I had to get my bathroom renovated due to improper work from seller of the house. I had Stephan come in march of 2021. he did a great job. However, my caulking around all of my brand new tub walls, has started coming off. so i called to have him come out to recalk. he said that he would be able to come on Wednesday the 23rd at 8-830 am. today i get a text stating that he cant make it that day and sorry for the inconvenience. i then asked ok when can we reschedule for. he read the text and never replied. i asked if it could be next week. he again read the message and never replied. I then messaged again and he hasn't read it, along with leaving him a voicemail after just 1 ring. if he decides to not get back to me, I will get my lawyer involved for not complying with his guarantee.

It was outstanding. They were very detailed oriented, responsive, and extremely considerate in remodeling and cleaning each night.

Stephan and his crew (Ray) were excellent. Our kitchen and bathroom needed major remodeling (they had not been updated since the 1960s), and thanks to Stephan they now look beautiful! Stephan and his team were absolutely fantastic to work with when remodeling our 1990's master bathroom. They converted a shower/tub combo to a beautiful walk in shower with glass doors, re-tiled the floor, installed a new 2 sink vanity, painted the bathroom and replaced the toilet. Stephan was on time every day when working on the project, easy to communicate with to make tweaks or changes and gave us a lot of great suggestions during the remodel. We have already recommended H.S. Remodeling to family and friends who have also used Stephan and team to renovate parts of their homes. Highly recommend this reliable, fair priced company that does fantastic work!

Horrible... the work was considerably sub par. I used glass tiles and he never told me they would be harder to install. All of the cut tiles had jagged edges where the paint of the wall waa exposed behind the tile. Even full tiles were chipped. Grouting was done very poorly he also re grouted some ateaa on kitchen floor and it has already crumbled a week later.

Stephan was incredible with our bathroom renovation. He stayed on track with timeline and price. He is incredibly communicative, kind and a problem solver. Our bathroom looks amazing thanks to his hard work and skill set. We would hire him again in a heartbeat!

We contracted with Stephan to remodel our main bathroom. We had the bathroom stripped down to the guts. New walls, ceiling, vanity, bathtub, tiling, ceiling fan, closets, medicine cabinets, toilet, and painting. Stephan helped us with our design, did all the stripping down of the old bathroom, put up new walls, ceiling, and tiles, then installed all the new bathroom items and painted the walls. We were so happy with the first bathroom that we contracted with Stephan 3 months later to do our smaller master bathroom as well. Now we have both of those bathrooms modernized and it has made a big positive different in our home. Stephan is very professional and does very good work.

I could not have asked for a better experience. I have been through several remodel projects and I have to say this one was the best one of all. I wish I had found Stephan @ HS Remodeling years ago. His professionalism, responsiveness, attention to detail were unsurpassed by any other contractors I have hired in years past. Stephan not only did premium work on removing old tile and replacing new tile in my shower, shower floor, bathroom floor as well as installing a new linen closet but he did so without disturbing the remainder of the house. Every evening when I came home from work, my home was neat, clean and orderly. All tools and material used by Stephan were neatly arranged in one corner of the bathroom. All work areas were cleaned and organized. Previous remodels by other contractors in my home have been extremely tense as I felt I had no control over what I would find when I came home from work. This job was so different. I felt at ease and extremely confident in Stephan's ability to give me what I was looking to achieve. The tile work and all the finish work on the closet was precise. Stephan also made suggestions to help me decide on a final design for the layout of the bathroom. Hiring Stephan was the best decision I could have made. I truly believe anyone who hires HS Remodeling should consider themselves lucky to have found a true professional in this industry. I have recommended HS Remodeling to several family and friends. I would hire Stephan again in a heartbeat. I can't thank him enough!

Stephan did an outstanding job on all aspects of the job. (and there were many) Responsive and very punctual, we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a bathroom remodel.

I had a major problem in my shower with water getting past the tiles and leaking into the floor below. Stephan diagnosed my problem correctly (many others did not) and worked with me on a cost-effective solution to the underlying issue. Additionally, he repaired rotted wood from the leak. This was a great experience all around.

very unprofessional. finished the bathroom but still had to come and do the countertops. he sent a emailing asking me to mail him a check for the bathroom, which I did. when it didn't show up in 2 days he showed up at my house demanding I write him a new one. he got the check 2 days later in the mail. he hooked up my kitchen sink to my new countertop and it was leaking in 3 months. tried to contact him and never responded. would not recommend

I called Stephan to renovate a bathroom that had previously been redone 5 years ago. The previous contractor had done a horrible job. The grout and caulk was crumbling and peeling and there was water damage under the tile. Stephan immediately called me back that day and made arrangements to give us an estimate. He gave us a few options and we chose to have a total renovation. He always showed up on time and he and his workers were very pleasant to work with. Once the job was started, he continued until it was completed approximately two weeks later. What a difference! They did a very professional job and it looks excellent. We have gotten many compliments on the workmanship and will definitely call them back when it is time to renovate the kitchen.

H.S. Remodeling did a fantastic job with both of our bathrooms. The work was extremely professional, they showed up on time every morning, and started/finished the job essentially on schedule (any slippage was due to other providers). All design/layouts were discussed in advance and if something needed to be modified/changed, there was clear and timely communication regarding those items. If there were overages from these changes, it was well defined and reasonable. In the end, we were extremely satisfied with the work and would recommend them to others who need their bathrooms remodeled. Thanks guys!

The work went well. The tile looks great. The problem came when I asked him for the link of the shower door I should buy. I didn't want to make a mistake with the measurements. He emailed me the link, I purchased the door through Amazon. When he went to install the door it was too tall. He then tells me I shouldn't have gotten that door! Seriously, then he wouldn't take responsibility for giving me the wrong door. And I was not able to return it. Trusting he would now make it right, I asked him again for the proper link to order the door. He sent me the link, I ordered the door, but now he won't even respond to me to schedule the install. So now I'm stuck with a door that won't fit that is back at his workshop that he won't bring back to my house. I have no way of getting the door to my house. While the workmanship of the new shower was very good, I am so disappointed with my experience with the door.

Stephan did a great job. He was responsive, helpful with coordinating throughout the process, and professional. He did a great job removing the old countertops and backsplash and installing the new. He work was professionally done and the the worskspace was kept clean. I would definitely hire Stephan for another job.

Our remodel couldn't have gone any smoother. Stephan is professional in his craftsmanship as well as his communication. It was a pleasure to work with a contractor who kept me in the loop the entire process. Our bathroom came out beautiful. We were super satisfied and plan on hiring Stephan again to work on additional projects in the house.

It went excellent. They came every day for seven working days on time and stayed the whole day. They performed top quality work for a reasonable price. Couldn't be more satisfied with the result and really enjoyed the process, believe it or not.

Stephan and his guys were great, they were always on time and cleaned up every night. The job was done in a little under 2 weeks. I would highly recommend him and will more than likely hire him again.

My experience with HS Remodeling was very good -- friendly and very skilled workers, sublime painting, and Stephan is just the best ever. Very good prices too. An absolute pleasure to work with.

It went about how you'd expect when a contractor: (1) Bids a job and then attempts to bully the client into picking up their own building supplies; (2) Is terse and unwilling to communicate effectively about the disagreement; and (3) Fails to show up at the agreed upon time to start the work. In short, not well.

There was one instance of a problem with the drain and he addressed the problem right away, agreed it was a problem and did not try to do deny it--but fixed it. THanks so much.

Through Angie's List, I made an apportionment with this contractor to come to my house and provide a quote for several projects. The time of the appointment came and went and he didn't show up. I called 30 minutes after our appointment time to see if he was running late or if he still intended on showing up. He answered the phone and told me he didn't have any record of us having set up an appointment (as I was looking at our conversation in the "messages" tool on the List). His general demeanor during our discussion about blowing off our appointment was completely dismissive. I understand that sometimes things can get missed but having revolved my morning, on a work day, around meeting with him, the expectation would be some recognition that the error was on his part. A simple "I'm sorry" would have gone a long way. If this is his attitude while trying to win business, how would I have any faith that he is going to show up and do good work? Surprised and disappointed at the lack of professionalism.

If a contractor knows that he/she will not be able to complete your job in a timely manner, THEY SHOULD BE HONEST. When they respond immediately to an advertisement, come to your home within days of answering your ad, and provide a quote 24 hours later, one would think the contractor was going to defy all odds and actually do what he/she said they would do. THIS IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT GIVES CONTRACTOR'S A BAD NAME. I have been stepping around cabinets and hardware for 3 months - really? Very disappointing.
