+ -1 moreI have a dining room which was covered in old wallpaper. Shirley and her husband Dave removed the old wallpaper which can be a very messy job, but they did this while being careful of the hardwood floors. It is very impressive how they painted the room so quickly while doing such a great job at the details. We have a corner hutch in the room with glass door and it looks amazing. The whole room came out great.
Description of Work: Removed wallpaper from dining room and then painted the room.

+ -1 moreShirley Abatiello, owner of a family-run interior painting firm, Speedy Finishing of Cranston, has provided topnotch work in my home on two separate occasions. She was referred to me by a friend of mine, who had praised her work.Shirley has a professional and friendly manner, is always on time, works quickly and efficiently and to deadline, and is entirely committed to pleasing the customer.I have not needed to have her amend any of her work, but she has always been pro-active in asking if everything has been delivered to specification. There is one small tricky spot in one wall where there had been a minor water seepage (unrelated to work by this company). Shirley said if for some reason the problem should recur and spoil the patch and painting, she would come back and fix it for nothing.
Description of Work: Speedy Finishing painted my double kitchen area for one job a couple of years ago, and I was amazed and delighted with the work, especially the “cutting in” where the walls (with no moldings) meet the ceiling. It was impeccable work. This month, April 2013, the company painted two bedrooms – one of which needed extensive sanding, patching, repairing – and three closets for $1,500 which included all materials. This is a very favorably competitive cost! I have been entirely content with both the quality of the work delivered and the great attitude of the owner. Each is a relief in this world where too often things are promised, but never delivered in harmony with those promises.
