A-1 Glass Service

I had a cracked window by a rock thrown while mowing the lawn. Called Al Tierney in the morning, that afternoon came to look at the job. He had to special order glass. Within a week repair was completed. Very professional and very reasonably priced. I'll definitely use him again if the need arises.

A pleasant experience all around.

I made an appointment for Friday at 1:30. At 1:50, I received a phone call from the service provider stating that they were running late and would be at my home in 30-45 minutes. I said that was fine. At 4:05, the service provider had still not showed up. I called back and left a message asking what had happened and if they were still coming. No one ever called me back. Four days have passed as of the time I am writing this review and I still have not heard back or gotten any explanation as to what happened.

A little over 1 year ago, we contacted A1 GLASS SERVICE located at 407 WOODBINE ST. in CRANSTON RI to replace a front window. A few months ago, we noticed condensation & fogging between the panes. We called & left a message for the company detailing the problem. That was 1/6. Since that time, we have contacted them by phone and/or email a total of 11 times. The owner did call back on 2 occasions (1/8 and 1/ 26) & told us that the window would have to be replaced. Both times he indicated that he would call me back the next day. We have not heard back from him. Although the window was installed over 1 year ago, we have not had this problem with other windows in our home (not installed by A1 Glass Service & much older). According to the BBB website A1 GLASS SERVICE Is not accredited, but the company's website includes the BBB accreditation symbol. The reason we called this company in the first place was because I saw that it was accredited.

It didn't go well. The services I was seeking were not performed.

I'm very satisfied with all aspects of the business interaction. The owner was friendly and professional. He returned phone calls promptly, pricing was reasonable and the work done as promised.

Gentleman was professional and replaced a broken window that we could not safely remove from the frame ourselves.

The owner, Al Tierney was great. He returned my phone calls promptly. On the day he came to install my windows he arrived early, was very professional and polite.

They were great. They came when I called them. They took the window to their shop, dropped it back and re-installed the same day.

I was looking for someone to reglaze a window and storm window that were shattered in a break-in. A-1 never returned my call.

I called the company in the morning and by afternoon a representative from the company arrived to measure the glass that needed to be replaced and provided an estimate. A week later I received a call that the glass was ready. I made an appointment for the following day. The worker arrived, installed the new glass and left the area spotless. The final price was slightly lower than the estimate. The new glass has dramatically changed the view to the outside from the family room. My only regret is that I did not have the work done sooner. A-1 fulfilled all my expectations.

Glass was cut to specifications and was ready same day. Great service.

I had a broken window pane about 12 X 8 and called three glass companies for estimates. Not only was A-1 Glass reasonably priced, they responded the same day and completed the work in under a half hour. They showed up with a truck, popped out the window, took it into the truck for 10 minutes and then returned the fixed window back into the frame. It is as if the window mishap never happened. I am very happy with their work
