Champlin Floors

We have used Joe previously and he has always done an excellent job. He did an upstairs bathroom for us the first time we hired him, and we were so impressed that we asked him back to lay laminate flooring on this same floor a few years ago. When it got wiped out in the flooding, he removed it all for us, and this year, after we hopefully eliminated all potential flooding risks, we are trying again with tile. Joe knows everything about tile and will point out any possible problems with your tile choice or design ideas or subflooring. He is willing to sit down and go over all the possibilities - he wants to be sure you will be satisfied before he even begins a job. He will also give you itemized estimates on various choices, so you can compare - for example, a diagonal layout vs a straight one. He will give you the benefit of his experience on what will look best, but he expects you to make the final decision. Joe keeps written records of everything, which is very professional and makes sure everyone is on the same page. He is pleasant to talk to, and extremely punctual - if he fears he will be even a little late, he will call. When the job is done, he cleans so thoroughly you wouldn't know he had been there, except you now have a beautiful floor. He enjoys his work and takes pride in it.
