Dennis Jr. came out himself with his assistant and performed a full inspection of the three-season room roof, which is what we initially contacted them for. They also went on the roof for the rest of the house to inspect some things because when they were inspecting the three-season room roof they noticed a few things weren't right. It turned out that the company that installed our roof never installed proper protection from ice and snow. We were very appreciative of this information. We had spoken with a few other companies and some contractors. Robinson Roofing gave us the most thorough inspection of our property, the most information about what needed to be done, and also the best price. We hired them to do the roof on the three-season room, install the metal to protect against snow and ice, and to resecure the gutters. A day or so before they came, I remembered that we also needed a chimney cap. They told me they could take the measurements when they were doing the rest of the work and place the order. The day of, they took the measurements for the chimney cap and Dennis kept me appraised of their progress. There were some extra materials and work that needed to be done for the new roof and Dennis made sure to check with me and get approval before proceeding. They were even back the next day to install the chimney cap! Everyone was professional, they cleaned up well when they were done, and they were kind enough to take some bulky items to discard for me that I needed to get out of the driveway. We were extremely happy with the services provided and would absolutely recommend Robinson Roofing!!!

thoroughly explained estimate. worked on scheduling 2 day job when no rain expected. roof had some unusual slopes and angles. included one section of flat roof. showed up on schedule. put up protective canvass over critical areas around the house. 6 man crew were polite, quiet, and worked continuously until job completed. performed a few extra minor tasks at my request at no extra charge. cleaned up thoroughly. everyone seemed to take pride in doing a professional job. finished product looks great. compliments from neighbors. came back one time after job done to take care of an extra detail I asked for. could not have asked for a better experience.

After reading the positive reviews of Robinson Roofing, I contacted them and left a phone message. I received a return phone call the next day from Dennis Robinson, Sr and made arrangements for an inspection and estimate the next morning. Dennis, Jr. and his crew arrived on time and carefully inspected the leaking area, the dormer, and the whole roof. They were polite, friendly, and clearly experienced - I felt very confident of their ability. They discovered extensive dry rot in the dormer requiring repairing the dormer, re-shingling the dormer, and doing whatever needed to be done to make the roof watertight (sorry, can't recall the technical terms!). Dennies, Sr telephoned me with a quote of $1700, and the next day personally delivered a written copy of the quote. We arranged to have the job done the following week. The crew of 4 men arrived at 8:30 and worked until 3:30, getting the bulk of the job completed. They returned the next morning for a few more hours to finish the job. They cleaned every last bit of debris from my driveway and took care to not disturb plants that I had growing by the house. The dormer looks great and, after several heavy rains, has proven to be watertight. I am very pleased with the workmanship, the professionalism, and friendliness. I highly recommend this company!

I contacted them on a Friday afternoon. They responded first thing Monday morning. Came out for an estimate Monday evening. I received a proposal in the mail on Wednesday and immediately returned signed copy to them. They came out on following Monday and completed the job. They were extremely quick with their response, competitive with their estimate, professional with their dealings, and meticulous with their work and clean up. I have owned my historic home for 36 years and have dealt with many companies. I would definitely call them again and feel confident in referring others to them.

They were prompt each day, worked all day, pretty quiet given that it was roofing. Responsive to my questions and flexible about adding an item. They did some clean-up of the property but as with all such jobs, one does have to search for loose nails later. Also, I am chemically sensitive and some of the materials were problematic. I was able to be away for most of the really bad parts as when they glued on a rubber roof, for example.

I had called local companies 2 years ago to see if there were any problems with my roof. I can not remember if this company was one of them, but a couple companies came by, got up on my roof, and said the roof was fine. Putting their opinions aside, I decided to open the existing ridge vent up-to see if it was open. Sure enough, the 2 guys I had put the roof on 5 years ago had never cut a ridge vent. This company did the work to help finally ventilate my roof. A big crew came over and they were pleasant, informed, certified, and did cleaned up well.

Had some minor snow damage from snow sliding off the roof. Dennis, the owner came and looked at the damage and gave a thorough assessment. I did not need to be there for the assessment or the repair which made it a lot easier. The price was very competitive to a few other quotes I received.

They were great. Calls were promptly returned and crews showed up as scheduled. The roof looks great, was right on budget and for the most part cleanup was great. My only minor complaint is that there were quite a few cigarette butts tossed about. Almost 0 random nails in the yard, but plenty of cigarette butts were left behind.

They were very good. We did not end up going with them but they were very good. We liked everything about them except the price was not what we were looking for.

Everything looks great and we'll see how it all holds up over time. I have no reason to believe that it won't outlast me and my wife. The crew was on time each of the three days the project took and worked very efficiently, even in the 90+ degree weather we were having at the time. They cleaned up the site after each day's work and did a fine final clean up after all the work was done. Dennis, the crew leader, gave us progress reports at each juncture and whenever we asked how things were going. His Dad stopped by to see how things were going, to provide updates and to show us pictures of the mess that was the old wooden gutter system. They gave us options for fixes and never insisted that we had to do one thing or another, just what they thought our best value would be for the long run. They met their quoted price with no overages, which we thought we might incur because of a fair amount of decay on some of the roof deck. Robinson came to us with high recommendations from our neighbors and I would give them the same. And they were less expensive than all the other companies we talked to while gathering quotes. Very pleased and as my wife says now, we can be proud of our roof.

Called Robinson Roofing and the owner Dennis answered. He took my information and said he would look at the damage and give me a price. Dennis called back the next day with a quote and an expected date he could perform the work. Once I game him the approval, he completed the repair the next day. The work was performed as stated. No mess or sign of a repair was evident regarding yard debris. Dennis is reliable and professional. I would hire him again.

Great! They were fast, very efficient, cleaned everything and I never even heard a curse word with eight guys.

Robinson team did a great job with quality materials replacing our roof. We needed wood repair in several places due to age and some leaking that had begun recently. All was taken care of. Robinson team did a great job of looking over our needs in detail and recommending the right approach, including starting with a plywood foundation on the main roof that other companies we talked to did not recommend. We believe this was the right move given the age and design of our house (1925).

We got a number of estimates from various companies (most listed here on Angieslist) and while Robinson Roofing wasn't the cheapest option, they were willing to work with us on price, given that this is a 100-year-old house that needed some care and attention! Also, I tend to go with my gut instinct when I meet the estimator and theirs seemed very friendly and not at all pushy (which is usually a major turn-off). Their crew was hard-working (August!), got the whole job done in just a few days and we're very helpful and professional (they even offered to help out my neighbor one day when something got stuck in one of his gutters). One of the roofers knocked on my door and handed me an old antique ashtray which he had found nestled under one of the eaves! The only complaint I had is that we weren't given fair warning about the MESS this work would make of our attic. They have an excellent brochure/info packet, but I don't recall seeing any warnings about bucketloads and bucketloads of wood splinters, roofing nails, and thick, black, sooty dust pervading every corner, crack and crevice. We keep a lot of stuff stored in our attic and would have appreciated a heads-up about this before work began. With any roofing job comes mess, and most of this will be in the form of stray old roofing nails lying around the yard and driveway--not good for kids or cars tires.

Great work, everything looks good and in place. They Called a few days ahead to give us their schedule, and they were right on time. Cleaned up all of the trash, even left us some extra shingles. I would highly recommend.

The roofer performed roofing job within two weeks after I accepted his quote. The job was done exactly as described in the quote. Even though I requested them to return to fix a small problem they retruned quickly and took care of the problem. I would highly recommend them.
