Description of Work: I needed a survey done on a property in Newport. I called ocean planning and within a couple of weeks of my deposit the survey was completed. everything was done over the phone, we never met. I just went on the angies list recommendation and hoped for the best. I was very happy with the service, the price was reasonable and everyone was helpful and pleasant.

Description of Work: Surveyed my home lot 100' x 100' Showed up when they said. Did take a few weeks to get the survey back but they gave three copies which I'll need to construct a garage

Description of Work: I called and talked with a woman there to let her know what I needed: A Survey show Plot lines of my Neighbors and mine property. She quoted me $1,500. I obtained other prices and Ocean State seemed to be in the same range so I figured that since I called them first they would get the business. I went there in person to contract with them for $1,500. When I got there, this same woman tried to tell me I needed something bigger that what I had asked for. She was not the most professional person nor did she seem liked they wanted to business, (the Manager sat in an open door room right next to us, but never came out to gain my business). She told me that what she quoted my was now $2,400!!!! I left and contacted someone else and paid $1,100 for a completed job that really helped me in my project. The Company I used was more than professional, from beginning to end and gave me great advice on what to do, not take me for all I am worth. $1,300 Cheaper!!! I would not recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Had my property surveyed. The job they did was fine. Would've liked a little better communication. They were a week or two behind the estimated timeframe. Didn't receive any communication regarding schedule changes despite requesting a couple days notice before work began. Otherwise, the work was fine and as expected.
