and sprayed foam around the windows that bubbled up and was covering the window and frame. The installer later falsely claimed that I asked to have the foam added, which I did not; 4. One installer walked past me toward the back of my house to use the bathroom without even asking. They left a large ladder behind and I was told they would pick it up when they returned with the new windows and never asked if it was OK with me. Bruce did come before that at my request that he see the mess and he did take the ladder at that time; 5. Second pair of installers came 3 weeks later. Fairly, they were much more professional than the first but could not completely remove caulking on my kitchen window. It is already discolored and I have to paint to cover it up on a window that should not require this maintenance; 6 The most egregious of this provider was altering a check I gave him. Upon completion of the job, I owed a balance for 2 windows. The provider kept sending me an invoice with errors and I withheld the check until the invoice was correct. When I did mail the check, I forgot to sign it. His office left me a message stating they had trouble with my check. They left a second message that the bank cashed the check but did not offer an explanation of what the ?trouble? was. I called and was told I forgot to sign the check so they wrote ?Signature Guaranteed? on the signature line. This was done without my knowledge or permission. My bank did cash it when they should not have, but it doesn?t change the fact that the provider altered that check with full intent without my permission. I did not challenge the cashing of the check but I intend to file a complaint with the appropriate state agency.

The installers did an excellent job, which took the better part of one day. The windows required a lot of fitting on both the interior and exterior walls. These windows had to meet the exact requirements of our condo association, which limited our options when choosing a window style. The installation was more complex than a typical window install. One of the company's owners answered all our questions and personally came back to inspect the final work.

I just tell you already and I think that is your part to do the further search about not response to my phone call to tell me to take or refuse to take the deal or not. It is business they can refuse to the deal or not. No response or not answer the phone is not the strategy to the customers.

Very well. All people from salesman to installers were polite and professional. They cleaned up after themselves, showed up when they said they would and finished on time.

They were very professional and very responsive. I ended up not needing the new windows and just need to have the seal replaced. They walked me through the whole process and if I need new windows I will definitely use them!

When we called for an estimate they came quickly, and came back with the estimate quickly. They cleaned up the area completely. They arrived on time. We are very pleased with the windows and the service.

For starters we have used this company for all our windows, storm doors, replace window frames and a new sky light. They are the best. Very professional, top products and respond very quickly. We are having 2 new doors put in and they will fix a window frame damaged from water rot. I would recommend them to everyone. John and his team are the best.
