I had heard horror stories about other moving companies,but we had no problems with the Consumer Moving Company or the men that moved us. + -1 moreThe crew of three men arrived on time and worked very hard to avoid damage and meet all my requests for special handling. The crew was courteous and friendly. The job was done with very minimal damage (I consider some damage or scratches to be inevitable in a household move). Though I had requested boxes for my mattress and boxspring, the crew only had plastic bags available for this purpose. Because one of the bags tore during the move, the mattress was slightly soiled. Not a big deal, though, considering the astonishingly low cost of the move. NOTE: Consumers Moving and Jones Moving and Storage are owned by the same people.
Description of Work: A household (2 bedroom apartment) move within Rhode Island. Move distance was about 20 miles.

+ -1 moreTHIS COMPANY WRAPPED MY FURNITURE IN THEIR BLANKETS. THEY ARRIVED A FEW MINUTES BEFORE SCHEDULE. THEY WERE PLEASANT AND TOOK CARE NOT TO BANG INTO ANYTHING. I THOUGHT THE COST WAS LOW.
Description of Work: I HAD THIS COMPANY MOVE MY BEDROOM FURNITURE AND A FEW SMALL THINGS.
