S & S Electric did a fantastic job. They were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and their price was better than all competitors'. They cleaned up after themselves, they did some extra work without trying to nickel and dime me. I am very happy with the work they performed and will gladly use them again.

As one of the requested lines involved a plenum in the garage that was plastered over only 1 of 2 network lines were installed. Instead of the flat rate 1/2 rate we got time and materials saving about 300.

They were the only company to respond quickly get me a quote. All the other companies listed near me on angies list were heavily booked or gave me a quote site unseen that I felt was extremely high. Scott came in and inspected the site before hand and gave me a fairly priced quote. We scheduled a date that had to be moved a few times because of weather. That isn't their fault as the install was outside. Eventually we got a good day and Scott came with another tech and got it all wired up and tested quickly. It is working perfectly and I haven't had any issues what so ever.

I called and left a message describing the work I needed done. Someone called me back the next day and left a message on my phone saying they would send someone out to my house. I called back again and left another message. I called again a couple of days later and left another message. No one has returned my calls and it has been a week.

Contacted S&S via Angies List to get a quote on some electrical work. Scott and his team were very responsive and helpful. It turns out that I did not use S&S for this work at this time, but I wanted to comment favorably on their customer service. Would consider them for future work and recommend others consider them.

John and Ryan came on time to check the electrical connection on our Jenn-Air cooktop. They checked the main box and the electrical box by the cooktop. They diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed the connections with the correct kind of wire connectors. While here they also updated an electrical switch. They did all of this within the original estimate S&S provided over the phone. Thanks!

We called S & S Electric and they sent Scott and Nick, who arrived promptly. They had to order a new box for the generator to be connected and a new circuit breaker box, as well as a new meter. They changed everything from the outside into the house and got us set up for the night. The next day, John and Nick came to finish the job. All three gentlemen were very knowledgeable and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them or to call them for any future electrical work.

Excellent. Two men came, They were very professional and pleasant. They found the problem, which was one of the outlets in a bedroom wall. They checked and fixed all the affected outlets. and they replaced the outside outlet which was always causing problems when we used it.

It went very well. I purchased the supplies and the work was done very professionally. They did come back a second time to complete garage door work because I had left over job hours. This was very appreciated. It did take many reschedules to get the work done due to bad weather.

On the day of my scheduled appointment, no one showed up during the window of time I was given. I waited thirty more minutes and then called the provider. The person I spoke with was unsure of how this happened, but apparently none of the electricians were given my appointment on their call sheets (though my appointment had been scheduled well in advance). Two electricians arrived @30 minutes after that and performed the inspection of the knob and time wiring. Once they determined that it was live, I asked for an estimate to have it removed. They told me that they would have the office prepare one and get back to me. That was on May 12. The reason I need to have the wiring removed is because I am planning to have spray insulation put in as part of a home energy cost reduction plan. I cannot move forward with that work until the knob and tube is disconnected, as it would create a fire hazard. At the start of July, RISE contacted me about the fact that I hadn't yet returned my contract to have the insulation work done, and I was reminded about the fact that I had never received my estimate. I left a message at S&S and didn't receive a call back, so I sent an email on July 10. I received a reply on July 13 saying that they would check with the estimator and get back to me. They didn't. I emailed again on 8/5 and as of today (8/11) have not yet received a response. I was prepared to hire S&S to take care of the knob and tube wiring (a rather pricey job), but they have now lost out on my business. Meanwhile, I have missed out on some additional discounts through RISE for the weatherization work that I need done, as those special discounts expired at the end of July.
