This contractor is a thief. He is completely unprofessional and stole my money from the job and walked off the job without completing the contracted work. He left my home with even more damage after he walked off the job. I had paid him for more than 75% of the job as I trusted him and had known him from other people and work that he had done and he still refused to complete the work as contracted to do so. He was completely negligent and caused a great deal of damage to my property on top of the contracted work that still needed to be completed when he took off. Do not use this contractor as there were serious problems with this contractor and all he wanted was more and more money without doing the work. And as if taking off after destroying my property wasn't enough, I went to the contracting board for help in RI. They in turn started to hear the case and then allowed John Fisher more time to go out and get a lawyer. And after their continuation, they then told me that he could hire a lawyer and in turn sue me for the remainder of the contract in order to keep working on other job with his license. And this is exactly what John Fisher turned around and did...he actually hired an attorney and held up my job for more than a year and a half in order to not give me my money back. And due to the state of RI contracting laws, he was able to try to sue me for the remainder of the contract and hold up any decision made by the contracting board so that they in turn had to dismiss the case while this was heard in actual district court. File still shows on the RI contracting board as resolved and this was never the case. John Fisher has never given me back my money that he stole from me for this project. And the contracting board will not reopen the case as insurance company is involved so they still have this listed as resolved when in fact it is not and they do not list this on the contracting board site as moved to district court. John Fisher took more than 45k of my money and has not paid back a cent and has also cost me more than another 25k in damages to my home. Stay away from him and his company. It is awful that a criminal like him can get away with this over and over again. And it still is continuing to happen to others.
