I looked to me like the toilet was leaking from underneath. I called Malone and had an appointment within 12 hours. they arrived 1 hour late but only because their dispatcher/phone person forgot to tell them Road instead of Street, so they went to the other side of the city first. John and Justin checked then toliet and feeder line and found the leak was in the supply tube. They replaced the valve and tube. I had thought it was also leaking from the toilet, but they told me I was wrong. They were correct, it turned out. They saved me the extra cost of changing the ring under the toilet by their honesty. I would definitely use them again.

This is my third time using Malone Plumbing and have been very pleased each time. The men arrived on time, assessed the problem, discussed the scope of work and provided a written estimate. They were neat and very professional and courteous. They were competent and knew what to do to get the job done as expeditiously as possible. I don't think that i am any different than others in that I don't like to pay for services more than I have to and, as with any licensed professional, one may wind up paying more a little than expected. Still, I respect the training required for this kind of work and would not hesitate in hiring them again.

I can't say enough about John. He came within 2 hours of my call. Was very competent, pleasant, efficient .Didn't waste time. Was patient when explaining the situation to me. I'll definitely call them again when needed!!!

Originally we called them for a clogged kitchen drain. They were very responsive and up front about costs. We had to schedule for the next week due to our schedule, they would have come out the same day. My wife decided to check drain on Saturday and the clog had apparently succumbed to the gallon of drain cleaner, hot water, and dawn we had been pushing down the pipe since Thursday. With the drain issue solved I called Malone to cancel. About an hour later my wife called to say that she had unsuccessfully tried to replace the ancient faucet and could not get it out.. I then called Malone who reinstated my appointment. Jim from Malone called me at 8 am per our agreement and went over what would happen, costs, etc. at 8:32 John arrived at our house. He examined the situation and pointed out areas I would have missed including the fact the sink was bowed due to our efforts to remove the faucet. He then removed the old device, prepared the area and installed the new sink. He also reassembled the drain pipes and tightened the system up. All of this took about an hour. He worked quickly and didn't make the usual ten trips to his truck for each part or tool. It was not cheap but it was done well and the information John offered will likely prevent the need for future calls. In summary, we recommend Malone and suggest you ask for John.

I waited for months to have these repairs done since a competitive plumbing company suggested the repair would be extensive and costly. The men from Malone arrived on time, were professional and courteous, and diagnosed/repaired the problems within one hour. I was actually a little embarrassed that it was such an easy fix! But I have definitely found my 'go-to' plumbing company for any future requirements. Thank you to Nestor, Justin, and Malone Plumbing.

While turning the water back on after replacing the kitchen faucet, I had pulled the stem out. Not having the right tools I needed a plumber quick. Pulled up Angie's List and called Malone. They were there 20 minutes later and the city was ten minutes behind. Thanks guys, we appreciated it. They were quick, clean, and friendly. I was charged a fair rate for the job on a holiday weekend.

I called Sunday, answering service was polite and very sweet. Received a call back from John within fifteen minutes. He was honest with regard to rates, which are VERY fair and straightforward, easy to understand. There was no pressure to pay for emergency service on Sunday and I was advised that I could call office Monday morning and that someone would be at our house on the same day (Monday). Called on Monday, talked to Jim, who was very nice. He explained pricing/rates very clearly, and again there was no pressure whatsoever. He placed me on hold and then came back on the line stating that there would be someone at my home within 45 minutes. Nestor arrived before estimated time, and this man is an absolute SWEETHEART! He couldn't have been more personable. The next time we need service, not only will we use ONLY this company to the exclusion of any other, but we will specifically request Nestor if he is available. This man should receive a raise. He worked hard and the job didn't take long at all. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and everything about him made you want to trust him completely. I can't tell you how fantastic this man is! Owner Tom stopped by, since he was in the area. He, too, was an absolute sweetheart! Polite, trustworthy, professional....there is NOTHING not to love about this company! We have dealt with many contractors and have had both good and bad. We have been taken advantage of, been pressured,. etc. This will NOT happen to you if you use Malone Plumbing. Truthfully, I have no idea why anyone would use any other company. If you don't hire this company, you're pretty much deserving of whatever happens to you. I chose this company since they were highly rated on Angie's List, and there is a DEFINITE REASON why they have such fantastic reviews! I was completely satisfied and this business has earned a customer for life! Thank you SO much Nestor and Tom!

I called this morning and was schedule for later this week. Within minutes they called me back and said someone could come today. The man showed up on time and was extremely nice. He explained everything and told me of some maintenance I could do that would prevent some of the pressure problems. We discussed a remedy for the whole house water pressure and I'll consider that after receiving their estimate. I would definitely use them again.

All technicians were prompt and professional. The best part was that Malone was honest, informing me of my city options when they could easily have come out and made a quick few hundred dollars.

Malone Plumbing did a very good job with this repair. When i initially called, they asked me to take a photograph of the broken valve and send it to them via e-mail, so that they could have the replacement part ready when they made the service call. It took a few days for them to have the proper repair parts in hand, but as soon as they received them they called and came the same day. Very punctual and professional. Work completed and area cleaned in about an hour. I would recommend Malone Plumbing and plan on keeping their number on file for the next time I need a plumber.

We called Malone Plumbing after we failed to clear a clogged kitchen sink by cleaning the trap and snaking the line to 25 feet. The team from Malone Plumbing responded immediately, kept us informed with each step they took, and quickly diagnosed the problem: a drain system that was installed incorrectly by a previous plumber (pitched upward in spots), resulting in at least 12 feet of solidly-packed drain line (food, grease, sediment). Because the diagnosis was made late in the day, they agreed to come back first thing the next business day, and they quickly replaced (and redesigned) the kitchen drain system. They were extremely fair with their pricing, professional throughout, and I will contact them again with any plumbing or heating issue we have in the future.

In the basement last week, we noticed signs of a leak from what we thought was the kitchen sink or dishwasher. I researched Angie's List to get a recommendation, found Malone, and called this morning at 7:55am. Jim asked me some diagnostic questions, said someone would be here at 9am, and told me what the charge would be ($65 to come out, $32.50/15 minutes). Not having priced out plumbing recently, I was surprised, but given all the good reviews on AL agreed to it. (Note: hearing my concern, Jim even made a quick follow-up call to me to advise that in case the drain needed snaking, there would be an extra charge.) Nestor and Justin arrived promptly (8:40am...they were early!), asked me a few relevant questions and prompty started investigating. They quickly determined that the leaking was coming not from the kitchen, but rather from the toilet in the neighboring half bath. (Apparently, when the toilet ran, water was condensing on the outside of the pipe and causing a drip.) They noted a couple of potential problems with the toilet--we're hoping to redo that bathroom shortly anyway--and promptly left. Easy diagnosis, professional service, and inexpensive problem...I'm grateful for the outcome and very pleased with the service from Malone!

Fine. Came promptly when called even though not an emergency. Very pleasant people to work with.

Overall it went well. They arrived on time on each occasion, did what they said they were going to do in a timely fashion. They did NOT need to go elsewhere to get parts, for example, so they were both skilled and well prepared. Prices are not cheap, but prices are explained up front on the phone when you make the arrangements. We were able to pay with a VISA card. Company cheerfully accepted our Angie's List 5% coupons, presented to them after the charges were drawn up. Based on three separate experiences with Malone Plumbing, as well as comments from another friend who has used them for major work, we do not hesitate to recommend them, always keeping the price in mind. Although don't forget, you get what you pay for when it's a well run business -- getting a lower estimate may be possible, but getting lower quality might result.

The Malone's removed old, original sewer pipes that were in need of replacing. It was a big job that I combined with a few little things around the house. They responded to my call and inquiry without delay. Excellent at follow up and follow through! Not only did they do the work, but they were clean and extremely professional. Everything they stated in the proposal was done. The price was what I expected to pay, would have loved it to be lower of course! However, it was a very fair rate for all the work they did. You couldn't ask for a cleaner plumber! Not a speck of dirt or debri was left behind. Highly recommend them.

I called Malone on a Saturday and naturally got their answering service. The woman who answered was really polite and helpful, and shortly after I left her my number, John called to ask what I needed help with. I didn't know anything about our heating system (we just moved into our house) but I knew it wasn't working. He knew right away which heating system we had, which was comforting because no one else we had spoken to knew anything about it! He explained the costs - the dispatch and the hourly fee - to make sure we still wanted him to come out, and we did. He came and was shocked at how poorly installed our system was. He just kept finding one broken part after another, showing us and explaining everything he was seeing. He was only there for a half hour, because he needed parts, and since it was a Saturday, we would have to wait. He came back on Monday morning, and got us hot water for the night, but had to leave in the early afternoon due to another job he had scheduled. They waived the dispatch fee on Monday because he said it was not our fault they didn't have the parts when he came out initially on Saturday. John came back on Tuesday morning to finish up the job, and even brought my mother-in-law home when he was done (we both had to go to work that day, so she had agreed to stay to "supervise.") We were charged another dispatch fee for Tuesday, which I was kind of surprised about... but I am completely confident that the job was done really well. John told us that he also has our heating system in his home, so I really feel as though he knew exactly what he was looking at and how to repair it correctly. All in all, the bill was higher than we had anticipated, but it really wasn't worth it to us to continue to shop around when we had found someone so knowledgeable! Sometimes it's OK to pay extra for peace of mind!

they literally saved the day. I discovered at 2:30pm that the quick easy project I was pursuing in replacing my kitchen faucet hadn't quite panned out the way I'd hoped in that I was on day 3 and apparently on day one I'd cracked the hot water pipe just under the shut off, and it'd been leaking into my basement the last 3 days. I called them right away and then set to the task of cleaning up the water. They arrived shortly after I finished cleaning it up, right when they said they'd arrive, I had to leave for work almost immediately, so I showed them what I'd done, and they fixed the piped and called me on their way out before I even arrived at work. I probably won't stop trying to do-it-myself, but I'm glad I have someone I can trust to call if I mess it up again
