I was well informed as to how the work was going to be done. They were all very professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and the price was reasonable. Josh has one h*** of a crew. Now I have some wood soft those firepit sit downs. Thank you all

North-Eastern did exactly what I asked them to do for a reasonable price, taking down two difficult trees and trimming 2 others. I was not made aware ahead of time that the crew would need to bring a heavy-duty bucket truck through my backyard to do the work. As a result, some deep tire tracks and depressions were left on my lawn. In addition, the crew left beind several small branches. Thus, I could only give them 4 stars.

I wish I could review this company's work, but it didn't happen. This is a report of deplorable customer service. The company was quick to send an arborist to give an estimate on August 22nd. He quoted a price that I agreed with and told me they were running six to eight weeks behind. He said he'd call late September to let me know when they'd be there to do the work. Fast forward 7 1/2 weeks and I called the company to see where I was in the queue. There was no return call. I called again the following week on a Monday, giving the same message, inquiring where I was on the list. Again, no return call from the arborist. That Friday, I called and asked for the arborist's supervisor, making my displeasure known and requested that he call me. Once again, there was no return call. Can it possibly be company policy to ignore customers who are willing to give them over one thousand dollars worth of business? Seven days after, I called the company again. At two days short of the ten week mark I fired them.

I was driving on Route 1 this afternoon. One of your driver's decided to go in the breakdown lane and try to push me off the road right at the merge before the Newport exit in a 35 mile per hour speed zone.. Mind you, there was nobody behind me, and another vehicle on my driver side. I feel this employee is a threat to other drivers on the road. It is very rainy today and the roads are very slick. He then proceeded to speed at over 80 miles per hour on the Jamestown bridge in order for to avoid me seeing his vehicle information which is RI plate# 74479 small white pickup truck. I have put in a request for a call back from a manager, and I certainly hope that I receive one. If not, I will be making a wreckless driving report with the police and provide them your company information. By the way, who the **** puts their dog in the back of a truck in freezing weather? It's obvious this driver has some anger management issues. They driver nearly cost me my life. I can see you have a terrible reputation. I just got off the phone with Beth. Very unprofessional, and come to find out the owner was the driver. I am now handling this elsewhere.

If I could give them 100 stars I would. They were fantastic! Matt came over gave me a great price, was so professional and charming! The day the two men came over to cut down the tree and some limbs on other trees I was so impressed by the great relationship Matt had with them. It was obvious they really liked and respected him. The two men who cut down the trees and limbs could not have been nicer and so professional. These men never stopped! Even my neighbors even remarked at how hard they worked! The next day they came back and took the tree trunks etc and left my yard immaculate! I would just like to tell you that I have dealt with other tree service companies and NONE can compare too NE Tree Service! I will definitely use them again and I think you should too!

Fantastic job!!! The men were well mannered and very fast. It was like a work of art!!! The talent that these men have is incredible!

Northeast Tree is great to work with....from the time on site to provide an estimate, answering all my questions patiently; clear expectations set for their lead time and scheduling; keeping commitments to complete the job so it would not conflict with another project on the property and the quality of the job. These trees were located in a position that required care to cross a manicured lawn and retain the existing landscape around them....immaculate job. This is not our first time using them and we pan to hire them again for additional work in the fall. Professional from beginning to end. I would highly recommend Northeast if you want a quality job,

Matt and His Crew did a great Job on my property specially they was real early also the professionalism was GREAT and They quote me a Great Deal. I would recommended to any Home owner

The job went very well. They crew was very professional, they worked non-stop for a whole day and cleaned up very nicely afterwards. I'm very impressed by the method they used, and obviously they are extremely experienced! However, the communication part could have been better. As other recent reviews have mentioned, I called or emailed the office, they could not give me an answer or even a schedule. I left a message or emailed the office to confirm the appointment, no reply. So I texted Dave directly at 6pm the evening before the job was supposed to be done, Dave replied and the truck broke down. So the job needed to be rescheduled. But somehow Dave and his crew worked overtime and fixed the truck, so we were able to keep the original schedule! The job was done fabulously! If they are more responsive, they would get an easy "A" rating!

When this company didn't show up within the previously arranged time frame, I called their office and was told they would arrive sometime during the next few hours. They never arrived nor did anyone call me! Needless to say, I won't call them again!

Worst customer service ever!!! Came very promptly after call to give estimate. We liked the estimator, and were impressed by his knowledge and hands-on background. Estimate was given on May 4, and we were told verbally that it would be about 3 weeks before they could do the work. We signed to contract the work on May 7 and eventually got that to them by the 9th (the email to their address was undeliverable). After that, North-Eastern never contacted me despite my eventually calling them (repeatedly) making sure they still had me on their schedule and trying to get an idea of when they would do the work. Eventually (late June) I was given the estimator's phone number. After phone tag, he gave me a date (July 10). I called when they didn't show up by mid-afternoon that day. They then showed up (without notice) first thing July 11. The work done was just satisfactory. I will not hire them again because every phone call to their office, except for the request for estimate, got answered but was subsequently ignored.

North-Eastern told me to expect it to be about 4 weeks until they could get to it. Within 2 weeks it was completed. The 3 trees were cut down in one morning. A few hours later they showed up with equipment to remove any sign of the tree and few days later they showed up and removed the stump in less than an hour. The price seemed reasonable. My priority was getting it done quickly with minimum impact on surrounding yard area. They exceeded my expectations.

Truthfully, they were so neat that I didn't even know that they had been there until I walked into my yard and saw that the tree was gone. I figured that I would see at least some wood chips in my driveway but not a one! Very pleased with the job.

I wanted to have the tree removed as soon as possible before any major winter storms. I called and set an appointment. They came out at the specified time and the quote was much better than any others that I received. I liked that he gave me money saving options. On the day they performed the work I came home from work and didn't even realize that they had been there until I saw that the tree was gone. Everything was left incredibly clean. No wood chips, sawdust, etc. I was very impressed with the quality of the work and have recommended them to several friends.

These guys were awesome. In a fairly steady rain they showed up to work. What could have been an all day affair took half the time. Only able to use ropes they did a great job taking the tree down with far less damage to the yard as I expected. They cleaned up better than expected especially considering it was raining. The crew were great guys. Recommend them highly.

Really, really badly. While I was in the house, they cut all of the lower branches off, leaving an unsightly version of what had been a perfectly shaped tree. Their justification for doing it was that it was easier to move with the bottom branches removed. Really, really bad.

They were pretty good. I see them all over the place they have all kinds equipment. They're bonded and insured. They did a good job. It was clean and neat, not a stick laying on the ground.

The job went great, they were punctual, professional and everything was done by noon. I don't know how they compare on pricing (this wasn't something where I could really spend a lot of time calling around on cost). I would absolutely hire them again, I was very impressed with the work.

Quick to come and give a quote (good), took a few calls for them come and do do the spraying. It was raining lightly the day they came, so they were scheduled another day. The sparaying seemed to kill the bag worms. Will use them again.

North-Eastern Tree Service Inc did an excellent job! This is the second time I have used this company and would definitely recommend them.

Upon the recommendation of neighbors and another tradesperson, I contacted Northeastern for an estimate. The woman I spoke with on the phone was great and was able to schedule an appointment that fit my irregular work schedule. The estimator was scheduled to arrive between 12 and 3 on the agreed date. At 2:45, I received a call from the estimator saying that he would be unable to make our appointment but that he would come by the next morning at any time that was convenient for me. He gave me 9 am as a ballpark estimate. It is now 1pm on the "makeup" day and he has neither called nor visited. I understand that unforeseen circumstances sometimes arise. However, I was not afforded the courtesy of a phone call. I will be using another tree service.

Very well. Price was very good, work completed timely.

Branches were piled on my front lawn. I was unable to walk down my walkway to get to my car. I was told they are only doing their job. I called the office and was put on hold. I was then told the crew is aware and will remove. Clock is ticking and they are not moving too quickly

North-Eastern Tree rocks! I got a call from Scott after he saw my last review about some stump grinding work. They ground down the main stumps but several others were missed because I didn't mark them and was not on site to point them out. Scott called me back and said he would come and do the rest of the stumps, free of charge. I marked them all ,and came home yesterday to a completely stump-free yard. I am thoroughly impressed - I have dealt with some lousy companies, but this went above and beyond. I am very thankful! Scott, if you read this, I owe you a beer or twelve. Looking forward to using North-Eastern Tree in the future.

First off no call no show like 3 times. Then after getting mad and complaining they finally showed up. They had to return about 3 times and be hounded to do all the work to specification. If I was not such a stickler I am sure the job would not have been done right. They came to remove a cherry tree and took the wood despite the fact that I had huge wood piles all over my yard. I was obviously collecting wood. and I have a wood burning pit in my back yard as well. They did not even ask. They just took it. And if anyone knows anything about wood will know cherry tree wood is some of the finest burning wood for indoor fireplaces. It burns almost as hot as oak only it is not as smoky and it smells better. Then I tried to talk to the guy about it and it was just an awful experience. It was about $400 worth of wood at least. I wish I had read yelp reviews before hiring them. Angie's list shows stellar reviews but on yelp their reviews are less than stellar.
