SCHWARTZ TREE & LANDSCAPE We weren't sure if we could preserve the tree, because one branch had rot in it. He said it could be preserve, and put in a cable that is very hard to see. The cable is to help hold the branch on.

I have been hiring David and his crew for years now and every time, I am not disappointed. David is highly knowledgeable and it shows when he consults with you. Yes, if you're on a tight budget, the prices can get up there BUT it's because you are getting what you pay for. He his a Master Arborist and Master Horticulturist and he and his crew are conscientious of your property, courteous to you and your neighbors, prompt and provide superb work. I recently had a minor "emergency". While I was having a new driveway installed, a large stump was uncovered and refused to be pulled away with the dozer. I called David and he and one of his crew members were on-site within the hour, as promised and the root was ground down in a matter of minutes and they were on their way. Considering the last minute service and the great job they did, $225.00 was reasonable in my book. The next day, they were scheduled to spray herbicide on some poison ivy and the sprayer from the crew was there, on time and did his work quickly, efficiently and neatly. He was polite and informative, as per the usual standards of David and his crew. This particular job cost $125.00 which, considering, it was a small patch of land, is a little pricey for some but I am happy to pay it because of the service I know I will receive. Over the years, I have developed a terrific relationship with David and he is ALWAYS my first (and only) call for any of my arbor and horticulture needs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I don't have a lawn, but it's a different kind of property. They come out every year during the spring and do a walk around. They are prompt, very nice, and easy to work with. I don't have a problem with them. They are pretty expensive, though.

They were in the Angie's List book so I got $100.00 off. His name was David. The services were good.

Excellent all-round service. Following an initial phone inquiry, Mr. Schwartz visited our property to assess the trees and provide an estimate; he did so promptly and efficiently. The estimate ($410) seemed reasonable, given the size of the trees and the demands of the job. On the day of the appointment, Schwartz and his crew showed up on time, reviewed the amount to be cut back, and the crew members proceeded to do exactly what was needed: they trimmed so as to preserve the health and natural appearance of the trees, and removed branches that were running into our neighbor's driveway and yard. Crew members were neat, polite, answered questions and were quite informative about tree growth and the characteristics of trees on our property. They cleaned up and removed all of the debris from the job and were careful not to damage the tulip and daffodil shoots near the trimming site. We would definitely use Mr. Schwartz's services again if we need tree work in the future.

There were three employees, they showed up within the specified time completed the work in about two hours (including stump grinding) and were gone, with minimum noise and disruption. Great job.

Schwartz has been taking care of our hemlocks for many years. I thought we were going to have to remove them but the twice per year treatment has saved them. They call us in the Spring and the Fall to schedule the spraying.

The three men were extremely polite and professional. They cleaned up every leaf and branch that dropped from the areas where they worked.

The appraisal was quick. David and his crew started one week later. They did not complete the job in one day, but that was fine. They completed a couple days later. Every step of the way there was great communication, complete professionalism and an impressive job, overall.

Their work has always been excellent. It's the growing season now and they will be out soon. Overall, they are just excellent and the best we have ever seen. They are fine with the price. Their responsiveness is very good. The quality of work is excellent. Their punctuality and professionalism are excellent as well.

I had to cut down an old diseased Dogwood, leaving a relatively small stump. I called four different local tree service companies but never received a single return phone call. Finally, I found Schwartz on Angie's List and he actually picked up the phone. $80 and the stump was ground two days later. Done and done.

I decided to call Schwartz Tree and Landscape after an earlier positive experience that I had when they installed sod at my house. Dave Schwartz was not in when I initially called, but he returned my call promptly, and we arranged for him to stop by to inspect the trees and give me an estimate. He arrived at my house at the scheduled time and had a courteous and professional manner. Once I'd decided to go forward with the job, I called him back and we scheduled the job to be completed within the week. On the appointed day, his crew arrived at the scheduled time, and also conducted themselves in a courteous and professional manner. They cut the trees down quickly and without any damage to my or my neighbor's house or property. They then ground the stumps and cleared the area of any remaining debris. During the job, Dave stopped by personally to check on his crew and to see how everything was growing. Overall it was a very positive experience. I think you could probably find someone cheaper, but Schwartz returns calls, shows up on schedule and does a good job. To me, that's worth it.

The guys did an excellent job -- this company was referred to me by a friend who had used him. After the fact, I found people who would have done the work for a lot less, but this guy DID have good ideas on trees to choose, so maybe he was worth it???

The project went very well. The service representative who did the estimate was onsite on the day of the work. They called to let me know of any problems they ran into or questions they had while the work was being completed (I wasn't home at the time and had someone else at the house.) They completed the project slightly ahead of time and did what they said they would do. I am pleased with the work they did. (I also had other estimates before hiring them.)

It went great. No complaints. He was extremely clear in helping us understand the treatments and responded to my email questions within the day.

The crew worked hard, especially on a huge overgrown yew that had to be cut back considerably.

Mr. Schwartz was quick to return my phone call and to come out to see the job at hand. He sent someone quickly to take care of all the tree care that we had discussed. The trees seem to be doing well.

You can always count on Dave and his crew to be punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Dave is prompt with quotes; the work gets scheduled, the crew arrives, does the tree trimming in a way that clearly shows they know what is best for the trees and for the aesthetics of the location; all trimmings are removed from the site.

They were excellent. They were on time and professional. The job was done in a timely manner and they were careful with our property. I would recommend them to other people.

David Schwartz is very knowledgeable, approachable, and professional. We have used his service for 18 years and find he is fair, attentive and reasonably priced for service received.

I WOULD SAY THAT THEY ARE THE VERY BEST IN THE WHOLE STATE. THIS COMPANY IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. I HAVE USED THEM FOR OVER FIVE YEARS NOW, AFTER SWITCHING FROM ANOTHER TREE SERVICE COMPANY THAT I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH.
