Great as usual. I am a repeat customer. I have used two other pool companies in the past, and The Pool Doctor is by far the most inexpensive, thorough, helpful, and professional company. I have used their services for three years now, and I plan on continuing to use them for many years to come. They show up on time, and they communicate any issues, time changes (due to weather) promptly. They are the most reasonable by far of the three companies with whom I have done business in the past.

Saturday, They quickly isolated the problem which was a short in the mother board. They set us up with a temporary fix that allows the tub to remain heated and circulating water, therefore maintaining the quality of the water in the tub. . Today, they are in the process of getting a new board in from California Dimension One Spas. I am going ahead with a report at this time because I wanted to note how good this Vendor and the service personnel have proven to be. Over the 7 year history of our tub, there has been a problem with the electronic control panel developing moisture.. a design issue that more recent models have addressed. The Pool Dr has promptly come and replaced this control panel whenever it fogged over., and this was at no additional cost to us during the first 5 years we had the tub. Both the lead staff at Pool Dr, and the lead technician are very knowledgable, efficient, and easy to work with.

We used this contractor for two years. The first year was fine, not great. The technicians came weekly and cleaned the pool and maintained the water chemistry. They had trouble getting the water chemistry right in the beginning, not sure why. When other repairs to the system were needed, it usually took awhile for me to get someone out to the house for repairs. The second year, the technicians were spotty in terms of cleaning the pool, and they had ongoing problems getting the water chemistry right. Again, other repairs to the system equipment took awhile to get done. At the end of the season, they did not drain the water correctly. I'm not sure they really understand how to maintain automatic covers. The owner and the office staff are very professional and responsive, but I'm not sure how well-trained the technicians are. I wouldn't recommend them for a salt water pool (like ours), or for a pool with an automatic cover (like ours). They are probably fine with a traditional chlorine system.

The entire experience was positive -- the appointment took just a few days, the evaluation team was here right on schedule and the repair was made the same day (within hours).

I purchase above ground Pool from Pool doctor a couple of years ago. I have been going back ever since for supplies/service etc. They are truly Awesome. Great quality equipment and service. They actually install the pools themselves and don't sub the work out to other contractors. If something goes wrong you only need to call them. No finger pointing. Always professional and will go out of their way to make you happy. I would never considered going elsewhere. If you're price shopping you'll find that they will not be the lowest price around, but what they offer is better equipment and service for just a little bit more than your typical discount store. They sell Bioguard chemicals that work great. I just add 3 chemicals every week and the pool is perfect all year long. Great staff, good equipment, professionally run.
