Ralph was scheduled to go on vacation the day the tub was reglazed. However, the glazer recommended another 24 hours to avoid any possible damage to the glaze while it was curing. Ralph delayed his vacation for a day so that the glaze could set up, and he wouldn't damage anything while working.

I realized at about 8:30 AM that my water heater had broken and water was all over my basement floor. I called Malone Plumbing at about 8:45 AM. They called me back at 9:50 AM and a plumber was at my home to inspect the water heater by 11:00 AM. They gave me my options for replacement and approximate costs. Once my husband and I decided to replace the tank through Malone they went and picked up a tank and were back at my home by 1:00 PM installing it. By 4:00 PM it was installed and Mike walked me through working the heating controls. I can't tell you how pleased I was for such prompt service and honest advice. Especially on a Friday when they could have scheduled the installation for Saturday when they could have received time and a half. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

It went great: they have a good crew of skillful, friendly, highly professional guys, they work fast, worked with a city permitting and inspection system which can be tough (no hitches here), keep things in order and make sure everything is done to the customer's satisfaction. This is my second time using them - the first was for some far lesser steam radiator valve replacements. I'm very pleased with the results and their magnet is permanently on my refrigerator in case of any plumbing problem.

Malone plumbing guys showed up the next day after I had called, they were on-time, clean and professional and extremely friendly. They were able to fix it right away and did a ridiculously thorough job to make sure no leaks were occurring anywhere else. They even explained to me in detail why it was leaking, even though it was a fairly simple job. Very nice guys!

My wife contacted Mr. Malone and we received a call back later that day. We explained the problem and he said he could come out the next afternoon. He asked a few questions to make sure he had the correct tools with him on the call. He showed up on time and had the problem fixed in a half an hour. The next day the contractor contacted us to make sure we were happy with the results.

Our 3rd floor tenant's bathtub would not drain. Drano didn't fix the problem and we attempted to snake it with no luck either. Called Malone plumbing and they sent someone over within an hour. He figured out the problem, fixed it and was on his way shortly thereafter. $130 is their standard service call fee, which is a little pricey in my opinion, but it is probably about average across the board I would imagine. The plumber was very polite and he explained exactly what was going on with the drain so that we knew what the issue was and hopefully will know what to look for if ever it should happen again.

Tom Malone came by to give me an estimate the same day I called. He explained in detail what would be done, as well as pointed out a few places which could be potential problems. A few days later, two of his guys came to replace the pipes. Tom showed up in the morning to check on the job. They were fast and efficient, and contained their mess. When the job was complete, they made sure all the new pipes were sound. Tom came back at the end of the day to inspect the project. I would absolutely recommend Malone Plumbing.

I called Tom Malone yesterday, just to get an estimate/see when they could come. He had time today, originally saying between 2-4 PM, after another job - actually called and came over just a little after 1 PM with his assistant (Joe, I think) - so early - which is great! They were smart and easy to deal with, upfront about the rates [reasonable], quick, professional and actually DID all the work on the spot except the radiator we need to find a replacement for. Very clean, neat, and a vast load off my mind. Given the speed and how involved the situation could have been, I'm pleased with the price also - will definitely use them again and recommend them highly!

Everything was fine except the plumber was 20 minutes late in arriving.

I was pleased with the job done by Malone s. It was my first experience having to call a plumber and I was a bit surprised by the price but have been assured by friends that it was reasonable for the job. The line drains fine now and the plumber was pleasant and polite. I recommend them.

It went pretty well. The plumber is a perfectionist, thus the job is perfect but could have been done faster (thus probably at less cost). Overall, I will use them for my plumbing needs in the future.

We were able to reach an actual plumber by phone on the first attempt. Several others either took messages or did not answer the phone. Only one other plumbing company actually returned our call and gave useful information (Phillips). We had purchased replacement faucets for bath and kitchen at a plumbing supply store, taking care to get the right size spread, etc. Plumber (Mike?) arrived punctually and got right to work. Installation was done neatly and reasonably quickly. We discovered the next day that the bath drain pipe was leaking and called back. Mike came out immediately to fix it. As it turned out, the fault was with the plumbing part that came with the faucet, not with the installation (overflow holes in wrong place for a c. 1940 sink). He replaced the pop-up assembly with a different brand and it now works perfectly. We really appreciated his taking the time to figure out what the real problem was, instead of using a band-aid solution. We'll definitely call Malone again.

Tom responded to my call within hours. He was prompt and professional and did work that I trust will last a long time. I plan to use him for more extensive plumbing projects in the future.

THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS REALLY NICE. THEY CAME IN RIGHT AFTER I CALLED THEM AND THEY DID THE JOB QUICK. THEY DID THE JOB ACCURATELY AND I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT ANYTHING.

THE WAY THEY PERFORMED THEIR WORK WAS JUST EXCEPTIONAL. WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE TOILET SINCE. THEY RESPONDED WITHIN THREE HOURS, WHICH THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD.

THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE SURE THEY KEPT THE MESS DOWN TO A MINIMUM. I WAS HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO RUN WATER DOWN THE DRAIN AGAIN. I THINK WE HAD ROOTS IN OUR SEWER LINE.

IT WAS A PRETTY EXTENSIVE JOB, AND I THOUGHT THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF STAYING ON TASK AND GETTING EVERYTHING DONE BY WHEN THEY QUOTED US. THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS AND ASKED ME IF I WAS HAPPY BEFORE THEY TOOK OFF.
