Malone's service combines friendly personnel with plumbing expertise and fair pricing. Our heating unit was not working, though our furnace was firing, so I wasn't sure what was wrong (I know nothing about these units). Malone arrived first thing in morning following a call the previous afternoon and got us up and running in no time. It should be noted that we called another plumbing service prior to Malone who quoted us around $1k! I couldn't be any happier with Malone and will be using them in the future for any plumbing or heating needs.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!! These guys are the BEST!!! The customer service was OUTSTANDING (I know I'm using too many exclamation points, but I just can't say enough good things about them). When you call, a terrific guy named Tom answers the phone and schedules the work. He's wonderful. As I said, within a period of several weeks, I needed perhaps 3 or 4 repairs done, and in each case, the crew showed up within 24 hours (except for the heating problem--they worked hard to fit me in and took care of the problem within 2 hours--they found it to be a simple repair). They call when they're on their way, they give accurate estimates, the quality is top-notch. I can't say enough good things about them.

Leak was stopped but no further work done to avoid damaging the older plumbing system

We had an emergency hot water tank failure on Sunday. I'm pretty sure thats the norm so went in to this repair knowing I would pay a premium to get someone out here to fix it. John, who has done work at my residence before, showed and got right to work. He was there only a few hours and made sure everything was working as normal and that his area was cleaned up. I can't recommend Malone Plumbing enough. They are honest, fair, and responsive.

Very good experience from the call to completion of service. Work was fully explained, plumber arrived punctuality, was pleasant and professional, work was completed everything left clean and working perfectly.

I am remodeling my master bathroom so I called Malone for a quote to install a new toilet, 24" vanity, and a mixing valve in the shower. Jim called me back promptly and was very professional, we set up an appointment a few days later with one of his plumbers - Eric. He arrived on time the day of the appointment and was also very professional and informative. The only downside I experienced with Malone was the price, they gave me an estimate for $4,800 (yes, you read that correctly) for the aforementioned work. I received two estimates prior to Malone which were $1,300 and $1,000 for the same work. I've received some crazy estimates in the past for other work, but never this crazy. I'm not sure why or where this number came from but it was pretty insulting. I would recommend Malone based on professionalism and knowledge, but I would definitely not have them be my only bid on the job.

I was contacted promptly, less than 1-2 hours after reaching out to schedule a time to get an in-home evaluation and estimate of work. The representative arrived on time and determined that it would be extremely involved to add heating. We decide not to upgrade our heating at this time, but the representative was extremely helpful and took a full hour of his time to evaluate the options we could consider. He took pictures, discussed the practicality of what it would take to add baseboard heat and the owner even called to follow-up to double-check on what had been evaluated. A cost was not discussed, but it was worth noting how helpful this company was in giving us perspective on what it would take to add heating to this part of our home.

I contacted this company and spoke with Jim. He was very courteous and professional. I told him the problem. He was able to fit me in within a reasonable timeframe. In the interim, I discovered that the shutoff valve did work. It was a small valve that needed to be screwed down tightly in order to close off the water supply. This left me with a simple fix to the line which a neighbor helped to fix within minutes. As such, I no longer needed the services of a professional plumber. When I contacted Jim, the day before the appointment, and told him that the issue was resolved, he was again very polite and professional and had no qualms with me canceling the appointment. Thank you Jim!

They came, assessed the problem, and got to work. It was not an easy or pleasant job, but they were able to work with minimum interruption to our daily lives. It took more than one visit. The job was completed and the result was very satisfactory. I have no idea regarding pricing, but appreciated the fast response to a service call. However, I didn't appreciate their trying to have me call a company to do an additional job that later turned out to be un-necessary!

5:00 a.m. PDT- I got the dreaded call at from my mom, the tenants renting my home complain to her that they don't have hot water. Living 2500 miles away didn't matter, I still don't have a plumber to call that I like and trust. I called 4 plumbing companys, referrals and names I had saved over the years. 6:30 a.m. PDT - With no response back I went on Angie's List to find a plumber or anyone that would call me back. I called one company , the one with the most good reviews- Malone . 6:45 a.m. PDT - They returned the call and scheduled to come by at 12:00 p.m. EDT. 9:00 a.m. PDT - Truck arrives, tech immediately identifies the problem, makes the repair. 10:45 a.m. PDT - Tech leaves, job complete. Payment processed. My tenants haven't even gotten home from breakfast yet! 2:30 p.m. PDT - Still waiting........waiting for any one of the four plumbers to call me back. So, would I use this company again ? Why would I NOT use them again ?!?

I was replacing a vanity in my bathroom and the drain pipe broke. I called Malone Plumbing and two men came over the next morning. It took about 3 hours and they even installed the new vanity for me. Great service.

When we called they were very responsive and made an appointment on the phone for a specific time. (not a service window)Ken, the plumber was prompt and polite throughout the repair and had a replacement pump on his truck. Everything was done in an efficient manner and we are very happy with the work performed. We would definitely hire them in the future.

Perfectly well - pipe was replaced and all old pipe and materials were hauled away. Fast and efficient.

Great. The owner came out this time and checked the toilet and explained why there was really no problem, and didn't charge me for the stop. Plumbers, and most trained servicemen, are expensive, so I think this company is probably in the average range for that, or slightly higher...but you have someone responsible doing the job right.

Malone Plumbing was hired by our neighbor. They parked in front of our house, and throughout the day walking back and forth to their tuck, they saved themselves about ten steps per trip by cutting through my daughter's garden and crushing half of what she planted.

Great! All very prompt, professional, & friendly. They reminded me of the 5% off the total cost as an Angie's List member. I would certainly hire them again.

1. The repairs went along fine, taking just about the time they had estimated. 2. When I pointed out that they could have been doing anything during that time, I was told that even it they hadn't just been getting the part, I would need to still pay for the time as I couldn't prove what they had been doing.

Tom was upfront over the phone on what the fees would be for the Sunday service. I agreed (what choice do you have with no heat?) and he came promptly 2 hours later. After spending an hour of time trying to diagnose, he happened to walk by the emergency shut-off switch, and noticed it in the off position. My four year old son got the better of me. When Tom realized it was my son who made a mistake, perhaps in order to keep the little guy out of trouble, he chopped about $200 off the cost, and despite the fact that we had agreed in advance to $350, he only charged me $150. He was also friendly and professional throughout. Couple that with the honesty and compassion, and I'll be sure to use him again.

The plumber was punctual, professional and courteous - and took care to provide us with the least expensive option without compromising quality of work. I called at 9am on a Monday, and they were there just an hour or two later. Great service.
