These guys know their stuff! The system is incredible.... The employees were fantastic.... So far it’s been a fantastic experience.... I will update in a year..... The installation went well with no problems and was done as promised. However this spring when we called to have the system opened we waited so long that my husband opened it himself but had to shut it back down because a couple of valves were leaking. Then after some landscaping work, we needed a few heads moved and the leaks repaired and that's when the fun began. Our landscaper left a message to them directly because he wanted the heads moved before he finished his work, they never responded. We called and called and finally got someone on the phone and was told the following week would be the best they could do. My husband explained that the landscaper needed them there sooner and had previously called himself and if they couldn't do it sooner we would have to call another company. The girl said "ok then I will take you off the schedule". After getting the landscaper involved again (note: D&D was the landscapers recommended referral that's why we kept getting him involved) the owner of D&D and a worker came to the house to see what we needed to do and my husband pointed out where the underground dog fence was so they wouldn't hit it while digging. The next day they arrived to do the work and after going over where the underground dog fence was the night before they dug right through and broke the line. They were just about finished when i heard the alarm. They had to dig the area back up to fix it and the entire job took perhaps 45 minutes. I then received a bill for $300 to open the system and another charge to move the heads. I paid the charge to move the heads and sent them a letter explaining that they never opened the system and then they insisted they did. i explained my husband only shut the system back down because of the leaky valves. Then and said that the $300 was actually for the two guys labor for the moving of the heads and opening the system and it took 2 hours because the line they were working on was under a dog pen which I authorized them to move to get the work done. They even said they moved the dog pen back and that they never broke the dog fence. They actually did a great job repairing the broken dog fence, however WE DO NOT HAVE A DOG PEN AND THEY NEVER OPENED THE SYSTEM! After going round and round and never getting anyone on the phone to talk to we decided to just pay the bill and move on. It was easier to do that than to try to reason with people that don't tell the truth and make up stories. Very unprofessional and customer service is horrible if you can even get someone on the phone!
