The employee from Airhart was prompt and courteous. However, he was misinformed by his company as to what needed to be done for the job. The lamp post's electrical line had been cut by a landscaper planting some shrubs in our yard and I told them that on the phone. I also told them that I had intended to dig the trench myself and locate the break in the line. He was told he would have to troubleshoot the problem and do any digging himself which would have easily eaten up my two hours of labor that was pre-paid. When he called his company to inform them that the job was not as described, they recalculated my bill based on his new estimate. In addition to the $199.00 I had prepaid for the labor, I was charged another $291.00 for an additional hour of labor (digging) and materials (30ft of wire, 3ft of conduit and a GFI outlet with a cover). As I said the digging did not take more that 30 minutes and I did most of it myself. So I paid approximately $250.00 for the materials. I was more than a little upset! The whole job cost me almost $500.00 to get my LAMP POST TO LIGHT AGAIN.

They came out the same day that I called. I still have the same problem $175 later for an hour. They were not able to resolve anything. I know it is probably a tricky situation because they were not able to find the base of the circuit, but I am still out of power in part of my home. They can't tell me how many hours it will take, when or how it will be resolved. The General manager was supposed to call me back the next day and I never heard from him.

Everything went well. They were very nice. They were good with my two dogs. Tina was great to work with.

UPDATE 4/24/15: I honestly can't imagine worse customer service. After this I spoke to a different electrician and he said that that work should have never cost that much. I agreed to pay extra, but this was over the top. Needless to say I am angry. The deal was for 2 hours of electrical work not a service call, a survey is NOT labor. I now have a letter from this company ordering me to court.

Mike the electrician was on time polite reasonably price he was very professional the job was done correctly and complete on time.

They were great! I had them install a surge protector and turned out really well. They worked very quickly, the clean-up was perfect, and they were really easy to schedule. It's difficult to directly compare pricing, though. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions! I'd use them again for sure.

Another company had upgraded my electric service to the residence. Well, I thought they took care of permits, etc and they did not. Come to find out the grounding wire connecting breaker box to ground and water inlet was never upgraded to the proper size wire. Needless to say I did not want that company to come back to my residence. I called Airhart Electric and they came and did the job and got the proper permits and completed the job. They went above and beyond and fixed other little things to make things a bit safer and more visually appealing to the cable/phone connections to the house and added another ground rod. They even told me my plumbing was not grounded at all! I was shocked! They did all of these little extras for free as well! Great company, great employees that go above and beyond. They care about there job, they were not just here to do the minimum required to get the job done. I will not even consider another company from now on. Thank you Airhart Electric!

Ben from Airhart came out and diagnosed the transformer problem and figured out what he needed to move the light fixture. Then he came back nine days later to do the work. I ordered the transformer myself from Amazon and had it shipped to me, which saved me a few dollars. He was very tidy in his work--laid down a tarp to capture the drywall dust, bits of wire, etc. and did a great job with both projects. My only negatives have to do with the price (which is on the high side, though not outrageous, since he was there twice and the wiring took a couple of hours) and with a bit of disorganization in the office. But the electrical work itself was performed promptly and well.

I requested a check of electrical system in my recently purchased home as the electrical bills seemed very high. I was told the price for service would be $96 for first hour plus any parts used and extra for more time. The electrician found a loose circuit breaker and asked if I wanted it replaced as he had the part in his truck. This was a double circuit breaker and I have replaced breakers myself in the past and know they cost around $20 or so and take about 5 minutes to install. I gave him the go ahead thinking it would be another $50 to $60. It did take him about 5 minutes. He spent a total of one hour and ten minutes at my house. He then came in with a bill for about $366!!! He said there was nothing he could do about it and that I should call the office. I did call the office and eventually talked with one of the owners. When asked to itemize the bill he said there was a $60 for the circuit breaker and a travel fee to get to my house and back (never mentioned before). When added up these fees still only came to about $225. When I asked him why the bill was $140 over the itemized total he just said the bill was what they charged. This company is a complete rip off. If you feel you must use them then make certain you get an up front price for every single thing they do.

Worker was on time; personable; performed the work excellently. Were pleased with his work and would certainly call Airhart again.

Poorly. They often did not come when they said they would. They charged additional for services I thought were included, they could not provide detailed, clear, readable billing that showed what was done at what cost (there were double billing errors). The work done was not always of good quality, some parts are just kind of shoddy, the inspector made them do a day's worth of remedial work to fix problems, they forgot to call the inspector in the first place, they forgot to call the electric company to tell them that they had put in 200 amp service. Therefore, we ran a 200 amp box on an old, dangerous wire for almost a year. Moreover, they were very expensive.

They were efficient, offering us 2 quotes for a couple different options. After we accepted them as the contractor, they were quick to schedule the work, showed up on time and were done without added delays. They left the work area clean and were courteous while on the job. The work they did was excellent, with all exterior wiring neat and all holes sealed.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY THIS COMPANY HANDLED THE JOB. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB AND THERE REALLY ISN'T ANYTHING I CAN COMPLAIN ABOUT. THE WIRING WAS PUT IN SAFELY AND THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.

THEIR PRICES ARE HIGH BUT SEEM FAIR FOR THE TYPE OF WORK THAT THEY DID. WE HAD ESTIMATES DONE BY A FEW DIFFERENT COMPANIES BEFORE WE CHOSE THIS ONE. I REALLY DON'T HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS.

THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIBLE. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, AND THEY CAME ON TIME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I COULDN'T ASK ANYTHING MORE OF THEM BECAUSE THEY DO THEIR BEST EVERY TIME.
