You will never receive an invoice from Dennis. There will always be a reason you can't have it "yet". Installed a new heating system in 2020 and just found out the exhaust and intake were set up incorrectly, but you can't get someone to fix a problem if they aren't returning calls or texts. I spent so much money... the heating system works, but they left my house a real mess. Never again. Despite the major work his crews did, not a single permit was ever pulled. When his electrician initially came out to assess my broken furnace, I was told it might be a ballpark of $12k to replace with the new system. Dennis confirmed that would be the price, but when I asked for a breakdown, he got defensive and told me he'd be happy to leave if I wanted to wait for other estimates. Unfortunately, since I was without heat and it was already November, I caved and agreed to pay because I just wanted to have heat again and he had been recommended by someone I trust who trusted him.

Wont return phone calls-stay away shoddy work dishonest!. Replaced a furnace and irairconditioning unit. Its off our kitchen and sounds like a 747 taking off every time it starts up. Dennis assured us he would resolve this. He has never come by to see or inspect his crews shoddy work.I had to hire an electrician to fix the shoddy wiring. Now he wont return phone call 6 months calling and doesn’t have the decency to address this! How do you run a business like this? How are they on Angis list We cant even have a conversation in our kitchen when this furnace starts up! Stay far away!

Reddy recently delivered unparalleled customer service by providing a backup generator in a very expedited timeframe to our fuel supplier so that my wife who is high risk due to covid 19 did not have to worry about losing power for an extended length of time. It was beyond customer service, it was a life saver. Thank you

Thanks to Dennis and his crew at Reddy Piping Concepts for the installation of our home Air Conditioning system. The work was completed with minimal interruption and the entire crew were friendly and efficient . Work was also completed right on schedule. The system with ducts on the first and second floors looks and works fantastic.

Reddy Piping Concepts did the above work for me on 8/29/14 and I discovered 2 things were missing from my home after the workers left. I thought the workers may have taken the items unintentionally. I spoke to Dennis Reddy, the owner, who said he would look into it and get back to me. He didn't contact me for several days but it turned out he had a medical emergency. When he did contact me he made every effort to take care of my concerns.

It was a great deal of work that was do a in a matter of days. After all the work was done, Dennis hired a cleaning Company to clean my house !

It went great. We have used Reddy Piping Systems for years and we are always satisfied. Dennis and his crew are timely, professional and fair.

I got myself in a terrible jam trying to do my own plumbing. I soldered ball valves into my hot and cold domestic hot water pipes, which leaked when I turned the water back on and I couldn't fix this myself. Reddy Piping Concepts had professionally installed my gas-fired heating system and replaced a water heater before that, so I called Dennis to ask him to fix the mistakes and leaks I caused. He came to the house shortly after we talked on the phone (he answered immediately when I called him). Long story short - Dennis fixed my mistakes quickly, and now - no problems! Everything runs great and looks great. And I learned a lesson - No more DIY plumbing work by me.

Couldn't have been better. Dennis advised me on right equipment choices. His bid was the lowest of 3 that I got. Secured the hot water storage tank at a reduced price. Showed up on time. Built a beautiful new wall in the basement on which to locate all heating piping, pumps, valves, electronics, etc. which was way beyond the call of duty. The finished work is as much art as it is science. Looks like the bridge on the Starship Enterprise. Neat and clean work. All solder joints are perfect. No problems at all since the job was completed 17 months ago. AND I'm saving at least 50% of the $$ I used to spend on heating oil.

Extremely professional. They were knowledgeable, responsive, and kept the area clean. Everything was completed in less than 3 days! The new gas boiler was wall mounted. All the pipes are insulated and everything is neat and tidy. I purchased the equipment from National Grid after a consultation with Dennis Reddy, the owner of Reddy Piping. He is well versed on many product types. He talked to me about many options and left the decision to me. Everything works great!

The HVAC went well but the plumbing was not as good. There were certain things (install Runtal heating units in the bathroom) that the main project manager did not know how to do, even though Mr. Reddy said they could do it. After they installed the shower plumbing, we had problems with the mix in the shower and asked them to come out to adjust it. It took several days to get them here and they showed up unannounced (what would they have done if I were not here?). They came (same guy) but he could not figure out how to open the fixture and correct it, even though his folks installed it - and this guy was the supervisor!. Our GC finally came over that evening and quickly adjusted it. They would show up unannounced. They would not return emails, texts or calls to our GC for extended periods of time. And now, 8 months later, a pipe in the finished basement (that they had soldered for the new pipes they installed ) sprung a leak which I discovered when I went downstairs last evening. Ceiling tiles were ruined and collapsed onto the carpet, soaked. We had to turn off the water to the house to stop this and contacted our GC. He tried to reach Mr. Reddy and finally heard back from him 12 hours later. It was explained the urgency of the issue and he said he would get in touch with me today but it has been 4 hours without so much as a call. I understand this is unexpected but I would expect some level of contact to indicate when they would be here. The workers were all pleasant but I would never use them again.

Problems arose immediately when the technician installed the boiler in the wrong area ( Dennis Reddy advised it would be installed in one area in the basement when he provided the estimate and the technician installed it in a different area). Due to this change in location, the building inspector would not approve the installation because the boiler was vented too close to the dryer vent. To fix the issue, the dryer vent hose had to be extended over 10 feet to the opposite wall and then re-vented outside (where the boiler should have been installed and vented initially). Therefore all future dryers must be able to accommodate an abnormally long vent hose setup - and that criteria definitely limits the types of dryers that can be purchased. My current problem is that in June 2012, I was advised by another plumber that the boiler was not even wired to the outside sensor that was installed by the technician to the outside wall of my home (and being attached to that sensor was the reason this boiler is supposed to be much more efficient). Dennis Reddy came out to inspect it in June 2012 and said that the boiler was never connected to the sensor - and admitted that for some reason, the technician never wired it that way at all. Even though Dennis Reddy sold me the boiler saying it was created to be wired to the outside sensor to provide the greatest efficiency - that did not happen. Mr. Reddy promised to rewire the boiler and then never did. I have called him many times, sent him texts and while he did have a date scheduled for the repair, he canceled and now will not answer my calls or respond to my texts.

After a long search for the right heating solution for my 110 year old house, Dennis Reddy finally led us to the correct, although expensive, solution of removing the old steam radiators and oil burner and replacing them with a very efficient gas burner with baseboard heating units and three separate heating zones. I was impressed that Reddy Piping had done gas conversions on a number of the historic houses in my neighborhood and Dennis understood the issues in heating this big old places. He gave us a quote very quickly and although I nearly fainted at the price, I realized that his quote was the only one out of several I'd gotten that actually addressed all the issues I'd raised, and was probably the most realistic. The work itself went on for several weeks, with different crews coming in to remove the radiators, install the gas burner and hot water heater, install baseboards, and run the pipes throughout the house. Needless to say, it was pretty disruptive (I work from home, which was sometimes impossible while this was going on, but it couldn't be helped, I guess.), but the guys he had coming in were friendly and explained everything they were doing as they went along. It did take a few weeks, and there were days when nothing happened because they had other commitments or some piece hadn't arrived, but overall I would say they did an excellent job (although I did just find a length of old piping that they hadn't removed, just hanging from the ceiling in an unused bedroom, but I will call them to come and take care of that). Anyway, two months later I'm very happy with the comfort level - switching to baseboards was the right call, despite my fear that it would destroy the historic character of the house - and after my first two gas bills I can say that this system will pay for itself in less than three heating seasons. I would recommend Reddy Piping, especially if your heating needs or your house are somewhat idiosyncratic. Dennis really knows what he's talking about.

It went extremely well. I am so pleased with the outcome. My old oil boiler and oil tank was removed. The new gas unit was installed. Workers were all VERY professional. A small window pane was broken when they were removing the oil from my tank and they actually fixed it the next day. Well worth every cent I spent!
