If i could give them zero stars i would. Was quoted $550-$650 for my 550 square foot, one bedroom move (to another smaller one bedroom). Gave my deposit. Morning of the move, the movers completed the move out in 45 minutes and the move in, in 1 hour and 15 minutes (because one of the two workers decided to check out my entire apartment and proceed to make comments about taking a shower there rather than help unload the truck). We were somehow charged $920 for a move that took, with travel, under 4 hours. At $159 an hour the math just doesn’t add up. No materials were used and nothing extra added on. We were told that there was a two hour minimum for travel to allow the workers to get to and from their office even though they were coming from the same zip code and their office where they depart was only 10 minutes away. Michael the “manager” said they had the two hour minimum in case they “hypothetically ran into traffic” except how can you charge one hour of travel on each end for a 15 minute drive. This was not explicit in the initial phone call or quote (which i only received after i moved) and made myself believe that the two hours of travel was the total travel time for the entire move. DONT USE THESE SCAMMERS! They get you to make a deposit by telling you a low ball price that isn’t reflective of all the charges they tack on at the end. Not to mention, when we called to speak with the manager, he insulted us by saying we clearly didn’t understand. I would never recommend or use again!

The movers were great and very professional that’s the only reason for the two stars. However this company is just robbing people. They omit information and don’t really care about your schedule once they have your deposit in hand. In the end you’ll get charged twice whatever they alluded to from the beginning that’s even if you asked the right questions. It should not cost close to 1k to move a one bedroom apartment 20 minutes away - for just a bed dresser nightstand 4 chairs a small dining table and small bar a sofabed and tv. I moved all my boxes and everything else myself.

The two main guys were trying to change my moving date and time because they had 20 other moves they’d scheduled, despite the fact that I booked the specific date and time weeks in advance. I was told I was being negative because I couldn’t change the date or time. On the day of the move, one of the movers (Rafi) was fantastic. He was professional, efficient, polite, and hardworking. The other, Eric, was ACTIVELY wasting time, double wrapping things already wrapped, stalling out in the truck, driving far slower than necessary. Rafi did 80% of the work and had to wait around for Eric to come back inside. When I let one of the main guys, Jonathan, know about it before they’d even unloaded the truck, he said “that doesn’t sound like Eric,” despite the fact that Rafi had been frustrated with Eric from the moment they arrived at my apartment. And despite Eric being right in front of me when I voiced my complaints to his boss, he continued to move slower than molasses. Eric also didn’t know how to get the truck close to the apartment and ended up blocking another car when he tried. Rafi had to take over for him before they got it done, all the while being on the clock. Despite Jonathan and Michael telling me repeatedly that they’re “customer-centric,” three out of four of the men I dealt with for this move were completely unprofessional and focused on themselves over all else. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Oh, and Eric kept ripping the $15 mattress bag they’d put on my bed and still managed to get the mattress dirty in the end.

Worst moving experience of my life and I’ve hired movers 5 times in the past 12 years this was horrendous. I told the two men what had to be taken and what could be left behind they did not listen and started moving everything. All that had to be moved was 8 pieces of furniture of which I already broke down and some boxes. I watched as one of them instead of moving found a bag of hangers in my closet and proceeded to wrap it violently in tape. Most of the time is wasted as he reads to you what you need to sign while the other stands around. At the destination I asked them to please leave boxes in the kitchen against a wall and kitchen closet again did not listen . Dropped a butcher block table left boxes in the middle of the kitchen on top of butcher block that was not put together hence it almost fell and killed my cat . Was told they could not get my dresser a tiny dresser up the stairs ( in their Defense I moved into an attic apartment) after charging me almost 800 dollars I asked if they could please hoist the dresser that weighed about 15 lbs onto the roof of the porch that took them 3 minutes . I guess once they we’re off the clock they a actually could move fast. The main person Eric refused to answer my questions or even speak to me the other person was polite yet appeared to be on some kind of speed..

Company should be called “All my thieves moving” they stole all several items from me and took zero responsibility and gave me the run around for weeks and finally decided they weren’t going to refund me any amount whatsoever for the move or the stoles items. I have files a formal complaint with the BBB. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE HIRE THIS AWFUL COMPANY.

First, let me be clear, the two young men that came and moved our items were excellent. They were polite and worked quickly and carefully. We gave them their tip despite the fleecing we got from the company. When you initially call to make the moving arrangements and speak to Andrew or Mike, butter would melt in their mouths. They gave me a very good rate despite the fact that they had to make 2 additional stops to collect items from a storage locker and my office. I have moved some 26 times. I am a meticulous packer. All furniture items were empty and small pieces. The company, which is not local, but is out of Houston, Texas, did send a confirmation with their rules and specifications. This included a paragraph about “moving materials” for which you would be provided a list informing you of what they cost. At the end of the move I was presented with a bill for $300 more than anticipated. I was informed by the movers that it was for packing materials. I naturally lost my mind! I contacted the company and spoke with Mike. He was astonishingly rude and told me to read my contract. He said that his employee reported that they used bubble wrap, tape and shrink wrap. No bubble wrap was used. Instead of belts, they used packing tape to secure blankets around two pieces of furniture. I was a bit surprised but grateful that they put plastic wrap around 3 pieces of furniture. But $300! They would not budge despite the fact that I said I wanted to use them again in a month after we close on our house....he couldn’t care less. They will give you a “break” on the hourly rate then extort the $300 from you. Do yourself a favor and chose some other company.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER. I booked an 11a move, I was called at 730am by Andrew(?) the day of the move to ask if I could accommodate a sooner time as they had several cancellations. I agreed, and for my trouble I was offered $50 off. The move came, the movers did not pack anything, I only noticed the use of packing tape. I live in a one bedroom apartment, moving to my first home in the same town, total cost around $700. When I paid I asked the mover whom I was doing the transaction with if it included the $50 off I was told about in AM, "yup" I got. The movers left my king sized mattress in my living room (bedroom is upstairs), I had to call them back to bring it up. I noticed several items had new damage (not huge, but damage nonetheless). Not to mention, we are missing a set of weights and I am now noticing I'm missing a small stash of infection control items I had (bottles of alcohol/hand sanitizer/hand soap) stored for future use. When I called the office to discuss the issues, I was told I needed a receipt for proof of purchase of items I couldn't locate post move (ok, like everyone keeps a receipt for everything they buy???) I also inquired at how they quotes me $60 for materials when I had only seen the packing tape/mattress cover used - he said it was also for shrink wrapping - seems rather high to me still at this rate. I requested an itemized bill which I received and reviewed...then called back the next day. During this call I also inquired about the $50 off because at this point I had no faith in this & wasn't reflected on the bill sent to me the day prior, the employee on the phone stated that he had no idea what I was talking about but it was not reflected on my bill. The only thing I was offered was to file a lengthy claim and provide receipts for items missing, which of course I did not have. It was my first time utilizing a moving company, and honestly it was a nightmare. I was robbed, robbed of my money by paying too much for terrible service and of course lost of a few personal items to add salt to the wound.

First off, they were scheduled to be at my apartment before 5pm. They didn’t show up until 5:40 and started the job at 5:45. I paid for 2 hours at $479.00. Almost the first hour down, they barely had my children’s bed taken apart and one tv bubble wrapped. I was told they could have my belongings moved within that 2 hour time frame. Mind you, it was 2 beds, 3 TVs, which 2 went in my own vehicle, a couch, a tv stand and a couple dressers and boxes they needed to move. They moved maybe 6 items and i ended up having to pay for an additional hour which ran me another 139. So, ultimately i spent nearly 700 dollars to move a small apartment into a new house and all that was done was damage to my property, a few items moved, and I’m basically doing the move by myself. Not to mention, one of the movers blamed my 6 year old child for damage to my coffee table. A SIX YEAR OLD CHILD BEING BLAMED FOR THEIR RECKLESSNESS. Never again! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

They arrived with 1 extra mover for a total of 3 guys, which ended up being a good idea on their part. They moved quickly...maybe too quickly because three pieces of furniture got damaged. I filed a claim with them and what did I receive...a $60 check. Three pieces a furniture down the drain...awesome.

The movers were polite, but disorganized. Many surfaces were scratched. The movers moved few boxes into the house, they filled the 2 car garage, then the back porch. After the closing we had to quickly arrange for an extra large UHAUL truck, so we could complete moving ourselves. I contacted All My Sons the next day to complain, but never received a response. The final bill was more the $300 more than the estimate, even though they didn't do the move requested.

They had to make a second trip because they did not have a truck big enough for all of our stuff. They came and did the job, but I think that the most important thing that people need to know is that they have to be very clear more than once about the quantity of items of which they are moving -- the amount of stuff being moved. They underestimated what was communicated. You would almost like to request that they come to your location to do that instead of trying to communicate over the phone. They packed our kitchen and nothing got broken.We had nothing that was broken including several large screen TV's. They made two stops -- one to a storage a facility and one to an apartment.

They arrived on time. The only thing they did right They scratched furniture. We had a rep come out before the move and he assured me he didn't need to see the second floor apartment we were moving the furniture to. Two sleeper sofa's wouldn't fit up the stairs to the second floor. I had to give away the two sofa's, one cost $1100..00 ten months ago and the other was a Lazy Boy about three years old and cost $1350.00 when new. The estimate from the rep was $800.00-$900.00 and they charged $1100.00. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy

The guys were punctual and professional. They were careful with my stuff and put it all where I asked. They got lost going to one of my two locations and charged me for the time spent being lost (even though they were supposed to be following me).

It went well at first. However as the day progressed, the 3 men became comfortable and started to push boundaries with sexual references. They put my things in their truck with no care. My couch cushions were thrown on the floor of the truck, they were stuffing my couch (one part of it) up in the front of the truck on a shelf almost causing it to rip. It was only after I asked, could they please not put that there, that they stopped. Even though I kept saying that some of my things were fragile (a beveled ,two layered mirror that hangs on the wall to name one) and to please make sure they keep that in mind when packing all of it up, this still did not seem to matter. When we got to NY (the same day) I found one of the guys carrying my very heavy wood coffee table by him self (after I told him repeatedly both in RI and here in NY, that it takes at least two people, I caught him just as he dropped it on the sidewalk, causing the finish to crack in several places and two areas of the side of the table to chip off. While we were in the basement of the building waiting for the elevator, the headboard to my bed fell into some objects causing damage to it due to one of the guys letting it go. My side boards to my bed were also damaged. My stereo speakers must have been dropped in such a way because the corners are now smashed. My dresser also was damaged in several areas. The mirror that is beveled, when unpacked, had a broken off corner. My dining room table that is an antique, had two chips off the table top. (not sure how that happened since it was wrapped, although everything that had been wrapped prior to the drive down to NY, was no longer wrapped before being moved from the truck to the building! Once all was moved in, I complained about the damage, I was told to call a number and their insurance would cover it. Feeling somewhat confident and trusting, (foolishly) I paid the bill. I called the insurance co. They asked that I take pictures of everything, write a description and estimate of cost to repair or replace and mail it to them . All of which I did in a timely manner. A few months went by so I called to see what was their response. The women said they had sent me a letter a month ago (which I never received) with a quote of which she would not tell me for how much on the phone. She said she would resend it and checked my address (which was wrong but corrected). A week later I got their response and was offend and disappointed. My estimate of damages was around $3,500.00. They sent me a offer of $214.00 When I sent a letter of refusal they responded with sending the same letter for the same $214.00 offer! Moving was the most stressful experience I have ever had. I have heard stories of peoples things being held hostage for more money, once delivered or other crazy things. I really thought these guys were different. Now I have to live with the damages and be reminded that I paid for these damages! I did not settle for the $214.00 because there is a gag order in the settlement. I would rather tell people about this company then get settle for their offer! Make sure you always read the small print no matter how nice the sales guy is. Yopu will find that you more or less sign away your rights for any recourse!

From the first phone call to get a quote All My Sons was responsive to all my needs. Alex was the primary contact and was great. The crew that handled my move arrived on time and was efficient yet careful. The attention to planning as they prepared to load and unload saved time in the long run which meant it also saved me money. I would definitely recommend there services.

The movers were very nice, and they did not damage anything. But what should have taken them an hour to pack an hour to unpack and 10 minutes tops for transportantion took them 4. I had to pay an extra 134 which I wasn't planning on. And i didn't find out the total till after I tipped them! They also didn't even reset up the furniture all they did was drop it off. I would not use this service again. I called the office to see why it was so much, they were supposed to get back to me and never did.

They broke a patio table for which I'm still trying to get reimbursement, and then they used multiple methods of charging extra after the fact. After many calls (without receiving calls back as promised) I did manage to get them to refund the additional money, but it was a hassle and shouldn't have happened in the first place.

They sent someone to do the inventory as well, which was an extremely high estimate for the work. He was even making ethnic remarks, which made us very uncomfortable.; my daughter even called the company to tell them about it and that she did not appreciate it.
