It has gone very well. Steve handled the approval process of the generator and helped expedite the work that National Grid needed to do. He did a fine job of coordinating the project. The installation team, especially the electricians on the job, were very experienced, skillful and helpful. I would highly recommend Sunshine Oil for this type of project.
Description of Work: Installation of a standby generator. However it required prior permission from the Bristol Historic Commission. We also needed the utility company to increase the gas line capacity from the street and have a new gas meter installed so the generator could support the electrical needs of the whole house. We went out for bids using some of the vendors on Angie's lists and found that Sunshine Oil and in particular, Steven Januario, was the most knowledgeable, responsive and professional of all of them.

 + 0 moreThis project was coordinated through RISE Engineering. We solicited bids from three contractors. One of the bids was totally out of site, Standish came in surveyed the situation and never returned a bid. Sunshine's bid was considered responsive. With this project, we were able to obtain an interest free loan of $8700 for 7 Years. The biggest holdup was waiting for National Grid to bring gas in from the street. It took them 6 weeks to come in. Once we had gas to the house, Sunshine came in and did the installation. It was done on time and professional. I would recommend Sunshine to anyone.

 + -1 moreEVERYONE THAT WORKS FOR THIS COMPANY HAS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. I HAD A SHORT IN ONE OF THE WIRES FOR THE PUMP THAT THEY FOUND RIGHT AWAY AND HAD FIXED IN ALMOST THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME.
