Description of Work: The crew from Economy Movers were great! They were very professional, worked quickly and made what could have been a stressful experience very simple and easy. Based on my experience I would not hesitate to recommend the services of this company.

Description of Work: They moved a piano from Warwick to North Smithfield on short notice with great speed and reliability and punctuality. Great service! Would use them again in a split second and recommend without reservation! (The date I used is somewhat out of line with the real date because I cannot remember the exact date)!

Description of Work: They moved a piano and the remaining furniture and a wine cooler and 300 bottles of wine from one house to another that is being renovated in an old part of town where their truck could not fit in the driveway. They carried everything from truck, across the street and into house--all with good humor. They also made a stop to drop of some office things between the houses. I will use them again.

Description of Work: They moved a large custom cabinet, oversized, heavy and with a delicate finish. Not a single problem with the move on either end.

Description of Work: We bought a sectional and decided to move it ourselves. Unfortunately, we could not get them up the stairs to the second floor. The company we bought the furniture from said they could come out and try to get the pieces up the stairs. When we told them it wouldn't fit they said they still had to come out and try and charge us for that visit then charge us again to hoist it up. I thought this was ridiculous so I went to Angie's List to see what I could find. I found Economy listed and as they were less than ten minutes away and had very good reviews, I decided to contact them for a quote. It was late evening so I sent them an email asking them to contact me. They called the next morning. I explained my situation with the added stipulation that I was trying to get the pieces moved as soon as possible as it was Christmas time and we wanted them set up by Christmas. The woman who called explained the price. When I asked how soon, she said they could squeeze me in the next day! I agreed. The three men arrived a little late but not late enough to be troublesome. The three men were professional and pleasant. They wasted no time in getting to work and to my amazement they had moved three couches to the third floor and removed one couch in about an hour, including the paperwork! I was impressed with their competence, speed and thoroughness. I would have no hesitation about using them again or recommending them to friends.

Description of Work: Moved large Dining Room (table, 2 hutch pieces, glass top for table, 8 chairs); leather reclining couch & chair; side table; large outside patio table & 6 chairs, area rug, and few boxes.

Description of Work: We have used many movers over our years and always had the same issue. They would send 3-4 people and there were only 2 working and the others were on break. The men from Economy never stopped. We provided lunch both days and they did not take a break until the trucks were loaded. We would definitely use them again!!!

Description of Work: Moved 5 rooms from Seekonk to Warwick. Overall VERY satisfied with their service. My only issue was that they didn't pack my lamps (2 floor lamps and 6 table lamps). I was told that they were afraid they might break them. (I got this second hand) Wasn't a problem since I moved from a relatives home to my own and I could fit them in my truck. Nothing was broken upon arrival and the guys were QUICK and EFFICIENT! I would DEFINITELY use this company again in the future.
