I contacted Malone Plumbing and Heating about the water stains around ducts leaking onto ceiling. I got quick response stating that they don’t work on hvac units and was referred to another contractor. I appreciate the information.

The person sent to repair everything was great and profesional. I believe his name was John. He was great and explained everything. I called last minute and they came the same day. A+ I would recommend to anyone with heating problems.

Not well, 2 visits still no results...

This is the second time I've used Malone Plumbing and Heating. They snaked two bathroom sinks and tub, then cleaned and serviced our gas furnace. They explained everything that was done and readily answered questions. I would definitely call them again.

John and Nelson showed up at 8am sharp and got right to work. It was also discovered that the "Fast-Fill" valve, that adds water to the boiler as needed, was clogged shut with rust since it was an older cast iron one. They first needed to replace that in order to address my original leaky vent/tank. Within the first half hour all parts were replace and they could begin purging the system of air and perform a full cleaning of the boiler itself. I have owned this house for 8 years and have never had the boiler cleaned given its natural gas and typically does not need it. One thing John noticed right away was that of the 2 burners in the boiler, one was not even lit. There was an obstruction keeping gas from reaching that burner. I had explained that our boiler runs 20+ hours a day in the winter and has a lot of trouble keeping the house warm. Mind you this has been this way for 8 years and we just assumed our house was cold due to poor insulation and age. John cleaned the failed burner and got the system back to 100% operation. We were essentially only heating our home with half the btu's of this boiler since the water was only being heated by one burner. All I can say is thank you so much! Our house is now warmer than ever and the boiler has no trouble keeping up. In the past on cold winter days the 1st floor would only heat to about 58 degrees and the boiler would run all day with not increase at all. Malone saved us from thinking we would need a new boiler and also was very honest about what parts were still good vs which ones should be replaced. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will continue to use them for all of my plumbing and heating needs.

Embarassingly, I just didn't know how to work my boiler (new house). Tom was great and basically taught me how to work my house. He also replaced a radiator valve and helped me figure out an issue with my washer while he was there.

They were quick, responsive and professional. Would not hesitate to call them again.

As usual, they did an excellent job. From pricing the job to cleaning up after the job, every thing was perfect. I have to admit that I have used them before Angie's List even existed but I wanted to write a review. For this particular job they also needed to replace pipes. Tom always tells you every thing that needs to be done for the job to be done right. I trust his judgement and between this job and all the others that he has done for me on my different properties, those jobs have been done right the first time. The thought has never even crossed my mind that I would have to call him again to adjust or re-work a job. Some people have told me his prices were a little high, but I don't mind paying for peace of mind knowing that the job was done and done right!!! If there was a rating higher than an A I would give them that rating.

Two plumbers came within a few days and spent the majority of the day completing the job. Tom also came and spent several hours analyzing the best set up and making sure everything was done appropriately. They did a superb job and advised me that the old venting system was nearly obstructed with lint. A fire was possibly avoided as well as damage to my new tankless hot water heater. I highly recommend Malone Plumbing and will continue to use their service when needed.

Jim Malone got back to me promptly. Was out the next day. installed dishwasher and very pleased with work completed. Would hire them again.

I contacted the company and a plumber was dispatched to my house within an hour. Both the person I spoke with on the phone and the plumber who worked at my house were very respectful and professional. ?The plumber, John, replaced my old, inefficient toilet with a new one. ?He got a good price on a new toilet, picked it up at a local plumbing fixture store?and installed it. ?His work was neat and professional. ?The toilet works great. ?Very pleased with this company, and I will definitely be calling on them in the future.

My garbage disposal burned out and started leaking about 8:30 in the morning. I went on to Angie's List (having never used a plumber in this home before) and found Malone Plumbing. I called, they answered the phone, took my info, and told me some would come between 10-12 that day. They called me when they were on their away, and when they arrived in my parking lot. They were very pleasant and professional, completed the installation of the new garbage disposal promptly, and also adjusted my shower head at no charge while they were there. Price is a little high, as others have noted, but I believe you get what you pay for. I would definitely hire them again.

I searched Angie's list for a local, highly rated plumber. I needed someone to come today to replace my leaking hot water heater. Tom Malone got right back to me and was at my house within the hour. He examined the old heater and what pipes needed replacing and gave me a verbal estimate. He returned four hours later with the new water heater and got right to work. He was very particular with my carpeting and flower garden that he needed to walk through for access to my house. The work was done within two hours and the total cost was just what he said. Before he left he insisted I check all the faucets and toilets to be sure there were no issues. Tom and his coworkers were very pleasant and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company for their quick response time, quick, neat work and willingness to answer all questions. I was very impressed.

It has been 8 years since I have had to call a plumber and when my tenant complain of leaking kitchen sink I referred to Angie's list. Malone plumbing had a very good rating so I gave them a call and left a message. Mr. Malone called me back the next day and spent time with me discussing my situation and made suggestions as to what could be done efficiently and economically. I made an appointment for a few days later at 8:00 am and at 8:00 am john and Justin showed up. The were very nice, professional , knowledgable and discussed additional work that should be done. I didn't feel pressured to do the work, in fact they gave me advice on how to complete the work in stages. Since I haven't worked with other plumbers in a while, I can't comment on Malone's pricing. But when making the appointment, the pricing structure was clearly described and the final bill was no surprise. I would recommend Malone plumbing to anyone and will continue to use them for plumbing and heating.

It was amazing, they are so great. We have always used them. They come out do their job, and they are so friendly, and affordable.

This is my second time hiring Malone Plumbing. I find their work to be excellent, they are professional and punctual though not inexpensive. I give Malone Plumbing an 'A' on price because the price is fair based on the work performed, their professionalism and they have been generous with me with helpful tips and advice with my heating system(one-zone steam radiators which is not for the faint of heart to maintain). I am willing to pay top dollar for good service, and quality work when it comes to plumbing. I have had too many bad experiences with plumbers who do hack work(what is easiest for them) that I end up having to hire someone else to re-do, or repair the damage they do to other structures to install the plumbing. Mr. Malone, the owner, came out to do the work in my particular job and he is very nice, professional and generous as well, with advice. Good experience. Would definitely hire them again.

I called them a week before they came to do the job. The guy ran a late that day due to car troubles. He took a pic and emailed me an estimate the next day. They were a little higher than another plumber I had asked to come out, however they were going to provide a better pipe to replace the rotted pipe. I decided to schedule the service on the 18th. They came on-time and replaced the pipe in about 90 min time. I am very happy with my new pipe. They did a great job and cleaned up all the mess. I will be using them again for all my future needs.

Malone's is great. I've used them a couple times now and I've always been pleased with their work and professionalism. On both occasions, they let me hang out and watch the work (for future reference) and explained everything they were doing, how it worked, and why. They also let me know about things that may be potentially problematic in the future and how to avoid them. Very informative. Priced fairly. Will definitely use their services again.

Excellent! They've never been the cheapest quote but the high-quality, solid work they provide is worth it. Every point of contact is always INSANELY professional. I recommend Malone.

The work went smoothly, but was definitely not easy. They had to run the gas line through an inaccessible section under the floor and drill through about 2 ft of brick to access the fireplace. This took a lot of know how and the right tools. Two workmen were here for roughly 5 hours. Besides doing the work, we received some advice on possibly rerouting kitchen water pipes which sometimes freeze when it gets to be single digits due to their proximity to (and confinement in a small space near) an outside wall in basement. We received fast service in Malone coming to provide an estimate, scheduling the work, and showing up on time. We receive two other estimates from other plumbers for about the same amount, but then no response from them after that. The job was not inexpensive, but we got the quality of service that we expected and paid for from Malone.

I've used Malone plumbing several times over the years , and they have always been professional and got the job done in a timely fashion.

Woke up this morning to find my toilets not flushing and brown water coming out of the shower drain.? I commute into the city so I get up very early, they took my call at 5:30, an on-call tech called me back at 6, and Jim called me around 7:30 to schedule someone coming out here at 8:30.? They arrived a couple minutes late, but here it is now 10:25 and they just left the job, pulling out all sorts of stuff from the main line (guessing build-up over time from the previous owners as I only moved in about 3 months ago), and my toilets are flushing and shower is not backing up any more? Not only that but the guys gave me a 5% discount due to my Angie's List membership.? All-in-all, another great experience using Malone Plumbing & Heating, and I will be using them again.
